Another Life As Older Brother

Demeter had gathered her familia in the morning and about to went outside. I also already prepare everyone in my group which for some reason only consist of females

We worked in pairs and stayed in position while watching the movement of Demeter's group. Even Persephone also came with me as a pair to say goodbye.

After that, Demeter got out from Orario smoothly with her familia's privilege that sold crops from their farm to the city. "This is goodbye... Mother." Persephone said after looking at her former familia walked toward a distance and went to us.

"Don't be sad. It's only temporary. Let's go." I said and all of us went back home. At least that's the first plan before everyone stopped by Revis's growling stomach and stopped by to eat.

When we walked back home. We got to see a lot of people pouring out from our yard which made me confuse. "What is happening here?" I asked while looking at the situation.

"Hmm? Did your brother not told you yet?" Ryuu said while looking at me. "No, I slept earlier before meeting him." I said while everyone that walking out from the mansion, froze at their feet.

"Hestia-sama decided to recruit members. She posted the announcement 2 days ago." Revis said while eating her potato snack.

"All of you knew about this?" I asked them which made them nodded. Even Persephone knew about it.

"So... Everyone got declined by her?" I said while looking at this many people standing in front of me. "I don't know." Ryuu said to me.

"Oi.. you.." I said calling someone that walked to me in a hurry. "Ye.. Yes?" He said in a hurry. "Have you got rejected by that Goddess?" I said while pointing toward Hestia that frozen while holding a piece of paper.

"N... No... We about to leave on our own." He said while being scared. "I see.. Alrig.." I'm about to let him leave before someone started yelling at me. "Just let us go!! Even if you're strong, we still have our right to leave. Let him go already." A dwarf said while crossing his arms which made me irritated now.

I look at him with an annoyed face and a tick mark. "Right... Leave... I don't need people like you either." I said while holding my smile. "Ha!? Need us? Isn't that the other way around? 200 million valis as debt. Your familia sure talked big." An elf said while looking proudly.

"200 million valis?" I asked while tilting my head and think for a while. "Ah! So, you guys leave because of that? I see.. I see... Leave then." I said while walking toward the crowd with my group.

Then I looked at Cassandra and Daphne also about to leave. "I see.. So, both of you also. Looked like your dream couldn't tell you everything." I said while shaking my head in disappointment.

"I.. I'm sorry." Cassandra said with her hands tied together. "It's okay, I get it. No one wanted to be chased by debts. Especially when they about to join." I said without even looking at them anymore.

After passing the gate, none of us looked back to the people outside but instead toward the people inside. Still a few people left, which only consists of 2 people.

"Shakti... So, everything is done?" I said after looking at her. She quickly turned around and hug me after hearing my voice. "Also, why are you here, Anna?" I said with a surprise that some normal girl decided to join a familia to become an adventurer.

"I.. uumm.. I want to follow you, Ageas-san." She said shyly with her face turned red while pointing at me. My surprised face quickly was gone and I smile at her "You better prepare. The world is hard by becoming an adventurer." I said and she nodded "Yes!".

"Ah, and another thing. Hestia-sama!!" I called Hestia that just turned around and looked at the empty yard. "Take this to pay Hephaestus." I said while pouring out valis at once which made some of the people outside looked inside but what they saw is me with a smirk looking at them.

By adding salt to the wound. Goibniu came at the right time. "Move... Do you think there's a show to watch or something?" He said toward the crowd of people.

After seeing Goibniu, I walked close to the gate. "Ah, Goibniu-sama. Is there something I could help?" I asked him which made him looked at me with a smile. "Thank you, boy. I'm just here to give you some extra money that you gave. Here's about 150 million. We had done making your place." Goibniu said before saying goodbye.

After that, another one is coming. This time it's Tsubaki with her familia. "Ah... Tsubaki-san.. What is it that brings you here?" I asked her.

"I just want to deliver some of the money to you. Alright, boys. Move it." Tsubaki said which order her man to bring the money in. "Please... This way." I said while opening the gate politely for my act. Of course not forget leaving one last look at the people that decided not to join my familia.

I knew it's kinda mean for them and I totally get it why they decided not to join. No one wanted to start in the red anyway, but I just couldn't help it but sneer at them for looking down on us.

After that, I went inside again and found Bell lay down on the ground. I looked at Welf "What is he doing?" I said while pointing at him. "I don't know." Welf just said casually.

"Other than that, Hestia-sama. You really are troublesome." I said to Hestia with a smile. She puffed her cheek "If you had the money, you should tell me earlier, Ageas-kun.".

"But, Ageas-dono. Just how much money do you have?" Mikoto asked while looking at the gold. "Aaahh... I'm sorry for asking something like that, Ageas-dono." Mikoto quickly said in shame.

"Hahaha... It's fine but I actually forgot to count again. If you need anything just tell me. I will help as much as I could." I said and went inside the mansion.
