Absolute Loyalty

When he were so shocked to see Charlotte looking at him calmly as if nothing happened, red haired guy on the right took a step forward then spoke with tone of authority "Commoner , we need you to answer few of our questions . Answer them honestly and you will get reward but if you lie you will be punished severely , Do you understand?"

Is she really Charlotte? She does look exactly like Charlotte but why is she so calm after what she did to me? Was what happened really a dream? Am i going crazy? What the hell is happening?

Because of his thoughts Kael never looked away from Charlotte then asked with uncertainty "Charlotte what is happening ? Why am i here? Who are these people?" then he tried to walk to where Charlotte was sitting but stopped by heavy pull from 2 guards .

He pushed away their hands from his shoulder angrily then looked at Charlotte with rage in his eyes and shouted "What happened after you shot me? Answer me!" as he tried to step forward again one of the guards pulled him again while other punched him in the side causing him to fall on his one knee.

Outraged he got up immediately then picked up hand of the guard who placed his hand firmly on his shoulder and twisted it skillfully as he slid back to his back then while other guard were in state of shock he kicked his right leg just little bit under the knee from sides with all his force.

When the guard saw his left leg bended sideways with some bones sticking out from it he wailed out loudly both from his shock and pain. Kael twisted other guards hand strongly till he heard cracking sound when guard got down because of pain he kicked him hard in the head with his left leg which caused guard instantly lose conciousness and slid to side of the tent.

It took him only 2 to 3 seconds to take care of 2 annoying guards, then he looked at where Charlotte was once again and as he expected all of them looked in a daze like they are not sure of what happened.

But shortly after red haired guy recovered and he walked infront of Charlotte as if he were guarding her then he drew his sword from its scabbard. Kael tried to calm his breathing while looking at 3 of them , red haired guy was observing every move he made cautiously while blonde boy were still in his daze and on Charlotte's face he could see fear and look of shock .

Then the red haired guy loudly shouted "Guards!" after that he looked at blonde boy then said "Foulque! Protect princess!" , the boy seemed to get out of his daze by that and quickly stepped near Charlotte and drew his sword as well . Kael was confused because they called her princess but when he heard some stirs outside the tent he quickly came back to himself and picked up sword of fallen guard and stepped to the empty side of the tent while not breaking eye contact with red haired guy and keeping entrance of the tent in corner of his eye at the same time.

When 3 guards entered tent and looked around red haired guy ordered

"Protect her highness , i will deal with him hurry!" guards immediately moved to side of Charlotte through other side of the tent where he kicked guard with broken hand .

Just when red haired guy were about to take step toward him Kael looked at Charlotte eyes with full of determination and spoke coldly "Charlotte , Explain everything to me! Why are they calling you princess? Where are we? Who are these guys? Or else i will kill all these clowns right now and you of all people should know that i am fully capable of that!".

After hearing what he asked Charlotte seemed to be hesitating just when she tried to speak red haired guy came charging while holding his katana over his head with both of his arm and slashed vertically with all his strength without hesitation .

Kael blocked with his sword , the moment their sword came into contact he lowered his sword tip and because he used all his force to slash red haired guy couldn't stop his sword when it slipped to the ground. Kael punched him with his left and when the guy is about to pull his sword back he quickly spinned behind him and placed his foot behind red haired guy and pulled him back by grabbing his hairs , red haired guy tripped on his foot and fallen on his back .

Then Kael placed one of his foot on the guys c.h.e.s.t while thinking "Thank god he is wearing that heavy armor , after just one slash it will take him forever to change position or react, Even attack itself is sluggish is it because we are in small space?", then when he were just about to stab his neck with his sword Charlotte loudly shouted "Stop!" .

Kael took in deep breath then pushed his sword till it reached red haired guy's neck to make sure he could stab him whenever he wanted he kept it there then looked at Charlotte and others who are guarding her .

All this time the girl were sitting but now she were standing looking like thinking what to say to him , while guards looked at him cautiously with fear in their eyes and muttered "Blessed one" while boy with shining white armor and blonde hair looked so nervous with full of sweats on his forehead.

Then Charlotte seemed to made her mind up and pushed guards who were blocking her then with voice full of dignity she said "Sir it seems you are mistaken me with someone named Charlotte... My name is Ascelot Rimun , Princess of Kingdom of Rimun, Daughter of King Reymonte Rimun" she paused little then "As for where we are , We are in western territory of Kingdom of Rimun we came here to deal with Wolfman pack who is raiding our villages around western border area. Scouts found you floating through river so they brought you here .. We assumed you are survivor of those villages and wanted to ask about situation over there.. And lastly these people are soldiers and knights of Kingdom of Rimun" then she waited patiently with calm face.

Kael looked at her eyes directly then asked "Are you really not Charlotte?"

Princess also looked at his eyes and aswered calmly "Sir, I am not Charlotte , My name is Ascelot Rimun"

After staring her around 3 minutes he broke silence with "Can you tell me what year is it?" , Guards , blonde , red haired guy and even princess seemed to be shocked by this question but princess still replied with calmness "Sir , This is 987th year by 6 kingdom calendar"

"Hahahaha" he laughed madly then with grim look he asked again "What is this Wolfman you mentioned earlier?"

Princess looked at him as if he were something strange then said "They are viscous beasts similar to wolf but they are as tall as 2 grown man and as strong as bear , they run around with their pack which numbers by thousands and attacks humans to feed their bellies. Also every forest no matter big or small are their home, they are everywhere "

After hearing what she said he finally understood situation he was in , It seems only explanation is that I am in other world! Or i am in coma and this is all in my head.. Well no matter , i don't care anymore if its another world then so be it , only strange thing is that this so called princess is looks exactly like Charlotte... I have no interest in her if she is not Charlotte, i just wanted to know if what she did to me was true or its just a bad dream . It seems i really did die or at least must be in coma.. I never cared whether i live or die anyway so lets just let them do whatever they want.. He threw his sword closer to one of guard's feet and sat down slowly then said "Well do whatever you want to do with me , I am not a village survivor so i can't help you , just think me as a random crazy guy"

...Different world , different Charlotte yet i am still same old me...

Ahh how i hate it..
