"Let's go and slay that disgusting spider!"

Seeing that the last Guardian of the Queen was dead, Freya came out of her hiding spot and rushed towards the gates to open them.

However, golden tides rose from under her feet and spiraled around her, restraining her from advancing further.

It was Elliot who had immobilized her.

"You'll be staying here," Elliot said to Freya; his voice, although calm, sounded more like an unchangeable command to her.

"Why?" She asked.

"What we are about to do next isn't suitable for someone like you to become a part of as you're only a magic lord. You'll be a dead weight to us, a weakness she can exploit to blackmail us." Elliot said, meeting Freya's eyes with an overwhelmingly oppressive look.

His gaze and words left her with no ability to resist, and the words about to come out of her mouth rolled back down her throat.

They were about to slay a demonic god, a middle-ranked one, which was an act not only hazardous but also one in which only Magic Emperors and the Sublime ones should participate. The spider Queen was on their level, and who knows what tricks she had under her sleeves. Although they didn't fear the Spider Queen, they weren't confident about protecting Freya if she decided to take the weakest amongst them out first. Freya was only a Magic Lord and had no strength to defy or fight back against a demonic god. Thus, she had to stay back.

"After dealing with her, you won't suddenly disappear, right?"

For a while, Freya had felt that he would magically vanish into thin air as soon as he finished what he came here for, and that thought made her sick to the stomach and twisted her heart. For reasons too many, she didn't want to part with him and wanted to get to know him better, get close to him. Freya met his gaze and asked what most worried her. With just a glance at her, Elliot understood what she was worrying about and chuckled. He casually pulled out the eighth of his several rings and tossed it to the lady. "A bosom friend gifted it to me, hoping that it would accompany me across the world in his stead. Keep it with you. I'll quickly return to fetch it back."

Back when he was in the imaginary world, his master and each of the Lords had given him a gift. The ring was gifted to him by the Wine Lord. It had the power to brew and store wine and use it to protect its owner and slay the enemies of its owners. As long as it was with Freya, Elliot didn't fear her leaving here by herself. After all, none, except for a demonic god, would be able to take her hostage.

"Alright, I understand." Elliot saw the black elf obediently wearing it on the fourth finger of her left hand and placing her butt on a tree stump to wait for him. Suddenly, she teased him, "You must return quickly, or I will run away with it."

There was a pretty smile on her face.

Obviously, she was happy to have received this ring.

<br/>Elliot didn't look too deeply into her actions. He thought she probably didn't know what wearing the ring on the ring finger symbolized. If she knew, she would've definitely not done that.

"You can try, but it will be futile."

After giving a warm warning to Freya, Elliot raised his hand and placed it on the gates. A tremendous amount of divine energy instantly burst out of his palm and smashed on the big black doors with eighteen legs, sending them flying straight to the throne on the middle of a raised platform.

On the throne sat a black vixen. She was barely wearing any clothes. Only a few strips covered her, hiding her nipples and private areas. The rest of her was exposed. She was biting into the flesh of the creature she had just finished mating with, eating a huge chunk of its muscles one bit at a time. Suddenly, she grabbed its wrist and flung it towards the doors, bouncing them back.

Her mate's corpse dropped before someone's feet. He looked down, saw suspicious fluids on its body, ad realized what was happening.

"If it were someone else, I would've apologized to them for disturbing their fun time, but since it's you, I only want to tear you limb by limb and give you the death you deserve."

The man's words, full of disdain, got on the nerve of the sexy black woman. She lowered her eyes to glare daggers at him but saw him looking at her in fascination while licking his lips and mumbling the names of several spices that makes disgusting meat taste good.

"After killing you, I will put your limbs in my cauldron and make a broth out of them. I'm sure it would taste good as you look good!"

No one was concerned with whether Elliot was joking or not. Though, His words truly sickened an old-ass Karen pretending to be a young doll to the guts. A vein jumped on the head of the spider queen. She gritted her teeth and lowered her eyes before smiling and saying to Elliot, "You lack manners. I guess it's because the damned Serpent killed your parent when you were young."

Elliot huffed as if she had succeeded in annoying him. He had guessed before that the demonic god was behind the death of his parents and countless others who had mysteriously gone missing on the trial grounds of an ancient civilization. He had often thought about the destruction he would cause if he got proof to back up his claim. Now, the dumb bitch has given it to him.

Endless wrath entered Elliot's empty heart, and a smile that was so not a smile emerged on his face that showed a twisted expression that was a mixture between positivity, negativity, and endless sadistic tendencies.

The Spider Queen smiled in satisfaction after seeing the expression on his face. "From which shit hole did you crawl out of to look so menacing while smiling?!"

With a mysterious smile on her face, the spider queen stood up and began descending the platform.

Elliot retained his emotions, and two cold glints flashed in his eyes as he said, "The one I'll help you enter."

As if his word was a cue, the main in the shadow made his move!

Whoosh!

A man in the shadow unsheathed his terrifying weapon and raised his eyes. Endless rays of brilliant black lights edged towards her throat, threatening to behead her. The danger appeared an inch away from her so suddenly that she should die. Elliot didn't even consider the possibility of her surviving this attack made by a Beyond Emperor. Zerrick hadn't made many moves, but each time he did, he succeeded in impressing Elliot. Elliot didn't doubt that her head would soon roll on the ground. However, Zerrick's assassination attempt at her life failed!

The hazy moonlight passed through the window panels behind the platform and scattered on the Queen's figure. Sixteen Black spider legs protruded from her human-like legs and arms, colliding with the threads of sharpness, causing them to fail in achieving their goal!

She reacted so fast as if she knew it was going to happen and also knew when it would happen!

"Impossible! She's just a demonic god. Reacting to my sneak attack shouldn't be possible for her. So how did you dodge it?" Zerrick mumbled to himself before his pupils widened in realization, and he stared at her. "You can peek into the future?"

The smile that blossomed on her face confirmed his guess!
