Bloodlight Goddess Ru

Chapter 13 - CHAPTER 13: Floating cliffs

A little while later, queen Fae pleaded with a pitiful face, that looked-like a very little girl worried over something and she said,

"He's been ignoring me..."

"And he doesn't love me anymore...".

Mai was infuriated and her hand had clammored such as an iron ball ready to ram at something. Moreover, she was feeling the utter flaming rage in her thoughts aswell, that was even seeping in her angered look,

("What the hell's wrong with you Zen...")

("For a thing, Fae's a better woman than me...").

Queen Fae stood up and held Mai's burning fist. While Fae straight-up says in front of Mai with a sneaky smile that hindered her vain self but, she was also trying to get Mai's good side somehow,

"Since you're after him too..."

"Why not...try to stalk him out and find what's going on with him and his new lover...".

Next, Fae brought out a small picture of Zeran and Ru together at a certain village in their exact image, that was very nice to see even for a dark Goddess and a fallen hero together. Though, for Mai she was fillled with seething wrath amplified by the annoyance in her look and thoughts, since she couldn't believe her very n.a.k.e.d eyes,

("Zen and Ru...")

("WHAT THE HELLS WRONG WITH YOU ZEN?!")

("WHY IN F*CKIN HELLS OF HELLS ARE YOU AFTER MY FRIENDS AND FORMER FRIENDS?!").

Though, Mai didn't say anything on the outside. Instead, she swiped the picture from Fae's hand in an instant. Mai nodded and said with a convinced face with a blend of rage, proving her intense determination for the case of the two eccentric lovebirds,

"I'll stalk...no..."

"CATCH HIM REDHANDED!".

Fae felt delighted with a smile that speaks a thousand words, as she heard Mai's detrmined response. Then, Fae replies with a grateful voice that depicted immense thankfulness,

"Thanks for this...Mai..."

"Don't worry...MAYBE we'll support your queen's and nation's endeavors this time...".

While Fae left out a suspicious wink in her brimming eyes, that was sought only in a glimpse afterwards. Sadly, Mai didn't mind that wink since she doesn't care nor mind that expression. As they were done with their sort of friendly meeting, Mai left in a hurry, since she's very imposed on chasing the two weird lovebirds in her depiction. Though, she had some second thoughts and tried to recall the alarming thing Fae had said before,

("Maybe? Why maybe?!").

Soon, the fleeting and angelic feeling of the place Fae was in, had descended into the abyss, as it was now surrounded in the swelling air of chaos. As for the delightened Fae, she cracked out a demonic grin that was even more terrifying than the dark Goddess Ruhime herself, scarring Fae's pure maiden look with a vile woman's spire and thorns. Her humming of the desecrated dead had leaked out that would creep anyone out, beyond the dark Goddess would have done. Thereon, Fae let out her devious words,

"Hm-hm♪!"

"I never thought...it would be THAT easy to manipulate her..."

"I can't believe my acting skills were this good..."

"Now to meet those gullible men again...".

Then, she let out a s.l.u.tty act of her serpent tongue seeping into her slim fingers in her own warm saliva. Her eyes were radiating black devillish hearts acheing for grave intimacy, that'd make anyone to see her no longer as a divine maiden yet, as a white psychopathic s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s yearning for the bloodshed, desecration of her former lover, while she's getting laid by her several lovers for him to witness and destroy all of his sanity in the utmost nefarious levels of hell.

Meanwhile, in another occasion and a different place, Zeran and Ru continued their journey and took the northern route, while they had left the Ru plush doll at her home. Thereon, their very eyes laid upon the long-winding giant chasm that lacked rays of sunlight. The place was encroached and seeped in the faded decay of purple soil and green blighted swamp of deep fog. Walls of boundaries were cracking up fissures that spit out terror and isolation in a one-way route. Ominous and heavy air was felt all around, reeking out a demonic world. Zeran tries to recall the very name of the place,

"If I remember correctly...this is—".

Though, Ru was faster in saying it,

"Deathsky chasm".

Her words made Zeran to nod in respect. They had trodden along deeper unto the giant chasm, that seemed almost endless. For some reason, there were no signs of danger nor life, turning the place to be more mysterious and the feeling of hollow death was near their backs susceptibly. As they were still continuing to trudge along the silent paths of the place, they were now witnessing gigantic skulls and skeletal parts of grievious monsters protruding below the abyssal floor along the way, breathing the place more of a hell-like world and a total demonic place, crushing the light of hope. Though, the both of them weren't terrified to see those nefarious objects. Since, they already knew this place to begin with, during their previous individual travels. Zeran just felt a little suspicious about the place in his thoughts,

("This is really a dangerous place...")

("But I wonder why there are no powerful monsters here...even before...")

("But still that's a good thing...for us atleast...").

A little while later, they arrived at a dead end, ending their long winding journey, driving their search in quiet despair. Zeran says at her in a very direct manner,

"Ru...this is a dead end...".

Though, as he turned his face to the left she wasn't there at his side anymore. He felt a sudden urge of worry, that gushed his face in sweat. He shifted his look at the dead end. His very eyes noticed that the desperate Ru was jumping upon the protruding steppable rocks, as she was being afloat by the steaming air vent upwards with immense force, that even made him to feel more terrified and scared on what will happen to her,

("What the hell?! That's dangerous...")

("Ru...why are you so desperate...").

Though, as she stepped on the higher ground of a rock, she lost her balance suddenly, making her to impair her control, that made her to fall down from the sky gradually like you'd see a falling angel from heavens above descending unto hell. Ru felt that her lights had gone out and failed upon what she had to accomplish, even if she's a dark Goddess. Thankfully, Zeran anticipated that occurence and caught the falling Ru on his arms, saving her from her utter pain and deaf-defying demise such as you'd see a hero saving and lifting his damsel-in-distress in his arms. Zeran, expresses his utmost concern and look at her,

"Ru...I know you want that artifact but atleast try to take care of yourself..."

"You're gonna die again...if I weren't here..."

"Although...you'll revive anytime soon...but still...".

Her only response to him was a grievious depressing look, that depicted an ungrateful thought and it seemed to be quite different from what she'd usually express. She turned her face away slowly and said with a frown,

"Sigh...dying...what's the point...".

Her strange reply made Zeran to look dumbstruck. He was even more puzzled in his very inner thoughts, wreathing out grievious shock, since it wasn't what he would expect from the dark Goddess to begin with,

("Okay...that was something strange...did I just see her and hear her say that?!")

("She's usually...Oh my♪ thank you again Zera♪...err something like that...").

He had depicted her whimsical expression and her obtuse charming voice in his inner thoughts for a few moments. Strangely enough, he looked as if he would be more satisfied with her expression in that weird way instead, that opposed on what she had said on the outside. His confident face looked at her and he brimmed out an optimistic outlook. Then, he suggested to her,

"Other than that...why don't I do the jumping now...".

His words made Ru to feel grateful. Her face was oozing a heartwarming smile. Though, her expression wasn't full of energy but, her words were still evangelizing,

"Okay...thanks Zera...".

Zeran's face blushed such as a red beet as he saw and heard Ruhime's eyes and voice. Though, he shifted his face immediately, since, he doesn't want to let her see his embarassing face although, there were other reasons for him doing that action. Sometime soon, Zeran was still lifting the maiden-like Ru in his manly arms. His eyes were observing the timing of the gushing air vents on and off. The rocks were protruding such as stepping stones transcending to the peak, turning him to analyze in his thoughts,

("So it's really possible...but great timing is needed hmmmm...").

Later, he noticed the pattern of the adjacent rocks from the air vents in his mind and sight. He looked at Ru, as she was wearing a worried face. He nodded with a confident look. He took the action of jumping on the rocks like they were stairs, while he was being gushed with immense force by the air vents upwards alternately. There were huge gaps upon the higher grounds, so it turned him to rely on the breathing air vents until they had reached the higher grounds. Ru's expression was very awe-strucked, as she saw him moving with sheer gallantry in her eyes, while she was still feeling her body being lifted by his arms. As soon as they were almost at the sky high peak, Zeran exhaled very deeply then took a leap at the next protruding rock. Though, as he had his feet step on the unstable rock, the rock fell down. Thankfully, he was quick on his feet and he had already anticipated that occurence, so he jumped away from the falling rock. Sadly, there was no powerful air gush from below, so they were falling down gradually. Ru felt terrified that scarred her very beautiful face, making her to tighten her grip on Zeran's body. Somehow, a strong air vent came out below Zeran's feet that flunged them upward until the highest peak. Their senses had calmed down as the dangers weren't surrounding their very body anymore. Thereupon, both of their eyes saw a small nipa hut and a golden bud near it at the stable grounds. The fleeting feeling of the breezing air were touching their skin. Sadly, there was still no sign of life upon the whole area. The decaying roots and dead soil were felt by their feet. There was a golden bud at the center glowing with vibrant radiance. Soon, Ru suggests to him yet, in a seductive way with her delicate touch feeling his face,

"Zera...you can let me down now..."

"Or...do you still want us to be like this for a longer time...Hm♪?".

He didn't utter any other word and he just let her stand again on her two feet. Her feet was now touching the dead ground devoid of life. Zeran took a glance at the place. His eyes had its sights upon the golden bud, turning his face to release an alarming expression and utter out his words,

"Ru...is that...what I think it is?".

Ru replies,

"Yes...that's the...SHIMMERBLIGHT...".

That sudden moment, below the golden bud, there emerged a collosal velvet carnivorous and menacing plant that blocked their way. It had the structure of a huge venus flytrap, leaking out repulsive crimson mucous from its regurgitating mouth with razor fangs within. Its slimy and putrid ravenous tendrils connected below that looked so utterly terrifying and oppressive to s.e.xy women, although, it seemed to look-like tentacles instead. The immense roots were carved below the ground like veins. Later, the demonic being roared in a horrifying manner, that reverberated around the place,

"GUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAHHH!".
