1575 I Was Still Young Two Minutes Ago

The two ladies looked at Grey, and burst out laughing.

One of them looked at him and asked, "You think you can kill us? Guess being a genius makes one overly proud."

"Actually, here's the thing. You're trying to escape because you already know the odds aren't in your favor. First off, you couldn't kill my friend, even though you two clearly have the higher cultivation stage, and the numbers on your side." Grey smiled and looked at the lady he attacked, "Secondly, how's your broken arm?"

He attacked physically, punching the lady on her arm. He knew the arm was broken, but she quickly hid it so they could escape, unfortunately, they didn't think Grey would want to kill them.

"Let this matter go, if not, you're only attracting more enemies." One of the ladies said.

The one Grey attacked added, "Do you know what Faction we're from?"

"It doesn't matter what Faction you're from, even if you're a descendant of a God, even if your father is a God, I'll still kill you." Grey's killing intent surged and he attacked this time, not only sending it out as a form of warning.

Reynolds and Alice attacked as well, they didn't care what Factions these ladies were from, Reynolds especially. If he wasn't strong enough, they would've killed him before Grey arrived. He never thought these two would attack him, luckily, he kept his distance, so he had the time needed to react quickly to their attacks.

The duo's expressions changed and they didn't try to attack, rather, they turned to flee.

Grey and his friends didn't give them that opportunity.

….

"Klaus is a good distance away from here, we will meet multiple Sovereigns on the way." Grey said to the duo as they stood on a mountaintop. It has been a few minutes since they got together, and they wanted to search for Klaus.

Grey made the tracking device in ways that he could separate his parents from his friends. His father could appear wherever he wanted in this place, but the same couldn't be said for most of the people present here.

They went after Klaus, and as for the two ladies, they've been killed. Grey would never allow people like that escape, unless he was not sure he could kill them. Since he knew these ladies weren't all that powerful, he killed them in a flash.

With three from the four together, they were able to quickly kill off any Necromancer encountered. Grey even went as far as attacking Necromancers in the Fourth stage, and they were killed under the sudden attack of all three. Grey used a four colored fusion orb, and the power behind the attack was at the very peak of the Third stage.

The Necromancer was killed under the trio's attacks.

Before getting to where Klaus was located in an hour, they killed over ten Necromancers, and two of them were in the Fourth stage. Those in the First stage were the fewest, only one of them, while the rest were in the Second and Third stage respectively.

The trio soon found Klaus, he was relaxing in a crystal clear lake. Alice and Reynolds were both transported to a forest and a large field, while Klaus on the other hand appeared in what could almost be described as paradise. The flowers around the place gives one a soothing feeling, and the essence present here was better than the other places they've journeyed through.

'How's his luck so good?'

This was the question in the heads of all three as they looked at Klaus who seemed very relaxed as he floated on the small soft bamboo raft he laid on.

He raised his head to look at the trio, "Took you guys long enough."

"I bet you were praying we didn't come any time soon?" Reynolds asked, his eyes twitching.

"Actually, I was hoping you guys only come to me when you've wiped out most of the Necromancers, at least a two to three days rest isn't bad." Klaus replied, before dropping his head once again, closing his eyes as if he didn't want to concern himself with the trio standing on the edge of the lake.

"Isn't he usually the one against relaxing?" Alice wanted to be sure she was staring at the same person who has found it hard to stay put the last few months they've been together.

"People change, Alice." Klaus said, "I was still so young a few minutes ago. After seeing this lake, I gained maturity and realized the path of cultivation needs one to relax before they can comprehend the best of their elements."

"Join me, I assure you, you won't regret it."

Grey and Reynolds shrugged, and under Alice's surprised eyes, they quickly made bamboo rafts like Klaus and started to bask in the sun. The fact that there was a sun made entirely from elemental essence showed how insane this place was.

Before they got here, she and the other two were discussing wiping out the Necromancers present here, yet, in the space of a few seconds, they've been corrupted by Klaus.

"Grey, Rey…" She called out softly.

"You should try this Alice, I see why Klaus said he's wiser now." Reynolds urged.

Alice looked at Grey, at least of the three boys in the group, he was the only one with a good rational thought process.

"Remember when I said I wouldn't relax until the last Necromancer was dead?" Grey suddenly asked when he sensed Alice's gaze.

"Yes." Alice nodded, and added, "I wanted to remind you about that."

"You see, I was still very young then, excuse whatever I said until a few seconds ago." Grey spoke gently, "I've seen the light, just like Klaus, rest is needed if one wants to grow."

Alice almost felt her head explode from anger, even after so many years, the trio still acted in the same manner, brainless a majority of the time.

She took a step inside the lake, wanting to drag the others out, but then she froze, she felt a sensation travel through her body and made her head relaxed.

"You could've just said it was good." She blurted out.
