Astonished by his own thoughts. Cute? This word he has never used before. Even though he sees her as a rabbit, those fluffy creatures, his words have never used cute to describe. Those space warmers were but meaty delights to fill the void.

His eyes dim. He has never needed a reason for his actions. He finds it strange, what prompted this sudden change?

Hong Luo, unaware that her actions are effecting a certain god of war, sits in her contemplation, wondering whether she should ask the god of war for help, just too afraid to.

Should I go over there and ask his highness for a sword? I'm sure he's got one somewhere. But would I offend his greatness if I use what belongs to him? Aren't gods all like that? Stingy with their items, and throwing them away if a mortal deigns to touch them? Awkwardly, she glances towards the god of war.

Startled, he's looking right at her. Her face pales, starting to panic from his gaze. Why does it look like he's ready to kill me? How scary!

His thoughts are pushed aside as he became aware of her change. His stride healthy and overbearing, the god of war walks over. Clearly he knew what she was upset over, bringing out a sword from a spacial ring.

He begins preparing the fish, arbitrarily showing off his skills. Something that he has never done. Maybe this was caused by his good mood, or it was his awareness that this may be his last good day. What ever the reason he's enjoying this new sensation.

By the time Hong Luo recovered her senses, the fish had already been cooked and prepared, leaving her speechless. She was so shocked, she forgot to watch him work!

If the god of war ever found out about this, he'd feel very depressed. This was the first time he wanted to show off after all. He even did a few fancy sword tricks to impress her. Yet they were all for naught.

Greatly amused and satisfied by her expression, the god of war lifts a eyebrow, "compensation."

With but a word, Hong Luo understood.

Oh this god of war has a conscious. How sweet, he prepared food for me for giving him medical treatment.

But could we forget that for a second? Does he have to have such a good voice? Looks like a god, sounds like a god, acts like a god, must be a god!

Hong Luo's impression of this man skyrocketed and landed on the moon. Currently at a loss for its lack of air. 〇□〇;

Hong Luo, in an unladylike manner, plops a piece of fish in her mouth. Startled on how good the fish is, she starts mindlessly devouring it. Foregoing all the manners a proper lady should have.

Even though he should be disgusted by her uncouth behavior, he actually finds it rather enjoyable. A normal lady would try to be as elegant as possible. Going as far as to avoiding eating too much, ultimately starving themselves. The god of war finds that conduct to be overly fake and deplorable. So her actions aligned with his interests as the rabbits cheeks bulge, allowing for a smile to crack through his lifeless face. Sadly Hong Luo was too focused to notice such a rare facial spasm.

Inside her space, Little Soul is going in circles. [What is mistress Mozen doing eating with a stranger as if it's the most natural thing in the world?]

Little Soul thinks and thinks, trying to make sense of this situation, until...

He suddenly gasps! [Oh no it must have started again!]

He starts screaming at his stupid mistress, but he doesn't know shes cut off their connection. Poor Little Soul might lose some of that cute baby fat from his worry.

You'd think after living two lives and now on her third, Hong Luo would have developed a sense of caution specially towards strangers. Usually this would be the case and she would not easily let her guard down, even if the man was a god amongst men, which would honestly heighten her vigilance.

Yet, she has this bad habit of throwing caution to the wind the moment the person turns into her patient. So until that person stops being her patient, her caution will remain a nonexistent feeling, turning into an extinct creature. This is especially so the more of a good impression the person gives her during the initial stages. A doctor's ethical code is deeply engraved in her, no matter how lazy she herself claims to be, this fact won't change.

With this mans years of perception and experience reading people, how could he not understand this after closely observing her.

The moment she laid eyes on him, he could see astonishment and curiosity from her. But above all else, there was an extreme sense of caution permeating in her gaze. Her caution actually exceeded his own by a large margin. And yet that high level of caution that seemed to stem from her very bones, vanished without a trace the moment she saw he was injured.

The meaning behind her change was all too easy for this man to figure out. Which in turn lifted his impression of her making him less guarded, and more inclined to allow this little girl to treat him, despite her age. After all, even the best of actors can't fake true experience.

This habit of hers is one, if the person was black bellied enough, had plenty of patience, would easily be able to take advantage. Eating the poor girl whole. Sometime later, once the fish had been finished off. Hong Luo was sitting still with a dazed expression, looking down at the empty flat stone. The god of war who never let her out of his sight was puzzled by her absentmindedness.

Furrowing his brows, "What's wrong?"

She was just happily eating a moment ago, what changed? Did he miss a fish bone? Or perhaps it didn't taste good and she's feeling sick. He's never cooked for anyone besides himself, so how would he know.

Before he could give her words of comfort, she looked up, dazed and asking, "Did I eat the fish?"

He nods.

Hong Luo pursed her lips, trembling, pointing at the empty stone. "Did you eat the fish?"

He nods again, feeling even more puzzled.

Hong Luo lets out a huge sigh upon his response, causing his confusion to deepen. Looking at her questionably, waiting for her to clear up his confusion.

While a certain god ruminates, Hong Luo complains inside. Oh my! I can't believe I let myself go like that! This habit gained from years of living alone needs to be fixed. Someone please come teach me how to act like a lady.

Taking a moment to calm herself, she finally noticed a certain person looking at her. His gaze strongly pressuring her to explain herself.

Startled, fumbling over her words,"Ah that fish tasted too good, I started eating without thinking, forgetting my manners. I thought I might have eaten it all leaving you with nothing. So I was... worried." How embarrassing, must I keep losing all face in front of this man?

Enlightened, he lightly laughs, "silly."

She actually worried over something like that? It was but a small thing. Her honest to good behavior further enhanced the warmth that took root in his heart.

Hong Luo looks at him with eyes open wide, and her mouth in a visible 'O' shape. His laugh was so bewitching, he nearly made her soul fly away. This god of war isn't good for the heart. A girl would die happy with just a glance, even I... no no no this lazy sister can't handle a god of war. I'd rather go catch up on some sleep!

Furrowing his brows again, what is it this time? Her emotions are everywhere. Now even he is having trouble discerning them. She just kept staring at him in a daze. He couldn't help but reach out to rub his face, his expression growing more perplexed.
