Episode 66 – Albinus Venera

Albinus Venera, a second-year cadet in the martial arts department and martial arts club at the Royal Academy, was a man with ambition at best, narrow-minded at worst. It was a small boat.

If you want to know why such conflicting assessments can exist, you need to know about this Albinus Venera.

Albinus Venera was from a commoner, and from a young age he was a man who liked to stand on top of others.

Realizing that it takes strength to stand above others, he quite by chance took a martial artist from the Royal Academy who was passing through the village he lived in as his teacher.

Learning martial arts from him, Albinus pushed himself to the limit every day to achieve his goal of standing above others.

However, his mediocre talent, which did not match his ambition, became poison to him.

If Albinus had no talent, even if he had learned martial arts, he would have only followed the movements and would not have been able to understand the tricks engraved into each movement.

If that was the case, Albinus would have given up on standing above others with his fighting skills and set out to find another way.

However, did he say that vague and ambiguous talent is more terrifying than no talent?

Albinus had talent.

The problem is, that talent was only at an extremely mediocre level.

Compared to a person with no talent at all, Albinus’ talent seemed very outstanding.

Since most of the commoners are people who have no talent in any field, Albinus, who has a talent for martial arts, seemed to shine among the common people.

In fact, Albinus had considerably higher martial arts skills than other commoners.

I don’t know if it’s thanks to that, but Albinus was able to enter the Royal Academy very easily as a commoner.

Albinus was delighted when he confirmed that he had been accepted into the Royal Academy.

Now, he seemed to have a solid avenue open before him.

At the Royal Academy, Albinus thought he would be able to get what he so much wanted.

“Beginner Auror users? It’s quite good for a commoner.”

“Commoners have a hard time feeling Auras, but if commoners have awakened Auras, that’s great.”

However, what greeted him was the insurmountable wall created by the status of aristocrat and commoner and the overwhelming difference in ‘talent’.

At the time of entering the Royal Academy, Albinus was on the level of a beginner Auror user.

If you were a commoner who had awakened an aura and became an aura user, you would be able to become an escort knight for an aristocratic family.

“For a commoner and an Aura user, you did well. There is no need to be ashamed.”

“Come on, you are a user. If you cannot find a job to do after graduating later, come to our territory.”

No matter what he did, people appreciated his efforts positively because of his status as a commoner.

However, Albinus heard their praise as if he were sarcastic at himself.

‘It’s pretty good for a commoner, but that’s your limit.’

‘Do you think there’s a place for commoners to write?’

After the sparring, Albinus, exhausted, began to attach strange meanings to the nobles’ pretense.

From then on, Albinus’ personality began to twist little by little.

If Albinus had been at least a little familiar with the language used by the nobles, he would have known that their words were just a pretense.

If the person who taught Albinus was an aristocrat, he would have given him a tip about the aristocratic way of speaking for him who was about to enter the Royal Academy.

Unfortunately, however, Albinus was far from both solutions.

Since that day, Albinus has devoted all of his time to training except for a small break.

The story of Albinus, who trains himself at the gymnasium every day without a break, rain or shine, quickly spread among the cadets.

I don’t know if that’s why, but there were quite a few cadets who liked Albinus.

Being diligent and sincere was a virtue that all cadets should emulate.

Surely, the number of people around him began to increase, and thanks to the influence of the people gathered around him, he was able to reach the level of an intermediate Auror user.

However, Albinus’ talent was limited to that point.

Intermediate Auror users.

For a commoner, it was a remarkable state.

However, it was shabby compared to what nobles with talent could achieve.

Since Albinus met the wall called the limit of growth, he tried diligently to somehow overcome the wall of limit.

However, his skills had stagnated for several months.

People who knew him comforted him by saying that it was more difficult to go from intermediate to advanced Auror users than it was to go from beginner to intermediate Auror users.

From noble mtl dot com.

He expressed his gratitude for people’s comfort, but his intentions were completely different from what he was saying.

‘Those guys, while talking like that, they’re probably trying to put me down and make themselves stand out in the end.’

Albinus was living as a person who pretended to be gentle and kind on the outside, and showed a typical double-faced attitude.

Then, during the interim evaluation period, watching Alberto and Nina going outside to play leisurely, the anger that had accumulated so far exploded.

However, his anger soon subsided. It was thanks to the vial given by the black hood.

After taking the medicine from the vial, Albinus noticeably began to improve his skills.

His acquaintances who knew his skills came to congratulate him, and Albinus thanked them more friendly than before.

There is a saying that the seat you stand on changes the person.

As Albinus’ personality came from being powerless, there was no reason to reveal his original personality now that he had power.

His level had reached the highest level of Auror users.

For commoners to reach the highest level of Aura user, it was equivalent to reaching the level of Aura Expert for nobles.

So, as his skills became known, he became the strongest cadet among the common people, and many professors tried to teach him, but his attitude of politely rejecting the proposals that came to him, saying that he was still lacking, made many professors hate him. I started liking him.

But people didn’t know.

That all this is a mask he wears to bring down only one person.

Albinus Venera was finally able to stand face to face with Alberto Salihar Maydern.

The level he had reached now was the level of Auror Expert Beginner, which is one level lower than Aura Expert Intermediate, which Alberto is said to have reached.

There was a pretty big gap between the beginner and intermediate levels of the expert, so he wasn’t thinking about rushing into Alberto.

In the first place, the reason he came looking for Alberto today was a sort of search battle.

It was not enough to deal with Alberto with the power of Albinus.

So he intended to incite public opinion and bring down Alberto.

The opinion itself came from Darius, the detailed plan was designed by Horus, and the execution was left to Albinus.

Albinus deliberately spoke to Alberto with exaggerated movements and a loud voice.

“Hey, you there. Where are you going now?”

Royal Academy cadets were free to roam anywhere within the academy, but Albinus was saying it as if it was wrong for Alberto to roam somewhere.

“Who are you?”

And then, when Alberto spoke to him, he grinned inwardly.

Now that the conversation started, the first operation was only half successful.

“Who? Don’t you know who I am?”

Albinus deliberately created exaggerated voices and movements while speaking in a self-congratulatory manner.

All of this was intended to make Alberto misunderstand himself.

Because my usual self would never be like this.

“The martial arts genius, Albinus Venera?”

Maybe that’s why, he tried to talk about martial arts and martial arts, but the words got twisted and he ended up saying martial arts.

However, he said his name quickly so that Alberto would not catch on to what he had said wrongly.

“Hmm. It’s a name I’ve never heard of before. I haven’t met the seniors from the martial arts department yet, so I don’t know their names.”

“Uh huh, you can’t do that. Even though the department of martial arts is different in detail, as long as they share the name of the same department of martial arts, you must know the senior’s name.”

Of course, there were no such rules.

All of this was part of a plan to make Alberto gossip about him.

In fact, when this plan was being formulated, Albinus opposed it.

The two of them come up with ideas and make plans, but it was Albinus who actually had to carry them out.

“So, are there any other alternatives? It is a sword that makes it easier later on if you forcefully create an empty gap. Don’t complain, just do it.”

In the end, it was Albinus who gave an embarrassing line to Horus’ sad eyes.

“Is that so? There is also a strange culture.”

Albinus smiled the moment he heard Alberto’s answer.

This meant that Alberto was caught in their reckless plan.
