Episode 76 – Someone’s behind it for sure – 1

From the outside, the Royal Academy was an educational institution made up of attendants, cadets, professors, and staff.

However, if you take a closer look at the inside, you can say that it has brought a society as it is.

First of all, the status system applied in society was being applied as it was.

Often, if there is a truth that is misunderstood in the world, it is that there is no distinction of status within the Royal Academy.

However, this does not mean that there is no difference in status in evaluation, but it is a place where there is a thorough difference in status other than evaluation.

The easiest thing to understand is that the dormitories for commoners and nobles were separated from each other.

So, are the dormitories used by commoners inferior to those used by nobles?

Not necessarily.

For example, the dormitory used by nobles and the dormitory used by commoners had bathing facilities.

However, while the dormitory used by nobles had a bathtub for individual use, there was a communal bathhouse in the dormitory used by commoners.

In addition, there was a canteen for the convenience of cadets in each dormitory.

At this canteen, cadets could buy necessities with money, whether they were nobles or commoners.

Of course, there was also a difference between the aristocratic dormitory and the commoner dormitory.

The canteen in the commoners’ dormitory is only open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.

In addition, there were no items sold that cost more than five silver coins, no matter how expensive they were, at a price that was low enough for ordinary students to buy.

On the other hand, the canteen in the noble dormitory was open 24 hours a day, every day.

It was because most of the commoners fell asleep after 9 o’clock, while the nobles often came to the canteen late at night to have a conversation.

In addition, the amount of money spent was overwhelmingly higher than that of commoners, and the types of things they bought were diverse.

As such, since there was a clear difference from the dormitory facilities, I could see how futile it was to say that there was no difference in status between commoners and nobles at the Royal Academy.

Anyway, there was a distinction between commoners and nobles starting from the dormitory, and of course there was a difference between nobles and commoners when it came to running the academy.

For example, let’s say that someone misunderstood because of something they didn’t do, or that the cause and effect of an event are distorted.

Then, there is a difference in how the commoner cadets and noble cadets handle their work.

First, the commoner cadets must submit solid evidence or at least three witnesses to formally file a problem with the academy about the case.

However, if a noble sends his attendant to raise an objection to the issue, the Royal Academy will find a way to resolve the issue on its own.

A good example of that was the rumor of infidelity between Alberto and Elizabeth.

Others misunderstood the fact that Alberto had given her Elizabeth a copy of her fatigue she did not eat, and they mistook Alberto for her interest in her.

The misunderstanding quickly spread to the Royal Academy, and while rumors were being circulated that Alberto and Elizabeth had liked each other since childhood, that they had a daughter, and that the two had escaped love. Rumors spread that they were preparing.

So Alberto asked his father for help, and Count Meidern put pressure on the Royal Academy for his son and his friend’s daughter.

After that, as everyone knows, all misunderstandings were resolved through announcements from both families and announcements from the Royal Academy.

Anyway, Alberto left the dormitory early in the morning and went out to find Albinus, who was training at the training ground.

However, Darius appeared in front of Alberto who was about to enter the training ground.

“Alberto. Please, can’t you reconsider challenging Albinus to a duel of honor?”

I was quite taken aback by Darius’ words I met in front of the training ground.

Albinus first quarreled with me, and then put me down with unreasonable reasons.

Also, I don’t know who spread it, but Albinus became a good victim, and I turned into a vicious perpetrator.

If this continues, my honor will eventually fall to the ground.

“Why are you stopping me from going to see Cadet Albinus?”

“Haa, do you think your actions are noble?”

Darius was asking if my actions were noble.

“Aristocrats value honor. However, since rumors have been spread that damage my reputation, I have no choice but to suspect Albinus, who is responsible for the incident.”

Aristocrats value honor, and now I thought that Albinus was the one who spread the rumors that defamed me.

“Um… ….”

“If you have nothing to say, I would like you to step aside. Otherwise…… You will have to force your senior to step down, even by force.”

Of course, this was all in the hope that Darius would step back and make a way.

Because aristocrats harming commoners and nobles harming nobles were two different things.

“What are you going to do if you can’t back down?”

“If that’s the case, I have no choice but to think of you as one with Albinus.”

In fact, from the moment Darius appeared in front of me, my intuition sent a strong warning signal.

Darius is a very dangerous man.

In terms of power, Darius was an ordinary man with no special powers, but when he said my intuition was dangerous, he meant something.

“If so, what are you going to do?”

“Something annoying will happen, but we have to cut them both down.”

At Darius’s words, I spoke in a strong tone.

If my intuition warned me, it meant he was a really dangerous guy.

It could be said that he had strong power in something other than force.

And, this type of person was the most difficult thing for me to deal with.

If it is an Albinus that is simply strong, you can press it with force or subdue it with skill.

“Do I have to go that far?”

“What the hell is that commoner covering up like that?”

I asked Darius.

Why are you protecting him so much?

“Because nobles have a duty to protect commoners.”

“Even if that commoner did something to insult the nobility?”

I asked another question about the statement that nobles have an obligation to protect commoners.

Albinus did something blasphemous to a person with the status of a nobleman, did he just ignore it?

“Yes. As for Albinus, he is a commoner who deserves that much. Other people may not know, but if you touch Albinus right now, it won’t do you any good.”

“What do you mean?”

From noble mtl dot com.

“Albinus is a talent that many professors in the martial arts and martial arts departments pay attention to. You are well aware of the fact that the Royal Academy does things that are a bit far-fetched, starting with the entrance exams, in order to nurture talented people.”

Darius mentioned the entrance exam and talked about why he shouldn’t touch Albinus.

“Is that why?”

“Of course not. Because he was from a commoner and has risen to the level of a low-level Aura Expert.”

“You mean with just one?”

“Of course, I know that you are a swordsman who has reached the intermediate level of sword expert. However, Albinus was a commoner, but he had risen to the lower rank of Aura Expert. If he misses such a talent, he is a loss to the Breguern Empire.”

Darius was now even mentioning the Bregern Empire.

What a great friendship. Didn’t he understand that the more he made excuses like that, the more suspicious he was?

“The realm of a lower level Aura Expert. That is definitely a great level for a commoner.”

“Yes! So, even for the talent who will lead the future of the empire…….”

“Who is behind Darius?”

I was sure here. That there is someone behind Darius.

It is natural for the nobility to perceive that commoners are inferior.

By the way, what kind of aristocrat protects the commoner who insulted the nobility here?

This meant that, with a very high probability, behind the commoner who insulted the nobleman, there was a nobleman circling around the commoner.

This is something even a three-year-old knows.

A person who advocates excessively for someone must be related to that person in some way.

So I openly asked Darius.

“Who is there?”

“It is clear that there is someone behind Darius. Otherwise, there is no reason for senior Darius to make such an outrageous claim.”

“Isn’t that an overestimation?”

“It may be too much speculation. But, senior Darius, do you know that?”

Darius tries to make excuses, but I have evidence that Darius is lying.

“What, what?”

“Senior, whenever he tells a lie, his nostrils slightly enlarge. There, his eyes slightly twitched. Just like now.”

That was through the changes that appeared in Darius’ body.
