Conquering The World With One Piece

At the bas.e.m.e.nt of Rain Dinners resort, I was holding on to the injured Robin, while Crocodile studied me from the side.

With hallowed cheeks and a wry smile on her face, Robin said, "You're trying to save me after almost getting me killed in the first place eh… Is this a new, fun way to kill people?"

I took out some bandages and started to patch Robin's shoulder-wound up.

"Hahaha, I thought you were the assassin though… Well, I can't have you dying on me yet!" I leaned in closer to her ears and whispered, "the Rio Poneglyph is still out there after all."

Robin's whole body shuddered, and she raised her eyebrows at me.

At that moment, Crocodile ran out of patience and decided to interject.

"So, you're the one wrecking my plans huh… If not for Robin, then how'd you find out my identity?"

My lack of response made Crocodile frown further in annoyance; his right hands started to turn into a loose blade of sand.

"You and your worthless justice, Marine… Now, why don't you return to the Marine headquarters to discuss more justice before I kill you?"

At last, I got up and observed the Shichibukai in front of me. Crocodile may be a ruthless master tactician, but he surely doesn't have any right to complain about the trashing I planned for him.

"You're just an idiot, Crocodile!" I said, my lips curling into a mocking smile.

Crocodile bit his cigar clean in half and yelled, "You bastard!"

"Fufufufufufufu…"

Robin's laughter from the side just worked to further increase Crocodile's anger, and he… Desert Spada… stabbed his right hand into the ground to send an extreme and focused erosion like a cutting torpedo towards me.

Swish… The attack cut my body into two clean halves, worrying the nearby Robin.

Crocodile was about to sneer at how weak I was; however, I just stuck my two halves back together and BAHM… delivered a quick uppercut to his jaw.

BOOM, Crocodile was sent flying through the building, breaking multiple walls on the way. I followed him outside Rain Dinners to continue our battle.

Out in the open, a curious crowd had gathered to see Crocodile recovering from the blow.

"Is that the hero, Crocodile, fighting more pirates for us again?"

"It's a Marine! B-But why will he fight our hero?!"

At that moment, Crocodile clicked his tongue and… Sables… created a sandstorm with him in the epicenter. The sandstorm gradually grew around 3-4 stories high, scaring the entire crowd away.

Meanwhile, Nami, Tashigi, and Vivi had found the duck troops of Alabasta. They were each riding a duck with a different hat and clothing to Rainbase.

All of a sudden, Vivi thrusted her jaw forward and decided it was time for her proud troops to shine…

"Instruct the royal troop to run around them!"

Quackakak…! The royal duck troop were now being led… straight into the Baroque Work agents by Karoo.

"What is this, Karoo?!" Vivi bared her teeth angrily at Karoo and tried to stop him, but they were already close enough to the agents now.

Luckily, Nami had released enough 'Cool balls' and 'Heat Balls' above the air in anticipation for the fight. She was now forming many 'Thunder Balls' that were powering a cloud that had formed above the battlefield…

"Tashigi, now!"

In a moment, both Nami and Tashigi used Soru to rush out of the battlefield, carrying all the ducks and Vivi along with them.

Thunder Tempo…! Rumble, Rumble…! A powerful lightning bolt crashed into the lines of the Baroque Works agents.

Zaaap! Aaaaahgggh! Screams of misery were heard as they were electrocuted alive.

Nami flexed her biceps with pride, but soon a frown formed in her face…

A short man with long wavy gray hair crawled out from the ground.

"Haha, I'm Mr.11! I'm going to cut you all down before you can ever use the lightning again!"

Before he could even raise his sword, Tashigi rushed into him and Slaaash… cut the man's c.h.e.s.t wide-apart.

Tashigi was about to leave the man's body, but she suddenly took notice of the sword he was carrying. Her face radiated brightly as she noticed the sword was Kashu, one of the fifty Ryo Wazamono grade swords.

Vivi walked up to Nami and Tashigi with eyes flashing from excitement and said, "Wow, you two are awesome...! But we should still leave before any of the officer agents show up!"

"That's true, but what's up with that camel over there."

Nami shrugged her shoulders and pointed at a light brown camel, who seemed to be staring at the ducks in envy…

Some distance away from Rainbase, Crocodile and I continued our battle. He had formed a giant sandstorm with him in the epicenter. He dashed straight towards me, drying everything along his path.

I took out my trident and spun it in a vortex with high speeds and strength, using Rankyaku to power it. Soon a giant tornado formed that cut everything along its path; and finally, Rumble… it became powered with massive amounts of lightning with me in the epicenter.

Lightning Tornado…!

We both rushed into each other and Booom… a massive explosion from sand and lightning colliding took place outside Rainbase.

As soon as the dust cleared, a massive structure of silica glass could be seen at the location of our collision. If people hadn't witnessed the fight themselves, they would have thought somebody had built a large monument of art.

Crocodile seemed to be on the short end of the stick, as he looked visibly tired from our collision. He raised his hook towards me and looked me directly into the eye.

"Huff, Huff… Watch yourself! This isn't over, bastard!"

Ground Secco…! Crocodile placed his hand on the ground and used his dehydration ability to dry out the area around it.

It was so effective that the massive moat surrounding Rainbase started to get affected by it too.

"No, our waters our drying up!"

"Is that Sir Crocodile doing this?!"

While the rest of the country suffered from the plethora of drying sandstorms sent by Crocodile, Rainbase had been so far prospering due to Crocodile's presence here. The people here had grown complacent and didn't think much on the water crisis…

Wooosh… In due time, the ground beneath me crumbled and caved in. I quickly fell into the ground as a quicksand pulled me in.

However, Buzz… I easily merged myself with the ground and appeared next to Crocodile. He scowled resentfully as we both prepared our big moves towards each other.

Crocodile formed several solid blades with fan-shaped edges made of sand, Desert la Spada… and he unleashed them upon me.

Thunder Punch…! Imbuing my punch with Armament Haki and 70 Million Volt of electricity, I responded to Crocodile.

"This is the end of the line for you, Crocodile!"

Claaasssh…! My punch dispersed Crocodile's sand and went forward to hit him.

Parts of his sandy body started to turn into glass until… Zaaaap… his heart finally stopped from being electrocuted too long…

Bystanders watched the lightning spectacle with their frozen eyes. They couldn't believe that a Shichibukai, Crocodile, seemed to be on the losing end.

Thud… Then, Crocodile's mutilated body fell into the ground and shattered upon impact…

"O-Our hero is dead!"

"But wasn't he fighting a Marine… and he dried our waters!"

People excessively swallowed as they were completely confused and shocked from the implications of this fight.

With a long sigh, I ignored the baffled crowd and went to pick up the fainted Robin. I had to go back quickly and send the necessary reports back to Marine Headquarters already too…
