Gu Yue's violet eyes reflecting off the moonlight, Tang Xingxi stared at her, ingraining the sight into his memory. She looked absolutely stunning. She was wearing a light purple one-piece dress and nothing else. Her petite hands by her side and her black stunning hair gracefully cascading down her back, she looked like a goddess. Though, of course, things never last.

Seeing Tang Xingxi open his eyes, Gu Yue realized he was awake. Gazing at his beautiful eyes, Gu Yue fell into a trance. 'Snap out of it Gu Yue! You're here to make him teach you what he did to Xu Xiaoyan!' Slapping her cheeks twice, Gu Yue turned around and started to pout.

"Hmph! Powering up someone else before me and making them hella strong. Meanie!" Trying to take the lead in the conversation here, Gu Yue didn't realize that her words didn't reach the ears of Tang Xingxi who was still lamenting the fact that Gu Yue didn't stay still for just a few more moments.

Seeing her antics, Tang Xingxi chuckled slightly thinking, 'Hmm, tsundere now huh?'

"You look stunning today," Tang Xingxi said, voicing out his genuine thoughts.

"H-huh?"

Seeing a puff of smoke coming out of Gu Yue's ears, Tang Xingxi blamed it on his imagination. Grabbing her waist, Tang Xingxi lifter Gu Yue up and threw the sheets up. Gu Yue landing softly as his side, the blanket slowly drifter over the couple. Lying down on the bed, the two of them lay side by side, a huge blush visible on Gu Yue's face.

"So, it is business, or p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e tonight?" Tang Xingxi's eyes locked with Gu Yue's, a pure sincerity behind them.

A reserved and cute voice echoed out beneath his c.h.e.s.t, "Business." Gu Yue had already stuffed her head in Tang Xingxi's c.h.e.s.t to hide her embarrassing blush.

"Alright," Tang Xingxi replied. Gently cupping Gu Yue's face, Tang Xingxi brought his face to hers. Both of their eyes seemed to glow as only the subtle breaths shared by the two could be heard. Bringing his forehead to hers, Tang Xingxi brought Gu Yue into his spirit sea.

An odd twisting feeling filled their bodies as they appeared in the middle of the sea along with the bed. Lifting the sheets, Tang Xingxi took Gu Yue in a bridal carry and got up. Seeing the bed behind them disappear, Tang Xingxi put Gu Yue down.

"So, what business do you want to discuss?"

"Umm, how I can increase the power of my elements?" Gu Yue replied, her fingers tapping each other as if she was nervous.

"Alright then," Tang Xingxi said as he materialized two chairs for them to sit on. Sitting in his seat, Tang Xingxi materialized a table with some refreshments and started drinking a cup of coffee.

Gu Yue sat down on her seat, grabbed a doughnut from the table and started cutely munching on it. Her petite hands were carefully holding the bottom of the doughnut and slowly pushing it up to her face. Taking small bites, her violet eyes exuded absolute focus and Tang Xingxi saw she was revelling in this new snack.

"Pfffffft!" Looking at her for a moment, Tang Xingxi spit out the coffee in his mouth and said, "Are you supposed to be a hamster or something?"

Gu Yue stopped eating the doughnut but didn't move her hands. Looking at Tang Xingxi, Gu Yue pulled off the best hamster impression she could.

"Hahahahahaha!" Tang Xingxi couldn't hold back his laughter any longer. Gu Yue also couldn't keep the act up anymore and chuckled softly.

Gu Yue held the doughnut normally this time as Tang Xingxi started telling her about how to increase control.

<------Sometime Later------>

"C-can you repeat that again? I don't think I got it." Gu Yue was, confused, to put it mildly. Tang Xingxi talked about the individual characteristics and derivatives of each element. Gu Yue was able to understand them slightly and would have to come and think about them later. However, when he started going on about elemental nature, to concepts, and then to laws, she lost it and just nodded her head, her brain, malfunctioning from the oversaturation of knowledge.

"Alright. Well, I think I can see smoke coming out of your head, so basically, just understand everything you can about the elements you want to control first on a scientific level, then onto a spiritual, then fusing them." 'Is she okay?' Tang Xingxi thought as he tilted his head to the side.

"Ugh. I think I'm already brain dead. But basically, understand the nature of the element you wish to progress further into right?" Gu Yue said.

"Yup," Tang Xingxi replied.

"Alright." Getting into a meditative position on the floor, Gu Yue started concentrating. She has been in contact with all the elements around her, and still, has not even thought of why or how the elements are the way they are.

'I see…I have already known the nature of these elements. They practically jump in joy and move at my beckoning. I just didn't think of comprehending them. I just used what I instinctually thought was right.

Water. It is gentle, fluid, flowing. It can be shaped at will, and always accepts. It can be of many forms. It is clean and pure, it can also pressurize. It is the most malleable thing in existence.

Fire. Hot, searing, burning, peaceful. It has many meanings. Destruction, power, life, rebirth and many more. It is also pure, and it destroys. It is the thing which burns all in its path. It is merciless and strong. It ignites the spark of hope and power and symbolizes stability whilst juxtaposing the flickering of its light.

Earth. Tough, strong, reliable. It is the ground beneath our feet, it is what allows for the bounty of life. It is the strongest element and most stable thing. Directly, without force, it isn't very strong, but through its power and stability, therein lies it's own strength.

Wind. Free, liberating, active. It is the free-flowing part of the world. Wind moves quickly, it moves everywhere, it carries everything, it creates clouds, it moves everything around.

Light. It allows us to see the world before us and also represents purity, holiness, heat. Light exists, it is essential.

Darkness. Just as light is essential, darkness is too. Without light and dark, evil and good, the world would be stale, and nothing would be recognizable.

Space. Turbulent, Unrelenting, a variable, space is unventured and unknown, yet known. Space is that which exists, yet is impossible to understand completely. There is space between everything.

Then deriving to a single sub-concept between elements, there are many different versions with many different meanings…I see. Now it makes sense…'

Opening her eyes, Gu Yue found herself still in the same place she sat at. However, looking at the table, there was already a mountain full of plates. Standing up, she found that some black-coloured crumbling substance fell off her skin. Looking around, Gu Yue found Tang Xingxi nowhere to be seen.

"Tang Xingxi! Where are you!?" Gu Yue shouted.

A few seconds later, Tang Xingxi appeared in pyjamas whilst floating.. There were earphones over his head, and he seemed to be focused on a soul-screen? Looking at his hands, there was a device with many buttons and sticks which he seemed to be moving quite frequently. Every movement on the controller was also accompanied by the movement of a figure on the screen.

About to ask what was going on, Gu Yue was interrupted by an elated Tang Xingxi who screamed, "Yeeesssss!" as he threw the device on the ground. On the screen, there were also the words, "Victory" in gold.

Taking off his earphones, Tang Xingxi floated down to the ground. His feet touching down on the ground, all of the devices and plates disappeared in a flash of blue light.

Looking at Gu Yue with a happy face, Tang Xingxi said, "Hello! Welcome back! It's been 400,000 years or 4 hours outside."

"Hah? What the hell! I've been stuck like that for 400,000 years and you didn't do anything! ANYTHING TO HELP ME! You couldn't even clean me up! …(ramble ramble ramble ramble)…" Covering his ears to avoid the rant of his girlfriend, Tang Xingxi shouted back, "I couldn't help you! You were stuck in a state of comprehension! Also, the dirt is the impurities of your soul bein forced out!"

"Baka! Baka! Baka!" 'Huh!? Since when did she learn Japanese!? No, that's just my imagination then.'

<-------100,000 later------->

"Hah, hah, hah."

Seeing Gu Yue stop talking for a bit, Tang Xingxi spoke, "Um, so, have you calmed down yet?"

The sincere look in his eyes shaking her, Gu Yue realized what she just did. Her face flushed red as she tried finding any way she could to hide from Tang Xingxi forgetting the fact that he knew everything going on inside of his soul a.k.a. where she currently was.

<-------50,000 years later of comforting a once angry Gu Yue------->

"It's okay, it's okay, it's okay." Tang Xingxi was dead tired from dealing with his girlfriend. 'Well, at least I looked through those love advice books for the greater part of those 400,000 years.'

Looking at his beautiful girlfriend, Tang Xingxi said, "Gu Yue, how about you show me what you have been able to accomplish so far."

"Mh," was what she replied before moving away from Tang Xingxi's hug.

One second into her display, Tang Xingxi was already shouting in his mind, 'What the f.u.c.k! She already got down to the concepts! She even applied it to everything I taught her! Good girl!'

In front of him, Gu Yue put up a perfect battle form with her powers. Finding the balance between fire and ice, Gu Yue covered the ground in ice and made it snow, while blazing fires were strewn across the field, not diminishing the power of the cold even by a little bit. Wind blew rapidly around her in very unpredictable ways. Thunder sprang from clouds above her. Light seemed to dance along the field as other spots sometimes became devoid of light. The earth was in an odd position. Seemingly stable, yet able to move at any time, wisps of debris moved around the air.

Her stance was very fluid but could transform into that of liberating and free like air, undefeatable like flame, or uncompromising like earth.

Releasing control of the field, it soon became back to normal. "So, how did I do?" An expectant smile on her face, Tang Xingxi laughed before replying, "Great! Excellent! Better than I thought!"

Gu Yue was smiles all around. She was about to ask for another romp, before hearing Tang Xingxi's words, "By the way, it's already about 5 in the morning, so I think you should go."

"Oh. Ok then." Taking the both of them out of his space, Tang Xingxi and Gu Yue opened their eyes.

With a downcast expression, Gu Yue got out of the bed and said, "See you later," before moving to the window.

Seeing her expression, Tang Xingxi walked over and kissed her. Melting into his embrace, Gu Yue's mood was lifted.

Smiling at him, Gu Yue leaned on the edge of the window and smiled. No words needed to be said as she leaned over the windowsill and fell into a portal.
