"So you are saying that not only were you not able to detain one of the most dangerous men on earth, but you also lost an unknown right in front of you?" Fury asked as he stood in front of a large screen displaying a photo of Alfie and a dark figure having a fight in an alley.

No one spoke around him as he wasn't finished.

"Now I understand having a hard time with Alfred McBride, but how is it that we don't know anything about this damn shadow?" Fury asked as he turned around to the agent's and pointed at "Batman."

"There were too many factors for that, not only were they able to avoid detection from both cameras and sensors but somehow anything online for the few radius out were disrupted." An agent with a pad spoke up.

"We believe it to be some new jammer in the market, we haven't found any similarities to the current and known devices." Another spoke up.

"So let me get this straight, not only are all these technologies in our hands inefficient, but no one is able to find out anything about this thing? How about the Captain?" Fury asked.

Again no one spoke for a while until agent Hill spoke.

"The only thing we have on the dark figure is rumors, for the past 20 years or so victims have been stating that it was that very shadow that saved them, crime lords and organizations would either either change their ways for the better or suffer a traumatic experience.

The only thing they would say is "shadow."

But this case has never been brought to major attention for the fact that there was no proof of the shado's sighting from any kinds of cameras or such." Agent Hill explained everything that was known about the shadow.

"Find their location, I want a report on my hand sooner or later about this unknown, get to work." Fury said as he walked off.

A few days have passed and Alfie has been learning about history as much as he can without sleeping, that is one of the advantages of Chi.

Continually replenishing one from fatigue and tiredness.

20 percent of his time was used for meditation to fix the troubles he feels in his Chi and also figure out the problems.

Another 20 percent was used to eat, stretch and exercise his body to get back his peak body conditions while the rest was used to study history.

First off, he and Steve were hailed as heroes and were respected by a lot of people.

Not only that but the Amazons became popular over time, the subjects of Greek gods became more serious in school and colleges the more the Amazons spoke of it casually.

Then other pantheons were considered if they were also "real" by other curious professors and historians.

A warrior princess was an idol to many women just like Alfie thought, and Selena was given many names throughout time but was always called the "Princess."

One of the most ridiculous names given to her one time was "Warrior Woman" which Alfie was glad didn't stay with her.

Though Wonder Woman wasn't given to her, she was sometimes referred to as the woman of wonder.

But that's not what really changed the current world, what changed it was a few uprising companies.

The first one being Stark Industries, which was founded by Howard Stark who was a young genius that was a big help during the war sometime ago.

Stark Industries was the military's number one weapons contractor and still is, but while it still manufactured some of the most dangerous weapons, it also made some of the best protective materials given to the military.

It has been this way for the past 70+ years, but that wasn't the most changing thing that happened.

There is a company that stood with the Stark company which constantly put out new things bettering the homes, streets and cities all together.

The company was called Ravens Industry.

At first they only put out better consumer electronics than what was usually out, but around the late 1980's and early 1990's they had to step up their game due to two other companies that suddenly Rose up.

At that time, Randall G. Ravens, who was the founder of Ravens co. had to make something entirely new.

Which came the flying drones and the street mini cleaners.

The drones in the air Alfie saw when he woke up some time ago not only suċkėd in pollution but also scanned the streets for other programs like the mini cleaners.

The mini cleaners are like auto house vacuums that go around on their own cleaning the streets, the most common ones were the mini's that cleans the subway daily.

These creations were one of the few but most popular from the Ravens co.

These creations were introduced in the early 90's around the same time two of the biggest companies rose.

Willis Incorporated and Hall Industry.

They were small companies that were founded in the early 1900's but around the late 1980's it suddenly spikes with revolutionary inventions.

Hall Industry is purely a motor vehicle company, an industrial manufacturing industry.

They get their own resources, use their own resources then make their products.

It doesn't matter if it's wheels or wings, Hall Industries has their own brands and vehicles.

Their initials 'H' is on every one of their creations, and their creations are sought out by the most famous globally.

They are the top vehicle manufacturer known in the world.

Just like the Willis Inc. products.

Willis Inc. is also a top manufacturer in consumer technologies.

In a way they are the "Apple" and beyond as everything known from iphones to android phones came from there along with tablets and such.

But that wasn't it as the CEO at the moment is working on making new moves and making things futuristic for the world.

But unlike the Hall Industries, Willis Inc. is not global but country wide, though it is slowly growing and spreading more.

In the world of business, many knew that there was a relationship between the current CEO's of the two and Stark Industries.

Since young they have shown shocking genius minds and creations and grew up to take up their parents' company improving it.

They knew each other and also had drinks sometimes, though there was obvious tension between them.

Around May in 2008 when Tony was kidnapped, the stock rates dropped, and when Tony came back alive announcing that he would seize the making of weapons from his company, the stocks dropped immensely.

At the time Tony was having a hard time as his shares in the Stark Industries were low and not enough to make the bid decisions in the company.

But two of his "friends" who are the CEO of Willis and Hall showed up and dumped a large amount of their shares in Stark industries they have been buying up and saving.

Tony had suspicions on the two but he didn't buy into that too much as he focused on Obadiah and his discoveries.

And after Anthony "Tony" Edward Alfred Stark announced that he was Iron Man, Stark Industries stock went through the roof and came on top of all business.

A lot of people had expectations considering the powered armor and the rumored capabilities of the arc reactor.

The "rivalry" between the three geniuses was gone and Stark was known to be smarter than the rest considering what he has done.

The thing that interested Alfie the most was the two CEOs from Willis Incorporated and Hall Industries.

Dominic Hall and Hunter Willis.

They were around the same age as Tony Stark and grew up just as smart of them, what makes it more strange is that these two "came up" with things that would have already existed in modern time.

Like Netflix, Hulu and many other online entertainment sites which were owned by Willis Incorporated, they were the kings of entertainment.

Celebrities are transitioning to the world of online streaming entertainment.

Alfie wanted to meet this Willis Hunter, maybe confirma few suspicions he has.

Maybe even talk to this Dominic guy, because the car designs he came out with is a bit too futuristic.

He wanted to dive more into what she was talking about but she said he will know soon enough.

He didn't go further as she dropped a bomb on him, the famous Agent Peggy Carter who was also a friend of his died, or in her words ȧssassinated.

That's not all, Howard and his wife was also ȧssassinated just like they did in canon.

Alfie realized the timeline is really fuċkėd and the shit he knows is as valueable as shitt now, he already knew that the moment he saw the current changes in New York but for things to have changed but also surprisingly stayed the same.

Who killed them? It couldn't have been Bucky, because sadly...the guy passed.

According to the books, Bucky has continued to serve in the military leading both the Commandos and Wardogs to finish any HYDRA and Nazi leftovers.

He even got promoted a few times before he also served in the Cold War as a Captain himself before dying in 1952.

But this is not a very realistic universe so Alfie had to check, there were a lot of things to check on.

Plus Alfie left something for Bucky back in 1945 before they invaded Redskull's base, something that anyone would casually walk past but could easily be wanted by someone power hungry.

Alfie actually hoped that he could see Bucky again, but the chances are slim.

Now he has something to look into at the moment, he has a task which is information.

He remembered Civil War where Zemo obtained the footage of Bucky killing Stark and his wife, maybe if he followed his footsteps he might be able to find something.

But he doesn't remember anything about the few movies between the Iron Man movies and Endgame other than Captain America, but it was very foggy in his memory.

But he has a start and that's good enough.

As he went through a few more subjects in his mind, Alfie soon fell back and laid there on the ground with an expressionless face.

The fact that his friends died definitely hurt, ȧssassinated at that? After getting back his strength, Alfie will soon go into a hunt.

He lost his people the moment he decided to hop on that plane, sure he has plans to go back in time, but in the end it won't be the same people rather than his people from a different timeline.

But he knew this is something he had to deal with when he decided to play in this dangerous world.

He had a plan in his head when he crashed with Steve, but seeing that everything was a bit different he might have to follow plan B instead.

Some time later.

It has been weeks and Alfie has spent the rest of his days and nights in a jungle through one of the Sanctums gates.

Alfie was in an area filled with trees, vines and many greens as he sat on a rock with a fire in front of him roasting a bear leg as the legless dead bear lay next to the fire.

His hair grew a bit to be on the level of his nose as it was put into a pony tail while his beard was a bit more thicker than before.

He would have been fully nȧkėd if it wasn't for the tactical camo pants he had on.

He had iron shackles around his wrist and ankles tight enough so that they won't be dangling around when he moves.

Though they don't look heavy as Alfie casually moved roasting the skinned bear leg on the fire.

Behind him was a small speaker continually playing Johnny Cash music as he sang along.

"I fell in to the burning ring of fire

Coming down down down

And flames went higher

And it burned burned burned

The ring of fir…" As Alfie carelessly sang along in the middle of the jungle, a sparkling portal quickly opened and closed as The Ancient One came out of it.

Alfie saw her as he kept singing, but with good hospitality he reached out and tore off a piece of the bear leg with another branch before handing it to her.

She took the stick of bear meat as she sat herself on a log by the fire before she looked around on Alfie's surroundings.

"Does it feel too dramatic?" Alfie asked.

"Not dramatic, but rather old fashioned." She corrected him.

"I guess, but I like it."

"Of course, it could take your mind off troubles."

She took a bite off the meat on the stick and chewed not minding the seasonless taste or the heat from it.

"As we both know, the presence of the fateless will change many things, and that includes you." The Ancient One suddenly stated.

"Hmm? What's this about?"

"You will change soon, you will be turned inside out as the god you worship will change and the people you call friends and family will turn to enemies." She suddenly said casually as she continued biting her food.

Alfie jerked up shocked.

"What the fu- where the hell is this coming from?" Alfie asked, because he has never heard her say anything like this.

Even her sitting down and eating a piece of meat with him was new.

"Are you saying you've seen my future or something?" Alfie asked.

"Well not yours, but others, and your future entangles with others which allowed me to see bits of it." She said.

"Okay well tell me exactly what you saw instead of giving me this riddle bull- bs." Alfie said.

"That's all I can say, I didn't see much." She said as she smiled away eating.

Alfie couldn't help but wonder if she loves to frustrate people with her way of doing things, she enjoyed riddling people with her nonsense.
