Awakened: Evolving to Godhood

Chapter 194: Elliot's New inspiration!

An overwhelming current swept across Elliot's body, coming to a halt behind his back and converging into some kind of tattoo. Piercing and searing pain rose on his back; however, his expression remained unchanged. A pain that could cause a fully grown man to cry failed to make him even flinch. At the moment, his bright eyes reflected a dark swirling current, signifying that he was lost in extreme thoughts and thinking about something rapidly.

"Ahahahahah!"

A few moments after the barrier shattered apart, the second thing that happened was that Elliot started laughing crazily. Joy and madness filled his roaring laugher, startling Grace and the others.

"What's wrong? What made you so happy?"

"Nothing, I just had an Epiphany," Elliot replied, his voice filled with the freshness of spring and the sweetness of peaches.

Yes, he had come to terms with the truth of the world—his reality.

The world was crazy. Demonic Humans that shouldn't have gotten power had got their hands on it, causing the world to rot from the inside, and it was slowly making its way to the outside, which would end in destruction. At the same time, righteous magicians who should be waging a whole-out war against such bastards were chilling in their zones.

In truth, he knew that they were both bastards, fighting not for the sake of what they promised as they came into being, not for what's right and what's wrong, but solely for benefits. Just like instructor Leonardo said, personal grievances and saving the race wasn't the goal of a magician—it was only benefits.

While they were busy chasing after it to fulfill their greed, others suffer in silence. Even if they try to voice out their thoughts, not many are there to listen. It's because they are powerless, and thus, their lives, cries, and pain don't matter. So, their deaths remain unjustified.

Elliot believed that the association and the community always turn a blind eye to every atrocity as long as it doesn't disturb their benefits.

Such a world needed to undergo destruction and recreation. Someone has to put an end to the Magician community and association along with the cults and the terrorist organizations.

Elliot decided to take up that role—the position of a revolutionary—as he believed that he had the potential to become a tyrant that would be able to suppress every opposition.

'For that, I must become the king of crazies! Only then will I be able to stand at the helm of this world, at the peak of the magician world. Only then will I be able to put my plan into play and destroy everything to create a perfect world, a place to my taste.'

And so, the seed of the Earth Federation came to be.

Elliot decided to destroy what he disliked, and that was the current rule and the trend of the world. One can even take the magician association as the sole governing body in both of the planets. What he was planning to do was ridiculous and needed an unbelievable level of strength.

He needed to become strong and also needed equally strong loyal knights, who would cross the rivers of flames for him.

"Come forth, my army of the undead!"

Elliot summoned his undead companions, telling them to feasts on the corrupted bodies of the serpentine devils.

They did just that and started gnawing on their flesh, skin, and bones.

Their sudden appearance and ferocious actions startled the five beasts around Elliot.

"What are these things?" Grace felt a bit disturbed because she could tell that they weren't alive, but death yet still moving. Although disturbed, Grace put away her disgust and accepted them for what they were because they were Elliot's servants. The four guardians couldn't put their heads around them, but they also didn't do anything against them.

"My friends and family."

Elliot explained everything about the undead to Grace and the other beasts, all the while having a sweet smile on his face.

[Undead Slave E had reached level 2 of the demonic realm]

[Kayn had reached level 6 of the demonic realm]

"All humans are useful resources; someone said that right," Elliot said with a sly smile and recalled his undead companions.

"What are you guys still doing here?"

Elliot was irritated to see that Lucy, Oliver, and the other humans he had saved were still in the nightmare zone. Is it that none of them understand the severity of the situation? They were in a war, meaning every second counts. They would have gone out of this place and notified the officials and the full-fledged magicians of the chaotic situation already if they had a little bit of consideration and a bit of intelligence.

Elliot scolded them, causing their head to lower down in shame, and he ordered them to hurry up, go outside and notify the magicians about the plot of the serpentine devils, do as he said.

His slaves left as they couldn't refuse his orders. Otherwise, they would die on the spot. They took out their Return scroll. Immediately after, they tore it apart. An uncountable number of lights appeared around them, stretching into magical symbols that surrounded their bodies from all sides. They were extremely bright and caused their body to shine. The shine intensified, when all of a sudden, their bodies disappeared.

Elliot believed that with them outside to inform the world of the dread happening in this place, even if the association doesn't make a move, the party involved will give it their 200% to destroy the barrier to enter the settlement.

"Are you guys not leaving?"

Surprisingly, Lucy, Oliver, and Arthur were still here, seemingly having no intention of taking their leaves.

"I want to fight with you," Lucy said.

"It isn't just your duty to go against the forces of evil! We, too, had vowed to help the world when he took on the mantle of the magic knights.

"Allow us to assist you too."
