A Glitch In The System

Chapter 28 - Mending Wounds

Coming down I stopped his punches before healing his hands.

"Look kid I know what you're going through," I stated before he interrupted.

"You know nothing old man It's all my fault don't try and be like everyone else and try to understand. I.. I.. ," Kenshiro sobbed continuing his barrage onto me unwavering form his wounds.

"The situation may be different kid but the emotions your feeling is the same," I shouted toward him blocking his fists and healing them at the same time before knocking him onto the ground.

"You won't change anything by holding onto things its time you let go and forgive yourself or your no better than that girl," I declared stepping on his stomach before enforcing it with my chi to hold him down.

Kenshiro looking at me defeated looked down at his hands before he stared at me with full determination lifting my foot slowly before I put more pressure down causing it to smash into his c.h.e.s.t which I healed.

Kenshiro finally giving up and stared into my eyes which he finally understood.

Staying there for a while he finally calmed down.

Lifting my leg I gestured for him to get up.

Taking my hand up he stood back up.

"I'm sorry grandmaster for lashing my frustration onto you," He Apologised bowing to me before he started to walk away.

Looking at him walk away I shook my head this kid didn't want to learn anything from me.

Looking into the moon I smiled I saw the image of my mother pointing toward the kid though I decided that if the kid was going to get help he was going to come to me.

The next morning I heard the loud thumping noise again looking down I saw Kenshiro at it again.

Seeing his hands get bloody I stopped him again though.

Seeing me he stopped and walked away frustrated which I healed his hands again.

This continued for days until he paused and just stood there looking at the tree which continued on until I appeared behind him which he sensed which was odd.

"Why do you stop me, old man, you've only known me for a few days just because we're relatable doesn't mean you have to stop me every time?" He asked turning to look at me.

"Becau-," I said before he interrupted me.

"Because you want to do the right thing that's what she said when I put my friend down he turned rapid because of her schemes I don't want to be apart of your schemes old man," he stated before he continued to stare at the tree.

"Because I want to," I said teleporting to lean on the tree.

"Not because it's the right thing that's all bullsh*t doing the right thing is subject full and not absolute," I declared before sitting down next to him instead of walking away

This left Kenshiro thinking and surprised he had never felt a more honest answer come out of anyone besides his dead friend.

"Look kiddo what does this represent to you, watching you punch this tree scares me as I've only seen this type of determination once," I cautioned.

"Oh, and where'd you ever see this before," He rebuked.

"I've seen it in myself," I declared.

Kenshiro looking at me squinted his eyes before leaving his fist at the tree.

"What does this tree represent to you Kenshiro?" I questioned this tree he had been punching for while.

" It represents my weakness i was never strong enough to defeat my opponents, Gain strength for my self, and protect her," He sighed tearing at little his eyes full of determination.

"I was never stronger than my elder brother known for his absolute strength and domination at hunting, My younger sister renowned for her weapon mastery could beat anyone at a dual though I was uselessly known as the middle child of the family no one looked for admiration in me until she came into my life. She showed me that I didn't have to be strong or as skilled with weapons to gain admiration from others i could just be me. I had already escaped my mother and my father remarrying into that family all ready pained me. So when I was seduced by that inner disciple I had already fallen in her webs of lies," He monologued sitting down with his arms on his knees.

"I come here every day to repent for my sins every time I punch this tree I gain a glimpse of her on the other side calling for me so I train every inch of my body no matter the pain or the cost," He declared clenching his fists.

"I'll train you but promise me something," I said gesturing my hand for him to stand up.

"And what is that grandmaster?" He asked turning his head to see mine.

"Move on and try to live alife with no regrets," I smiled underneath my mask which he somehow felt.

Looking at me he smiled back and took my hand.

"Since you don't care about your body its time you see what real training is," I announced before putting large chi cuffs on his feet restricting his movement the cuffs weighed about 50 kilograms (110 pounds for you Americans)(use the metric systems, you Wankers XD)

The frown on Kenshiro's face would be etched into my heart as I smiled so devilishly at his torment.

"Come at me, we aren't going to stop until you collapse which you won't be able to," I chuckled as I pulled out the legendary poking stick used just for this purpose.

Kenshiro looking at me confused started to run at me but flobbed onto the ground so hard that he bruised his nose and scr.a.p.ed his knee.

I healed his knee, not his nose.

Kenshiro putting up a stance with a now bruised nose stared at me waiting for me to move which I did.

Poking all his weak points he understood what I was doing.

Slowly but surely he managed to slowly adapt and see my incoming attacks though he wasn't able to move his feet which I was trying to do make him not reliant on his legs would allow him to be able to take a hit with him knowing what to do next.

Kenshiro finally adapting to his legs I minimized his legs on the weights to 10 his arms having 20 and his back having 30kgs. (22, 44, 66 pounds)

It was now time for him to do basic training with the weights.

Watching him struggle to walk around put a smile to my face his ever giving determination put a smile to my face.

A few weeks have passed and I am standing on his back with his weights still attached to his body though they weighed almost 20X since last time as I healed his body each time.

Although his body had adapted to the weights it didn't to his strength.

Strength without control is useless.

Finishing with his weight training we went fishing.

This confused Kenshiro but i didn't need to answer him.

Fishing not only trained patience but also control.

If you pulled too hard on the fishing rod it would snap but if controlled to precise control you could capture any fish with enough strength.

Laying there we waited for 4 weeks though Kenshiro would be confused as he never felt hungry which was my doing.

Waiting he got impatient and nearly snapped his rod until a bait came in excitement he snapped the rod again and let the fish go away.

"Rushing into things will only lead to disaster," I stated before I threw him another one I knew we were going to be here for a while.

5 weeks have passed and he has finally understood the task so with patience he meditated and controlled his emotions.

When the line started moving he slowly got up and controlled his strength to pull the fish towards not exceeding too much as he might snap the line which he succeeded.

Seeing him smile also put a smile on my face but also a frown.

Failing at my son I should have done more with him before I sent him off.

"Good job Kenshiro your training with me is done you can finally go back to the dojo or where ever your heart maybe," I stated before teleporting him to the tree and walking away.

"So that's it you just train me and you built me up for what now I've got nowhere to go," He shouted toward me.

"Find a purpose now Kenshiro a road of revenge ends with two coffins save those who can't be saved by the system," I declared shouting towards him before I continued " Save those like your self unable to break free but need guidance to see the light which cannot see by those who blind others," I stated before I teleported away I needed to think about my life the poor choices I myself had rushed into and what it brings.

Leaving a newspaper in my place Kenshiro read it and was surprised to see heroes emerging from throughout the world he needed to be apart of something bigger although his hatred for that inner disciple was large.

He would rather save more people than tarnish his friend's name isn't that right.

Walking away from the dojo he never looked back it was time for a new hero to be born.

That day Kreed the punisher was born.
