Awakened: Evolving to Godhood

Chapter 167: The greatest conspiracy! (A)

Elliot said in an imposing and commanding voice, so imposing they that found it hard to refuse him. After taking a few steps, they reached him, standing next to him in silence and wondering about the reason he had called for them.

However, He said nothing and continued to draft new magic contracts, doing every methodically. To date, he had written more than a thousand magic contracts, many with terms similar to each other, but a little too many indeed. Thanks to all the hard work he had put in this craft, he had ended up becoming as proficient as a rich modern-day merchant in writing terms beneficial to himself. Elliot smiled. It started as his professional, but now it has become his hobby and also his new way of having fun.

Lucy and her teammates silently looked at him, their eyes filled with such shock that they threatened to pop out of their sockets.

The amount of magic contact in his possession left them speechless. Each was worth a hundred thousand, but he had already shown them more than a dozen! Just how rich was he? Is he some kind of tycoon, a prodigal son of a rich merchant, or a person backed by a powerhouse? Even the head of their family had never used so many magic contracts in a single day.

Of course, they didn't know that it was all his wealth, one he worked hard to build.

"Umm, why had you called for us?" After some minutes, unable to remain patient, Sean asked in a low voice. It was a bit funny. He was a big man, both in height and muscles, but in front of Elliot, he wasn't even able to raise his voice.

He was expecting a response from Elliot, but he only earned a scolding.

"And don't forget to add master when addressing me."

After giving him an earful, Elliot explained the most important aspect of their master and servant relationship.

"Do you understand?!"

"Yes, master! I understand." The burly guy with muscles for the brain nodded his head, appearing meek and unharmful.

"That's good because the faster you learn to live by my rules, the better it would be for you, all of you."

While saying these words, he looked at each of them to see their reaction, something that would allow him to signal out the rebellious ones among them. Among the nine, Julian seemed to be the one with the worst personality. She resembled a two-faced bitch. Then there were the twins and Jay. Although they conceded to him terms and accepted him as their master, they weren't fine with it. They will backstab him the moment they get a chance, he noted, before characterizing Sean and Tia. From the look on their face and in their eyes—the window to the say, they say—it seemed like they had no intention of going against him. They appeared to be the least troublesome among the bunch.

After noting down the names of the troublemakers in his mind, he said, "Now, hand over your magic contracts."

He needed to secure the contracts; that was the most important thing he needed to do right now.

"Yes, master."

One by one, they handed over their magic contracts to him, and he stored them in the vault he considered the safest place to store stuff—his subspace.

Elliot once again buried himself in writing rules on magic contracts. Who knows when they might come in handy. Seeing him so engrossed in his work that he wouldn't notice the things happening in his surroundings, Julian nudged closer to Lucy and whispered some words in her ears. Her words held only one intention, and that was to push her towards the flame. She wanted her to take a stand for them and tell Elliot o set them free! One could even see a pitiful expression on her face as she whispered those words. Once she finished all she had to say, she moved away and back to her little cousin, leaving Lucy up to her own devices.

Lucy wanted to say something, but she had only opened her mouth when Elliot's voice sounded in her ears. "If you want to beg for mercy for her, then don't. I won't give up on what's mine, no matter how much you plead me to set them free."

Lucy's eyes widened, taking the shape of full plates! Did he just read her mind? Otherwise, how could he say the words that were just about to come out of her mouth? "How did you found out what I was thinking?!"

He pointed at her, more exactly, her pretty face, and said, "because of that."

"Is there something wrong with my face?"

"Huh?"

After saying that, Elliot moved his gaze towards Julian and Tia. "And you two," he had only said these three words when both of them started trembling unconsciously, fear brimming their entire vessel. Not only was the night cold, but the fear in their heart amplified their helplessness. Also, because they were wet between and along their thighs, the night cold felt extremely chilly. "Go away, clean yourselves, and change your wet pants."

His words struck their hearts like arrows, causing them extreme levels of embarrassment. Their faces fumed, turning redder than an apple. Though, they did want to take off their sticky panties and clean themselves. Not in front of the others, though, as they were modest ladies in their twenties, not whores who would strip naked in front of men. However, they were afraid to wander away from the group, especially in this darkness.

"Umm," Tia wanted to say something, but she broke down before she saying even a single word. It looks like she was exceptionally weak of the heart and feared Elliot over the norms. Meanwhile, Julian said not a word. God knows what was going on in her mind. Maybe she wanted others to speak up for her and her cousin and take the burnt for talking back to their master?

The two knights in shining armor, Oliver and Arthur, stood up from them just as she expected. She knew that men would be men, that they would take a stance for pretty girls like her and her cousin. Thus, she didn't need to do a thing to help herself as others will do it for her. Besides, she didn't want to do anything as that might further stain her relation with Elliot. What an insidious and cunning woman!

"I know, so you may shut up."

Only a few words had left their mouths when Elliot stopped them.

He didn't need words to understand the dilemma of the two girls that had pissed themselves out of fear.

To solve their problems, he just snapped his fingers, and lamps manifested before their eyes. He waved his hands, causing them to float over to Julian and Tia. His powers seemed closer to magic, one that was far superior to their supernatural powers, the ones looking at him thought.

"Use them as you like," he said as they grabbed their respective lamps into their hands and felt their warmth embracing their cold, trembling hands.

"Thank you, master."

"We can make do with these lamps."

The ladies excused themselves and began to step away from the group to go to a vacant place to clean the suspicious fluid in between their legs and change their soiled panties.

"I will accompany them." Worried that they might face one or two loose monsters, Julian decided to stand guard for her.

"Do as you wish."

Elliot didn't want anything happening to her, not until he safely guide her back to her sister. But he knew that she was a hard-headed woman who wouldn't let Julian and Tia go away on their own. Left with no choice, he decided to send one of his powerful slaves to escort them.

"Mandrake, stop slacking off and go with them."

The horrifying mandrake pushed its face out of the grasses and resilient weeds before looking at him with bright eyes, "Master, I wasn't slacking off! I was just practicing and perfecting how to grovel at your feet."

"Cut the crap and do as you are told."

"As you command, master!"

His monstrous slave also went away to accompany the three ladies from powerful magician families. They were beautiful, gorgeous in some ways. Also, they belonged to the upper society. Men wanting to climb the social ladder and also the ones wanting a beautiful woman as their bride would no doubt ladies men of their era would love to serve, love to kiss their feet, love to worship them as their goddess. Not Elliot, though, as he didn't fall in these two categories of men.

Elliot stopped what he was doing, placed the ink and the contracts—finished and unfinished—back into the place they once were, and then looked towards his slaves, all men. "Tell me about what you've encountered till so far in this place, every single detail."

"It's a long story." Oliver Charlotte said.

"I'm all ears," Elliot replied.
