Chapter 20 - Ch.20: New Journey Await

"With that, my report comes to the end." (Ray)

Right now I am in the guild. There is no one here except me, Lily and Zack. It's so lucky to meet Zack here today. After the invasion last night, the citizen evacuated themself with help of 'protector' squad. Until now, only that squad who came back here for checking the situation.

"To think demon included to this matter." (Zack)

His face has been serious when I started to talk with him.

"Quite unexpected, right? It is impossible for demon came here without any contract. But neither of us can do anything for it. " (Ray)

And for me, I just enjoy this talk with a smile.

"We can't do any investigation since the guild has no authority for that."

He put his chin on his hand and closed his eyes. He is more serious than I expected.

"Then let it be since that doesn't concern us at all. Maybe someone from the royal family will make an order to investigate about it soon. All we have to do are do our routinities like a normal day." (Ray)

I stand up from the chair and take a step to leave the guild.

"Why are you so sure about it?" (Zack)

I continue my walk and just waving a hand to him.

"Just watch it okay. Soon he will get what he deserves." (Ray)

I take a glance a bit to behind and look at Lily bowing her head as an apology for my attitude. It's around noon but I already heading to the inn. Last night, I can't sleep properly since the forest has much bug and it sound around me was disturbing. This morning I intend to have a good sleep but was disturbed by Lily and Vi. Fortunately, I got something that can satisfy me.

"Hey Lily, just go somewhere or do anything you want. I do not want anyone disturb my sleep now." (Ray)

She nodded and leave me alone. I headed to the room I rent and immediately jumped on the bed and close my eyes. Finally, I have a good sleep now.

When I open my eyes, the sun already set and the sky has turn to dark, it's already late though. I look around and found Lily has fallen asleep and see something flying on her head.

"Say Sylph, why did you give your power to me to... Correction, why did you fuse some of your mana to me? You already know about my affinity, right?" (Ray)

The creature that flying before come closer and sit beside me. She has a wing of feather and green hair and eyes. Her appearance like an a.d.u.l.t woman and she has tiara on her head.

"I think you are going to sleep all day until morning but to think that you woke up this late." (Sylph)

"Just answer my question." (Ray)

I put an expresionless face to her as a sign that I have no intention to have a chit chat right now.

"You have a bad manner to someone older than you, you know?" (Sylph)

She let out a little giggle to me and pat my hair.

"Just answer it." (Ray)

Again, I give a signal that I not interested with what her do.

"Yeah, I already know it. I initially want to made a contract only with her but I found something interisting in you." (Sylph)

"And what is it?" (Ray)

"Even though you bear much of power but you are really different with someone else that have the same condition like you." (Sylph)

"Alina has said that, so just go to the point." (Ray)

"You sure so impatient." (Sylph)

"If it's something that I put my interest on it then I can't hide my curiousness." (Ray)

She is sulking. Even though her body like an a.d.u.l.t woman but somehow she act like a child.

"Like I said, you are different. Even though you have power but you did not get corrupted by it. The character you have right now is reflection of your past live, not a single sign of changing from it." (Sylph)

Now you mention it, I have a title that told me I am a reincarnator, but...

"I don't remember I am being reincarnated though." (Ray)

"Maybe, they seal your memories because you want to do something that Gods doesn't want it happen. I just guessing from your title though." (Sylph)

Seal my memory? For what reason they have to do that? I check my status and I realize what the meaning of my title I had along this time.
