A treasure-appraisal maniac

Chapter 779 Cloisonné

It was late at night when we arrived outside the cave.

The cold wind blew by, and Chen Xiang couldn't help but shudder.

Lu Fei put a down jacket on Chen Xiang and followed the little milk dog to the scene of the incident.

This is a small valley, less than 500 meters away from Woniu Pine.

When we got closer, the giant panda was lying on the ground already frozen.

The cub was wrapped in a down jacket and held in his arms by Gao Yuan. His dark eyes stared at the giant panda as his grandma whined.

Looking at the two pandas separated by yin and yang, Chen Xiang couldn't control it anymore, threw herself into Lu Fei's arms and cried softly.

Lu Fei patted Chen Xiang's back and looked at the terrain.

The drop here is less than twenty meters from the top, and it is not particularly steep.

It seems that the giant panda lost its footing and fell down, and its huge head hit the stone, causing it to die.

As for the reason, Lu Fei and others cannot escape the blame.

If it weren't for people like him, the giant panda would not have fled, let alone fell to death.

"Woo."

"They are so pitiful, Lu Fei, the giant pandas are so pitiful!"

"It's all our fault, it's all our fault for not disturbing them!"

"If it weren't for us, nothing would have happened to it!" Chen Xiang cried.

"You are right, it is indeed our fault."

"However, this is also its fate."

"Since something happened, there's no point in regretting it."

"Let's bury the giant panda first and then treat its cubs well," Lu Fei said.

After some comfort, Chen Xiang stopped crying.

Lu Fei took the cub and looked at it.

The cub weighs less than ten pounds and should be only two months old.

After whining helplessly for a long time, the baby's physical strength was greatly exhausted, and he kept trembling in Lu Fei's arms.

Lu Fei took out the orchid fragrance dew from his bag and fed half a bottle to the cub.

less than ten minutes

, the cub stopped shivering, curled up in his down jacket and fell asleep.

Lu Fei took out his nail clippers and cut off the cub's sharp nails to make sure it would not cause any harm, and then handed it to Chen Xiang.

Chen Xiang sat on the stone and gently stroked the cub's hair, showing her true nature as a loving mother.

Wang Xinlei was asked to accompany Chen Xiang back to the cave first, while Lu Fei and others began to dig holes.

The ground was frozen through and as hard as iron.

Fortunately, there were many people, and half an hour later, the giant panda's body was finally buried.

The little puppy sat on the ground and panted heavily as he spoke.

"Brother, is this giant panda a male or a female?"

"Nonsense, how can a male take care of his cub?" Lu Fei said.

"If we bury the female panda, her husband won't form a group to retaliate against us, right?"

"Get out!"

"How many giant pandas are there in the whole of China?"

"Where the hell are you going to form a group?" Lu Fei said, rolling his eyes.

"Brother Fei, I'm just wondering, why are there only female pandas and cubs, but no male pandas?" Qin Lehao asked.

"Giant pandas are different from humans. They are very indifferent in that respect and only go into estrus once a year."

"Normally, male and female pandas live alone, and they only get together to mate in March and May every year."

"That's it!" Qin Lehao nodded and said.

"Xiaolong, how's the helicopter contact going?" Lu Fei asked.

"Everyone has been contacted and the waterway has been approved."

"I'll be here tomorrow evening," said the little milk dog.

Lu Fei thought for a while and said.

"Please tell me again, just in case, it's best to come over at night."

"no problem."

"By the way, how's the tarmac doing?"

"It's all done. It's only eighty meters away from the cave entrance, which is very convenient." said the little dog.

After getting the definite answer, Lu Fei felt reassured.

After resting for a while, everyone returned to the cave together.

We found a dry place to pitch the tent and let Chen Xiang and the panda cub go in to rest.

Everyone had a quick bite of dry food and continued working.

Gao Yuan led people to transport the box to the entrance of the cave, and Lu Fei took the little dog and Wang Xinlei to the last room.

The door opened, and there were twelve large boxes placed in various directions inside.

Opening two boxes in a row, it was the same as in the previous room. Most of them were porcelain, gold and silverware.

Opening the third box, Lu Fei saw a good thing.

This is a rectangular smoker with eight treasures pattern in cloisonné enamel. It is ten centimeters high, the cover is about thirty centimeters long, fifteen centimeters wide, and the bottom is slightly smaller.

The smoker is rectangular, with two ears facing the crown and four legs hanging down like a cloud.

The four walls are made of off-white enamel glaze, decorated with filigree-glazed eight-treasure lotuses. The cover is unglazed and decorated with gilt copper hollow patterns. The border is a circle of "swastika" patterns, and the interior of the border is hydrangea pattern.

The bottom is decorated with enamel-glazed flowers, the center is filigree-filled with white glaze Ruyi cloud head pattern, and the rectangular frame is filigree-filled with the six-character "Made in the Wanli Year of the Ming Dynasty" in regular script in red glaze.

The carcass of this device is thin, the shape is regular, the glaze is smooth, and the blisters are small.

These characteristics show the progress and development of enamel firing technology during the Wanli period.

During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, unprecedented changes occurred in the style and characteristics of cloisonné enamel wares, mainly reflected in the use of enamel colors and tonal matching.

During this period, in addition to continuing to use blue enamel as the ground color, new white, green, and ocher colors appeared, or two or three colors of enamel were used simultaneously on one utensil.

Enamel color

The color is lighter, and warm or intermediate colors are more popular.

Due to the religious atmosphere at that time, auspicious patterns such as eight treasure patterns and swastika patterns were filled in the decoration of enamelware. It is an extremely rare treasure.

What's particularly important is that this smoker is a Wanli model, which is awesome.

There are only nineteen pieces of Wanli filigree enamel recognized in the world.

Eleven of them have been lost overseas, and three are in the treasure island. There are only five in the entire China, and they are all national treasures and will never leave the country.

But there is a certain gap between those and the smoker in front of me.

Let’s not talk about the extremely high difficulty of making the smoker. Just the swastika pattern alone makes this smoker a unique piece of scorpion cake.

In addition to this incense burner, there is also an extraordinary piece, a cloisonné enamel three-ringed statue with lotus patterns and animal ears.

This three-eared statue is nearly seventy centimeters tall, its diameter is just over thirty-five centimeters, and its base diameter is also twenty-five centimeters. It is quite a big guy.

This statue has a light blue enamel base and is decorated with cloisonné enamel floral patterns.

The abdomen is composed of six large lotus flowers in purple, white, yellow, red, white and yellow. The neck, mouth edge and shoulders are decorated with lotus flowers and hanging cloud patterns.

The lower part of the neck and the upper part of the feet are decorated with grape lines and banana leaf patterns for one week each.

In the middle of the circle foot are raised gilded double dragons, surrounded by three lines of regular script "Da Ming Jingtai Year System" in Yangwen.

The glaze colors on the belly, neck and feet of this statue are obviously different.

The glaze color of the belly is bright and bright, especially the dark green and purple, which are crystal clear and shiny, which has not been seen in other dynasties since the Ming Dynasty.

The glaze color on the neck and feet is dark and dry, and the decorative pattern is also different from that on the abdomen.

From this we can conclude that this statue was modified on the basis of the Yuan Dynasty enamel jar with neck, ears, rings, feet, etc. The base inscription should have been engraved on it later.

However, whether it is from Jingtai or Yuan Dynasty, such a big thing is an extremely rare treasure.
