Zars standing at the cave entrances, staring at the night sky from inside the cave. Thinking back everything which happened from the start, he smiled with happiness.

Although he felt everything was surreal after arriving in this magical world, yet strangely his soul felt really happy like it was back to his own home. He didn't know why, but he remembers that when he was 11 years old there's a bizarre thing happening to him.

He's dreaming a long dream which is different yet the same life in his modern life. He dreamed everything which was vivid until it ended when he crashed into something which wrecked his body because he saved someone.

However, that was it and he didn't remember who he saved and what happened after that. He didn't know whether he was dead or laying on the hospital bed for his life in that dream.

The only bitter experience in it was changing his look toward life. Fortunately, he is still himself and he only gets memories from that time.

He didn't feel anything directly from that dream since he could only act as a spectator, but he knows that he's witnessed a different version of himself.

However, the most beneficial thing he gets after waking up from that dream in his brain working faster, his memories and brain reactions are enhanced.

Only after that dream, his attitude toward his parents became more distanced. It's because after what happened in that dream he witnessed.

Then suddenly he remembered that he had seen his main wife's face in some news of suicide in that dream, his face changed into grim since he can see that he changed her fate if that dream is something that should have happened.

Meanwhile, there's a boy running through the forest on a little-sized island close to Gloomy Island, and currently he's been in a hurry since he's bringing her sick mother, on his back.

From the boy countenance, he should be about 15 years old but the truth is he's only 8 years old. No one knows the truth of his strange physique, but if supreme cultivator saw him, maybe they would go into war just to take him as their disciples, husband, or as an adopted son.

Of course, there's a possibility that someone would kill him just to erase any future threat. That is if they can't get him for themselves. Since anything they do to transfer his physique to others is impossible.

He teleported here together with his mother after his branch family was massacred by Duan Clan Main Branch, and the two escaped with the price of their butler and servant's life, which made them feel pain.

Fortunately, the teleportation array could transport two people or else he would be alone now. He felt fortunate that he could flee here with his mother, but he still hoped that other people from his branch would be able to escape with their lives.

His step is firm since his physique is huge and strong, but his mother on his back is unconscious which makes him anxious.

He tried to find a place where his butler told him, he tried to find it on this night in this forest which is creepy. It has a scary atmosphere, but he didn't feel scared since he already knows that this forest is a safe place from the butler.

He didn't fear any pursuer appears since it should be impossible when the teleportation array is destroyed by their butler the moment he and his mother arrive here.

The only sad fact is that the last message from his butler is disturbing since it seems his butler was killed.

When he heard him saying sorry at the end of the message, the boy cried while gritting his teeth while vowing to wipe out anyone who's connected with his clan's massacre.

If not for his father died when he was only 2 years old, maybe his family would not be that weak. Alas, everything is happening already and there's nothing he can do with it.

He's forced to mature early because of his mother's sickly body and lack of a father's figure for the last 6 years. Fortunately, his branch is full of good people though there's some bullying it's still tolerable with his physique.

"Mother, please hang in there!! We will arrive at our hideout soon!" Gripping on his mother's hand, he told her to stay conscious.

"....." Unfortunately, there's no answer, glancing at her he found out that she's fainted. Gritting his teeth he hoped that there's no beast here, since it's been a long time since the info about this place being safe wouldn't be accurate.

Coming out from the cave, he walked slowly to enjoy the atmosphere at night. The sky was beautiful, and the moon was really brighter than his past life's moon.

He didn't think too much about that flashback since it's only part of his past, it's just that he never thought that he was saving his wife leading him and her dying together at the same date.

He only felt hilarious since if he didn't intend to eat her at that time, maybe she would be the only one who will die but he is still alive until 5 more years if it is matched with the time of his dream ended.

While he's thinking about it, Zars stopped on his track after hearing the report from one of his beasts hiding on an island close to Gloomy Island.

He was surprised there's a human entered the place which he already sealed, but the strangest thing is that his beast telling him that the human who comes has a special aura.

Feeling intrigued, Zars teleported to his beast's location. Glancing around, he found that her body had already evolved into a humanoid, though it's still imperfect since her lower body's part still has the beast's foot.

Thinking about the possibility for him to help her evolution faster, he smiled since he would do that later. Throwing it at the back of his mind, for now, he will think about that later since there's another thing that needs his attention.

The beast immediately kneels at his direction, though it's kinda awkward seeing her like this when her leg is still too big.

Patting her head fluffy since her fur focused on her head, he told her to stand and go back to cultivate.

This beast is the only one he sent to this land, it's the most intelligent from his beast. He did send his female beast, which has superior bloodlines and intelligence to each island close to Gloomy Island.

Of course, he only sent it into an island devoid of humanity, but it seems this island has something that makes him miscalculated.

He didn't try to scan the island for its details, since he only did it casually which led to this situation. Today's situation still lets him know that in the future he would need to scan every millimeter of any place without exception.

"Mother, please rest assured that I will protect you! I will avenge our branch no matter how long it takes!!" The boy was sitting on the side of the bed while holding his mother's hand, which was cold.

"....." The mother is only silent since her consciousness is already in deep sleep, only her eyes letting out the tears which tell people that she can feel her son's concern.

"Mother, just sleep now! I'm sorry for always being a burden for you!" Seeing her eyes leaked out of tears, he wiped it out while smiling so she wouldn't be sad.

"....." The woman's tears still leaked out, though it is only a little it still makes her face getting paler.

"Hoh~ it's a really amazing promise! Yo big guy!! What happened to your mom?" Suddenly from the entrance, which should be closed, there's a sound of exclamation with an amazed tone.

"...Wh-who are you? Are you from the main branch? What do you want to the point where you chased us still here? And how did you arrive here when the teleportation array has been destroyed?" The boy turned around with panic while trying to shield his mother with his big body.

He asked the man who suddenly showed up without stopping while staring at the man's silhouettes.

"Wah Wah!! Slow down, big guy!! If I was your enemy, I wouldn't bother to talk like this!!" The man was waving his two hands above his head to let the boy know he meant no harm.

"...Th-then wh-who are you? Are you a ghost??" Slightly relieved, the boy relaxed a little but he's suddenly tensed again since he remembered that this island shouldn't have human inhabitant from his butler.

He stuttered when asked about the man's identity with a fearful tone, and he thought there was a possibility that the man was a ghost or something similar. The boy still kids inside so it's natural for him to fear something like that, only his question makes the man's hand go stiff.

"Ghost? How could it be possible there's a handsome ghost like me? Hazz, I only want to know what's wrong with you two! huh??" While the atmosphere becomes tense, the man assured that he's not what the boy imagines him to be. However, the boy vigilant wasn't lowered instead its raised up.

"...." The boy's body shivering but he's still trying to shield his mother from this mysterious man. He fears that the man is really a ghost or something which is like eating a human.

"Hmm... It seems your vigilant is high huh? I should praise you for that! Like I told you I'm not your enemy, neither am I a bad guy!!" The man was dumbfounded with this current situation, its the first time that someone saw him like this.

Though when he thinks again, his experience with people in this realm is still lacking. Aside from one-sided domination's talk to his invader, he didn't talk with others like what normal people should.

Of course, he did talk with every woman in his harem, but it seems that was different, so it's a really fresh experience for him to be ignored like this.

"...." The boy spreading his hand while his body still shivering but his eyes letting the man know that this boy has the determination to protect his mother.
