Asgardian Sword God

Though Vali could slay several hundreds of the normal dark elves, this is not the case for most of the warriors.

Even after Vali had killed a numerous amount of the normal dark elves equipped with the particle rifle, with the existence of several crafts bombarding the Asgardian and Nidavellir warriors, in fact, the two sides are still at a stalemate. His killing did not affect the course of the battle.

Not only that, Vali saw that most of the dark elves further in the middle of their formation possesses a peculiar ability.

While they are still equipped with a particle rifle, most of them could shoot energy beams without the help of those guns. And some of them could turn their body into a dark mist like Vali's logia body.

Seeing this, Vali obtains one more reason why the Asgardian warriors are using melee weapons. He notices that the iron in the weapons seems to be able to injure those elves that turned into mist. But still, only that is not enough to turn the tide.

As Vali saw that the warriors that are battling the dark elves are struggling to fight with no hope of killing them, he immediately flies towards those warriors since he had killed most of the normal warriors on his side.

Pchew!

Noticing the flying Vali, the dark elves pointed their guns upwards at the direction of Vali and immediately open fire at Vali.

Vali activated his Haoshoku Haki then quickly slash out wind blades and send his energy blades to the dark elves that are firing at him.

As the attack injured the dark elves, it also sends a cloud of dust and envelope the dark elves.

" Retreat and clear the area. " said Vali to the Asgardian warriors.

As Vali said this, instead of running, the warriors stare at Vali who is floating in the air.

" I said clear the area! " Vali said as he merges his Haki and aura to be more intimidating. He did not want the warriors to die as collateral damage.

Hearing this, the warriors immediately left the place.

Before the dust could clear, from inside suddenly leapt out 5 beings. These beings possess traits similar to the dark elves except that they are all hulked out and glowing in red.

" Kursed. " Vali muttered under his breath.

Immediately forming 10 greatswords merged with his icy flame powers behind him, Vali quickly aims at the Kursed warriors and releases the swords.

Squish!

The sword pierces the body of the Kursed. Right as the swords hit each one of them, they begin to burn

Still, just the swords are not enough to stop these Kursed warriors. They are without any form of rationality. They could not perceive any kind of pain. Until they or their target is destroyed, the Kursed will persist.

Seeing the Kursed are continuing their path towards him, Vali, in an instant, activated all of his defensive skills. He created an energy barrier around his body and coated himself with his Bushoshoku Haki.

Most importantly, Vali quickly changes the shape of his sword into a buster sword. Something similar to the size of the Kursed.

Boom!

Two of the Kursed are sent flying back as Vali swings his sword at the Kursed.

But, the three remaining Kursed quickly rain down punches on the energy barrier enveloping Vali.

Bam!

In a flash, Vali is sent down towards the ground.

A crater forms on the ground that Vali landed on.

Before Vali could regain his ground, the Kursed, without even giving Vali a moment to breathe followed suit.

The three Kursed immediately attack Vali. They all sent out a punch at Vali. With the enormous strength of the Kursed, Vali is sent flying once more.

Luckily, Vali formed an energy barrier around him. But this barrier quickly cracks and vanish as soon as the punches of the Kursed connect with it.

Vali knew that if he did not activate all of his defensive skills, even with his passive regenerative capabilities, he could possibly turn into a meat paste.

Knowing that he could possibly die here, Vali's heart pounded in his c.h.e.s.t.

As Vali is sent flying, he sends another 10 flaming swords at the Kursed while he quickly stuck his buster sword on the ground to stop the momentum.

Following the swords, two Asgardian warriors rushed at the Kursed.

After sliding for about a meter, Vali finally came to a stop.

Then, Vali quickly jumps back into the fray and join the fight. And not only Vali, the two Kursed that are sent flying back previously had returned.

" Don't let the flame touch you! " Vail said to the two as Asgardian warriors.

" Why? " replied the two warriors.

" You two want to burn to death? " shouted Vali.

" No! " replied the two warriors.

" Then don't let the flame touch you. " said Vali.

These two warriors are Vitra and General Kriger.

Even though Vali is speaking to General Kriger, due to the heat of the battle, Vali did not bother about etiquette at all.

Though Vali could extinguish the icy flame enveloping the Kursed, noticing that the Kursed are gradually burning away and since Vitra and Kriger uses a weapon that could reach far. Vali could not risk removing the weakening effect that flame puts on the Kursed due to the enormous strength of the Kursed.

In this fight, Vali took on two Kursed while Vitra fights one and Kriger two.

As the three fight the 5 Kursed warriors, the flame enveloping the Kursed warriors gradually burns the Kursed. If they are normal humans, due to the intensity of the heat and coldness of the flame, they would have dropped dead within seconds. But, as they are a Kursed Warrior, who lost all their senses plus with all of their physical abilities including their natural regenerative abilities boosted, the icy flame could not the Kursed immediately.

And after about 5 minutes since Vitra and Kriger joins the fight, due to the flame, the last of the 5 Kursed finally fell to the ground.

The three of them are panting and breathing heavily due to extreme exhaustion. Even General Kriger, though his strength could match one of the Kursed but him fighting two of them at once put a lot of stress on his body.

" You royals are absurd and crazy. Fighting those things by yourself. " said Vitra as he laughed out. He could barely fight with just one, while Vali fought with 5 for a while without being killed.

Vali just smirks at Vitra, he did not want to waste any more of his strength. Right now, Vali could barely stand and needed the support of his sword.

Hearing what Vitra said, Kriger immediately turns to Vali and say, " So, you are Vali. You did not disappoint. "

" Thank you for the compliment General. " said Vali as he kept on on panting.

" Meet me when the battle is over. " said General Kriger.

" Okay. " saying this Vali notices something.

A dagger inscribed with several runes is flying towards Vali right at this moment.

Trying to block the attack with his sword, Vali found out that he did not have the strength to completely lift it up and block it.

The dagger that is sent towards him came from amongst the Asgardian warriors.

He is fighting for them so that they could live. Yet, this how he is repaid. Vali is extremely angered at the moment.

Since he could not lift his sword to immediately block it, Vali glared at the incoming dagger and sent an aura full of killing intent from his body.

As Vali glared at the dagger, it immediately stopped in it's path, floating in the air about a meter away from Vali.
