Chapter 16: Festival

His uninjured hand let go of the broom and reached out to grab it fiercely. There was a thud, the water splashed, and Harry fell into the mud and rolled off his broom. His arm was hanging there at a very strange angle.

"Win - he caught the Snitch, go Hermione, Ron, let's go see Harry!" Gwen jumped in excitement.

Harry was lying in the middle of the arena, rain pouring down his face. His friends and teammates leaned over to look at him in a circle. Brothers Fred and George Weasley were desperately pressing the wild Bludger into the box. Bludger still struggled fiercely.

"Stand back," Lockhart said, rolling up the sleeves of his emerald green suit. "I happen to know a spell that instantly heals broken bones."

"Don't—" Harry said weakly, but Lockhart was already spinning his wand. A second later, he aimed his wand at Harry's arm.

"No—!" Gwen covered her mouth to keep the screams from leaking out of her hands. What useful spell could this straw bag have?

"Huh," Lockhart said, "yes, yes, it happens sometimes. But the point is, the bones are attached. It's something to keep in mind. Well, Harry, stroll to the hospital—ah, Miss Ollivander, Mr. Weasley, Miss Granger, can you accompany him? Mrs. Pomfrey can—er—give you up ."

Harry stood up, protruding from his sleeve like a thick, flesh-colored rubber glove. Lockhart didn't take Harry's bones. He removed all the bones.

After Harry listened to Madam Pomfrey's nagging three times and drank a whole mug of Raw Bone Spirit. Gwen left space for the three of them to go to find his friends.

"Hey, Gwen. Tell us, what's the joke Lockhart made this time?" Take it back to the tower.

"He kindly lost the bones of his entire arm in order to give Harry an extra day off. Ah, if scolding Lockhart once a day gives me a point, I promise the end of the term I can turn myself into an all-O student." Gwen did not forget to clean up the two batters one by one on the way.

"Then how's your progress, gentlemen." Gwen went back to the lounge and lit the fireplace with his wand, "Hope you got useful news from Ron."

The twins looked at each other and Fred shrugged, "It's weird, they're not going to study the Chamber of Secrets, but are interested in potions. George and I found out that Hermione was taking two boys to boil Make a very advanced potion, at least I haven't learned it yet..."

"...don't look at us like that, Gwen, I checked the textbook - yes I did look through the Potions book - we really didn't."

"Okay," Gwen could only sigh, "last year freshmen saved the school. This year they are sophomores and are working on potions for at least fifth grade. I'm ashamed." Then she pulled out a piece of parchment. "But it can't be said that there is no progress, such as a very outrageous idea, there is a Medusa in our school..."

"Ha!" The twins let out an earth-shattering burst of laughter, "A Medusa?" Fred rubbed his stomach, "You're a wizard, Gwen. Medusa is just a Legend, maybe in Lockhart's novels, how could there be, at Hogwarts, 'a Medusa'?"

Even George, who has always been tolerant, did not agree this time, "I think there must be a wizard intervening, after all Medusa can't open the door of the secret room and won't be stained with blood on the wall. write."

"Okay, well, if you all think so. Maybe tomorrow we'll go see Harry and get something out of their mouths."

The next morning, Fred and George, who were wearing toilet seats, and Gwen, who was ten meters away from them, saw a statue in the medical wing. It was the boy who loved to hold the camera. He was also petrified.

"What's going on? It's a student this time?" Gwen almost crushed Harry's newly grown bone again.

"Colin Creevey, poor boy. He 'just happens' to be Muggle-born," said Fred, frowning.

"Colin was brought in in the middle of the night yesterday, by Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall. The film in his camera was melted, and Professor McGonagall guessed he was trying to sneak in to see me , met the attacker on the road and wanted to take a photo." Harry was a little uncomfortable, he was sad about what happened to the boy, and especially thought that Colin was hurt because of himself.

"Don't think about it, Harry." Gwen reassured, "At least this time it can be confirmed that you have nothing to do with the last incident. You are lying on the bed in the medical wing, and your right hand even Can't get a wand." But we'll have to figure out what melts the film of a magic camera, she thought.

    A clever magic item

Something is wrong, Gwen thought. The amount of information in the past half month has been too great, so she had to clear her mind and clear her mind.

A cat was petrified and the chamber was opened.

First grade Colin Creevey was attacked and petrified.

Ginny and Colin are friends, the little girl seems to be frightened, and has been sleeping poorly at night recently, tossing and turning on the bed. Gwen persuaded her to go to the medical wing to get some sleep aids, but Ginny was still pale and dark.

To make matters worse, Gwen told Fred and George about it. As a result, the two older brothers, who had more than enough success, took turns wearing feathers or conjuring up scabies, jumping out from behind the statue to tease Ginny in order to please her. Gwen felt that this was clearly a disservice.

Ginny must have some secret. But Gwen has always reserved respect for things that shouldn't be curious. Although Ginny was a cute little witch, Gwen was her brother's friend, which was a bit scary for eleven-year-old girls who weren't really girl friends. In particular, Gwen always felt that Ginny's secret could be related to Percy, which made her lose interest in it.

Hogwarts is now in a panic, everyone is exchanging amulets, exorcism and other things to protect themselves. The practice quickly took the school by storm, and Neville Longbottom bought a stinking giant onion, a spiky amethyst and a rotting salamander tail.

After a Quidditch practice together, Gwen catches the exhausted Weasley twins. Gwen dragged them forcefully to the corner of the lounge, no matter how close they were to a puddle of mud.

"I can't stand it, gentlemen." The little witch's eyes shone terrifyingly in the dark room, like a cat peeking at an enemy, "If there's always someone to make money, why can't it be us? At least Our product will work better than onion and garlic, right?"

Fred and George looked at each other and sat up straight. "Happy to help, Miss Ollivander."

Gwen nodded gracefully like an elderly witch, "While you were training - I couldn't stand Wood - he dragged all my good friends to the Quidditch pitch. On—I mean, I went to the library to look it up." She added quietly, "I referenced Hermione's book list, and it worked, but this girl reads more books every week than I drink. More pumpkin juice."

Fred and George felt that the conversation would be a little long tonight, so they both took off their robes, and George took out the sandwiches and cakes he had just stolen from the kitchen. Gwen took advantage of the situation and made another pot of tea.

The long kraft paper, full of words, reappeared, recording the immature ideas of Gwen and the twins.

"… There are several situations. If it is a petrification spell, of course, seniors can use defensive spells, but how should juniors protect themselves. Maybe make a helmet, or a smaller one. Add a rebound spell on it, a simple petrification spell can definitely bounce back, black magic is too difficult." Gwen pointed to the crooked first explanation.

"What if it's a potion or a poison? I've heard that Professor Spoutrow's mandrake can bring petrified wizards back to life. So does this herb have any preventive effect?"

"Mandela..." Fred was a little excited, "Why don't everyone hold a pot of mandrake, and if you encounter an enemy, just smack it!"

"Kill one thousand enemies, and self-destruct eight hundred." Gwen curled his lips. "Perhaps this idea is a bit sloppy, but I agree with you, Fred. Sometimes defense is not good, and attack is also a good means of protection."

"Before you have more dangerous thoughts, talk about Medusa, Gwen." George rationally stopped Gwen's brainstorming and tapped the third strip on the parchment .

"Oh, this one isn't done yet. I was just thinking, if it's really this magical creature that turns petrified at a glance, the best thing to do is not to look at it."

All three fell into deep thought, and Fred used his wise little brain to think for a while, "It's hard, if there is such a guy standing in front of me, whether it's out of curiosity, or In order to save one's life, people will always look to the past subconsciously."

"Indeed," George squeezed his forehead, "and it's never a good idea to play dead with your eyes closed. I mean, any creature that turns to stone at a glance, of course not. They'll just stand there waiting for you to fall to the ground. Worse yet, they'll attack."

Gwen sighed, "I'd rather believe what you said now, there are no such dangerous creatures at Hogwarts."

"Take a break, Gwen." Fred gestured to pat Gwen on the shoulder, but she swiftly avoided it
