"I'd expect nothing else from the Fourth Hokage. You managed to to wound me and separate me from the Kyuubi. But the Kyuubi will eventually be mine. One day, I will control this world." The black robed man's hand under the cover of the loose robe dripped with blood. And if you looked closely, his left shoulder looked a little wider than the right.

And just as the black-robed man finished talking, the space that had his eyes as the center contorted and formed into a spiral, then he was gone. He probably knew that if he stayed longer, it would not give him any benefits. And it did not matter to him as the Kyuubi was still left on the Village, rampaging on it's own.

Hearing those words made Minato feel uneasy. 'I get the feeling that he isn't lying.'

Still, what matters most is the current situation. The Kyuubi is still rampaging, he needs to aide the others immediately. With that, his body flickered.

Back at the shelter, Ken was sweating a lot. The throbbing that was just faint a little while ago was getting stronger and stronger. And as it grew, he slowly felt that hunger was slowly creeping up.

Thump! Thump!

'What is going on?' Ken would not have though that the Black Stone that sent him to this world was actually responding now. He already forgot about it, but this inexplicable thing happening to him right now made Ken recall about it.

Meanwhile, inside his stomach, the Black Ball that open a while ago was slowly building up the the invisible suction force. It was like a hungry beast that have not had a meal in centuries. It kept getting stronger and stronger that Ken was affected, causing him to feel extremely hungry.

Thump! Thump!

Suddenly, Ken who was about to stand up halted when he saw a black ball of light floating towards his location. And as it came closer, the black ball of light traveled faster, as if it was getting pulled by something.

Ken instinctively raised his arms to protect himself, but he did not expect what happened next. He only saw the black ball of light enter pass through his stomach, Ken hurriedly turned back to see if it was really a ghost that passed through his stomach, but the moment he turned his head, three other black ball of light was speeding towards him.

Ken was shocked, he ignored the intense hunger and rolled to the side, again, out of instinct to dodge, but who would have thought that the black ball would turn and suddenly pass through his stomach, no, to be precise, it entered through his stomach.

'What the f.u.c.k is going on!!' Ken could not help cursing, but thanks to the intense hunger, he was not able to shout his complains.

"Ken, calm down- what's wrong?!" Itachi who thought that his little brother was scared looked at Ken and was shocked to see the Ken's clothes drenched as he trembled. Some of the people sitting near them also looked on what was going on, but ignored the little boy, thinking that he was playing around.

"Oi, brat! Stop moving around!" A ferocious looking man looked down at Ken and spat with resentment.

"Sorry..." Itachi looked at the man and apologized, but his eyes was icy and was radiating killing intent. He knew that his little brother never liked playing around, there was probably something wrong.

"O-okay..." Seeing those eyes, the ferocious looking man looked scared and turned to the other direction.

"What's wrong, Ken?" Itachi urged the question as he asked with worry. He had never seen his little brother like this.

"No.. Nothing.." Even with his past life included, this was probably the first time Ken felt despair just from hunger. Sweat poured out from his pores and his hands tremble nonstop.

'They can't see those?'

His eyes suddenly lit up when he felt that the hunger was slowly getting alleviated.

'So those black ball of lights will help he deal with this thing? So that's how it is!' Ken sneered and sat up with a smirk. But the smirk looked ugly. 'Fine! Eat your fill!' He was almost sure that the one causing what was happening to him was the black ball, and since it was angry, it probably just woke up.

Bang!

As if responding to Ken's thought, the suction force suddenly intensified countless fold and hundreds of black ball of light were quickly being dragged in.

But after just a minute, the number of the black lights being taken in was slowly reducing. But thanks to the surge of the black ball of lights, his hunger was alleviated to some extent and Ken finally stopped shaking.

'Could those black lights be from the dead? Lingering spirits?' His thoughts spun, but suddenly, pain assaulted his head.

'What's next?' Ken clutched his head and nearly rolled on the floor, but he immediately calmed down when he remembered where he was.

"Ken! Whats wrong!" Itachi looked at Ken whose expression was changing from time to time.

"Don't worry. It's nothing... Just rest..." Ken replied with a forced smiled and closed his eyes to concentrate. At this moment, even with his experience, he was still shocked with the twists of events.

Fear. Anger. Disgust. Sadness. Rage. Loneliness. Melancholy. Annoyance. Despair and all kinds of negative emotions seems to suddenly overcome him.

It finally dawned Ken that the black ball of light was acc.u.mulation of negative emotions from the dead. He was not sure how the Black Ball was able to do something like extracting negative energy, but he was now sure that it awaken due to the beast called Kyuubi that is still rampaging outside.

The beast that had an overwhelming negative energy.

After a minute, Ken felt the pain in his head slowly subside, and his attention was again back to his hunger. He noticed his body conditions returned to normal, but there was still throbbing coming from his stomach.

'It's still not full?' Ken noticed that ,for some reason, as the screams of the Kyuubi intensified, the throbbing would also get stronger.

'You want to eat that thing?' Even Ken did not know why he was asking it. It was as if he already knew that the thing inside his stomach, the Black Ball understood what he was saying.

Thump! ThUMP! THUMP!

As if confirming Ken's thought, the throbbing instantly went stronger.

'You really wanna eat that thing?'

Thump! Thump!

'Why would I let you, though?' Ken sneered inside. Why would he, a, a little baby, risk his life just to fill the stomach of a black ball? Don't be ridiculous!

But before Ken could even scoff, the Thumping suddenly intensified again his hunger was again increasing.

'What the eff are you doing?! Oi, wait!' Ken sweated got scared again.

Thump! Thump!

'Ok! Ok! I understand!' It was only then that the hunger subsided and his stomach was again back to the faint thumping.

A moment later and Ken suddenly felt a tremendous power outside, furthermore, it seems to be getting even stronger. Maybe ordinary people won't be able to sense it, but his instincts were always right. The Black Ball also seems to get exited as the thumping got stronger, but thankfully, it did not affect Ken that much.

'Come on! Tell me how to do it?'

Thump! Thump!

'I will just have to get closer to it? How close?' Although Ken did not know how he was able to understand what the Black Ball was saying, he just ignored it.

Apparently, he will have to at least be in a 2 kilometers near the Kyuubi, and the Black ball will be able to absorb that thing.

'But how do I do it? Whatever, I just have to get out, right? The beast should be 3 to four kilometers away from here. Still, that bloodl.u.s.t sure is terrible!' Even now, the bloodl.u.s.t seems to have gotten even stronger.

Ken looked around and every body looked to be concentrating on the sound coming outside. Some were praying and crying. Especially the kids who were separated to their parents during the chaos.

Ken looked again and suddenly had a thought that he never considered before, 'Did those family of the people I killed, like that too?' Flashes of memories of his previous life of slaughter floated in his mind. He could remember the expression of despairand their last words that he disregarded of the one's he killed.

He could remember how someone said, 'Live well, my daughter,' or something like, 'I'm sorry'. Their expression was similar to these people.

'Tss.' Ken ignored that though and stood up, he got more important things to do.

"Big brother, I'll go and pee." Ken tugged Itachi's clothes and walked towards the door and exited.

Itachi, knowing his little brother would not make trouble, and the fact that he was carrying Sasuke and he was very tired nodded his head. Added to the fact that although he was smart and m.a.t.u.r.e, he was still young. Who would have thought that his little brother would go somewhere else?
