Ancient Vampire in a Modern World

Keiji stood up after he altered the contract between Ryle and the Union and he had also contacted Chris to transfer 100 million dollars to Ryle.

He was going to his car but then he saw a grocery store and was quite curious what was in there. He entered it and saw that there were only three people there, one was the cashier and the two were a couple eating ramen and snacks in the corner of the store.

He went towards the shelves and grabbed one of them. He went towards the cashier and paid for it using his credit card. 

He went towards one of the chairs and sat in it then he opened the cylindrical looking shape after opening it he saw that inside of it had a circular and thin looking food. 

He picks one of them as he can smell the aroma of it. He took a bite and crackling sound resounded inside his mouth and he felt the crispness of it, and the taste of the sour and cream flavored seasoning which he found quite delicious.

He finished eating it only after 4 minutes although he exerted a very weird expression every time he took a bite in one of it but he continuously stuffed his mouth with it.

Then again he picked many different foods and paid for it in the cashier and ate it.

After taking a bath Klyzer was now going to enter the Ravaryn world as she wore the tight fitting suit. She entered his room first and picked something inside his bags but then a paper slid towards and fell on the floor.

She picked it up and remembered that it was the receipt of when he paid the bill for Keiji.

She read it before intending to throw it in the trash can but then she saw the total price of it and felt that she had been tricked.

Although she was rich, her allowance is not that high to the point she can spend more than half a million dollars in a single day or week but sometimes there was an exception but it was still a heavy toll on her after all it was half a million dollars.

'I thought he only ordered food for himself, but he was alone though, but what food did he order that made it this expensive.'

She inspected and read the receipt and nodded when she read the first in the list. 

'Lova lobster… this tastes good and also has good nutrients.'

She thought as she read through all the lists in the receipt. 'Is he going to eat this alone… He is quite gluttonous.'

After browsing the receipt she just casually threw it in a nearby trash bin. Then she walked towards a separate room where a capsule was.

She lay towards it as his consciousness transferred to the virtual world.

Meanwhile, Keiji who was still eating different kinds of snacks and in front of him was the table that was almost full of trash and snacks. If not for the staff of that store the thrash may be more than that.

Although that store is not that big but it still had many variety of snacks and drinks that can be found there. Keiji spend almost 4 hours in that place and he have already tasted all of snacks in that store even the drinks was not exempted.

The staff was quite worried because of Keiji's behavior but he was already used to seeing peculiar things which defy common sense that is why he was not that shock at Keiji but he was still shock and worried at Keiji after all Keiji have already eaten so much and drink so much even alcoholic drink was also included.

But he didn't pry to it anymore because it was not his problem after all and he was not losing anything at all, so he just let him be. 

Keiji felt that the sun was almost up so he did not eat more than the last batch of food that he bought instead he buy a big quantity of snacks and he also bought a box of tequila which taste super good.

[[ A/N: I don't know the taste of that though it's just my imagination. And I am still a minor after all. ]]

He drove his car back towards the building where his penthouse is.

He carried all the box in his hands and carried it all the way to his penthouse. It didn't hinder him at all even though it blocked his vision.

He placed all the snacks he bought neatly in the drawer in the kitchen. He also placed the drinks inside the refrigerator.

He didn't enter the virtual world yet and took a sleep instead although he didn't need it at all.

Ryle opened his eyelids because of the sunlight that was trying to penetrate his eyes. He soon found himself in the middle of the plaza and many people stared at him when they passed by. 

'what the hell happened?' He asked his mind but he couldn't find the answer yet.

"F.UC.K" He said after he noticed that the sun was already up.

'I am already late in my work, sh.i.t , sh.i.t, sh.i.t …' He kept cursing in his mind as he kept running towards a certain direction at full speed but then he felt something strange but because of the lack of time he didn't think about it anymore.

He charged full speed towards his work and saw his superior waiting for him at his workplace. 

"Why are you late?" 

"sir -"

He was going to reply but he was cut of by his superrior's word. "Is sleeping really good?"

"I really sorry sir, but I will make sure that this will never happen"

"Hmhp.. go change and change before I demand a breach of contract." He snorted as he felt quite superior to Ryle and he felt that he achieved something.

Ryle changed to his uniform which is a tight fitting blue colored suit before he lay down in one of the capsules and after the lid closed his consciousness immediately transferred to the virtual world.

Ryle found himself in a forest where he left he was currently hunting a lvl 19 Fire Ape.

He moved silently between the trees and tried to search through his surroundings using his blood detection but then he found out that his blood detection ability have improved so he called for his status immediately.

"W.H.A.T" Ryle shouted as he gaped at the sight of his status screen. 

Ryle immediately looked around to see if there was anyone following him when he was sure that no one was following him; he opened his status again and checked everything again.

'Why is the level of all my skills suddenly became this high.' He thought as he tried to search through his memories last night.

Then he remembered what Keiji did before he lost consciousness ' I remember he touched my forehead using his index finger then I lost consciousness.'

'Wait' He suddenly remembered something more 'I know he said more than that' 

He tried hard to remember every detail of what happened last night and a single sentence made him think thoroughly.

'Do you want to be free from the contract' this sentence made him feel grateful, fearful, happy, and curious at the same time.

'Don't tell me he can really interfere with the contract and is he the one who is the cause behind the sudden rise of level on my skill?'

He thought as more and more questions filled his thoughts.
