Crap, I Was Rifted

"Bwoom," up above high in the air, an illegal Rift was opened. The User Orange hair and a few others that opposed the Administration were in view. The other Users that antagonize Azul were there as well.

"The signal cuts out here. Nothing is left!" Orange haired said. "The User must have died. We need to get his Keyblade. Where is it?"

"We need to go. The Administration are on their way. My source says so anyway." Blue haired said. He turned and left without there approval. "Run you dumbassess."

"Damn. Who owns this place anyway?" Orange tried to check but was stopped when a giant blast of energy came her way. "Holyshit!" Stepping into the Rift she was surprised the attack made it inside. Chasing after her.

"Wow you got hit hard," Blue-haired said. "That World did not like you. Who did you piss off?"

"How should I know. I have never been there before. Ugh can't trace it since it was the World itself. Did you get the signature?" Orange Hair questioned.

"No. Everything was protected as normal. We need to stay longer to get it." Another User said.

"We need to go! Administration soldiers are coming through the Rifts!" Blue-haired yelled.

"Shit! We screwed up! Split up!" Orange hair yelled.

"Bwoom," a golden Rift opened with Clawdas, Galtea's father leading the charge. They searched instantly and found nothing. Several scans going over the area and its distortions.

"Blasted traitors must have tipped them off. Who sent the notice out?" Clawdas turned to another administrator soldier. "They have still slipped through our clutches." Over his gauntlet hands, steel claws appeared.

"Umm Operator Alita did. Sent on the priority channel."

"Hmm mark it down as a false alarm. We found nothing." The troops left as Clawdas scanned around. Falling back into the Rift, he popped back into the World that was breached and saw Azul heading towards a mechanical Spider. "Hmm, it's him. How was he able to send out the message? Shouldn't he be asleep?"

"Do mind your business Clawdas. This does not concern you for now." The Trickster appeared with Galtana nearby. "Your wife will explain. However, tell no one of this. It is for the safety of all. Trust me on this."

"Very well." Clawdas turned and left with his wife. Leaving the Trickster to watch Azul.

"Haaa what to do now?" The Trickster turned to the right as a Rift opened showing his wife Calamity.

"Hello dear."

"Hello. The bait has been set. Indigo suspects nothing. The Avatar he is with, is under his influence and filling the procedures like last time. The Users are getting taken away and leaving dummies in place." The Trickster said judgeing the situation. "So far so good."

"That is good." The Trickster watched as Azul jumped on the mechanical spider. "Haaa. I do not think this will end how Galtea wishes. The poor girl has been through a lot."

"So has our daughter. I won't let her die. Or turn into a mortal again. We need to tell Azul."

"We cannot. But I have set up a way to help push him in the right direction. Time will tell. I just hope he doesn't break before then." The Trickster then walks back into the Rift. His wife jumped on his back. He looked over his shoulder at her surprised. "You OK?"

"Time for us to spend time together dear husband." Calamity changed the destination to the house instead. "Work has been done for both of us. Time for family." Happily, they went on there way.

-Back with Azul-

"We are not doing much damage to it!" Squall yelled. Raising his sword up he parried a leg coming down. "Ugh! This thing is really tough." Stepping back he watched as Azul came down in front. "What are you doing here teach?"

"Helping get us out of here!" Zell yelled coming down the ally with his team. Behind him, a bunch of G-Men were pursuing. "Keep moving!" Turning to face them, his Guardian Force appeared. "Thunderbolt, take them out!"

"Boom," thunder boomed out as Ixion appeared. The lighting unicorn pulled back on its hind legs. A dark cloud appeared instantly. "Bzzt," the spell Thunder shot down hitting the horn causing it to glow. "Whi, whi" with a whiny Ixion pointed down and fired waves of lightning out. "Bzzzt, bzzzt, bzzzt."

"Raaaahhh," the forces yelled as the first wave paralyzed him. The second wave hit seizing the lungs. Third waved caused the organs to fry.

"What have I done?!" Zell asked mortified. He stumbled back pulling returning the Guardian Force. "There .. so dead. I think I am gonna be sick."

"Zell, move! Now! Your team needs you. Break down later!" Conners yelled as she jumped down grabbing him and running. Rabbit threw a grenade back towards the down soldiers.

"Kaboom!" The bodies were blasted away.

"Wrrrrm," the mechanical spider moved forward in a launch motion. It smashed against a shield Azul threw up. Under the weight, it started to malfunction just a little.

"Blasted Spider!" Azul had just thrown the spider onto its back. 'Bass upload yourself into it already.'

Bass: I am not leaving the Node!

'Why you little?!' Azul had to stop as the spider shot a large stream of electricity at him. "Aaaah!" He screamed as the voltage was a lot stronger than earlier. 'Concussive Shot!' A lot more force than necessary went into the attack.

"Kaboom," a large hole blew out its mechanical guts. After a quick look around, Azul placed it in his inventory.

Bass: Incoming projectiles towards the beach. Troops have been evaluated as instructed.

'You little shit Bass. This is not over.' Azul dashed off towards the beach. He cast Tailwind and Cycle Up repeatedly as he moved. With a quick use of the Dash Technique to cover more ground. 'The magic from Growlanswer World were totally worth it. Need to finish off my Sphere Grid from X as well.' Stopping at the beachhead, the missiles were close enough for what he wanted to do. "Have to protect the island at all costs. Have to trust my Aeons strength."

Anima appeared behind him creating chains to anchor him down. Inferna flew up high from his right True Fire Rune and started casting a Drain spell. Ariel appeared from his left True Water Rune and moved in front of him. She turned and looked at him for a moment. The Aeon wanted to talk to him desperately but knew to wait. Looking towards the ocean, she pulled the seawater into a barrier.

"Protect, Magic Shell, Defense Up, Barrier, Biotic Shielding!" Azul cast everything he had. Mixing it with Ariel's magic he felt the connection to the Water Rune become stronger. Magical lines travelled up his arm guiding his actions.

Releasing his psychic energy he pulled at the missiles to send more sporadically to disperse the damage.

"Kaabbooom!" The missiles smashed into the barrier. The force causing Azul to slide in the sand before the chains anchored him back down. "Whoosh," the force from the blast went through the barrier and was on its way to the beach.

"Magister Sister's!" Calling out the Aeon, he watched as they appeared. The three spheres of magic circled in the air amd absorbed the force instantly. "Inferna!" The fire Aeon absorbed the heat from the blast. The power was more than what she expected as she swallowed the energy. The back of her head blasted out in flames. Long flowing hair of flames whipped out.

"Do you wish for me to send the wave back?" Ariel asked. Azul gave her a nod. "Very well my Summoner." Moving her hands above her head magical energy drained Azul and copied his Overlord's Fury.

The water pulled together creating a giant hand it rose up amd came crashing down on to the enemy ship.

"Aeon's Fury!" She literally caused it to press on to the sh.i.p.s. They watched in wonder as the sh.i.p.s sunk and exploded. Azul was expressed at the destruction. He didn't think she had it in her. Turning around she came over to him amd looked into his eyes. "I am sleepy."

"Then...rest. Good job." Azul was dumbfounded then he thought better of it. "Rest we will talk later when I return back to my Home World."

"Very well." Ariel returned to his Rune. The other's departed as well. All except Anima.

"Reap!" Two more chains left Azul back that went out into the water. She was absorbing the death energy that was developing for the dead forces. In a few minutes, all of the force's soul energy was gathered as well. The wreckage needed to be cleaned up now.

"Haaa did not think that part through. At least the island is safe." Using his biotics as well as his control of water he started to pull the wreckage out of the water. "Definitely need to expand my control more."

It took a few hours to get everything out of the water and into the air. Quistis had sent a barge to store everything on. Which made it a whole lot easier. The System message brought Azul peace of mind.

"Haa time to head back." Azul looked at the island then at the barge. "Clap that will not be ready anytime soon. Oh well. Time for some exercise." jumping into the water he started swimming. Misty Fist activated automatically. He felt a few of his Aeons swimming around him. All but the fire and earth ones anyway.

It didn't take long to catch up to the friendless with Ariel's assistance. Returning each of them he slid on to the surface and ran the rest. Of the way.

On the dock. The students watched trying to figure out what happened to their teacher.

"Over their!" Rabbit said pointing.

"No freaking way?!" Zell looked on gobsmacked. "He is so teaching me that!"

"Alright students head back." Quistis said smirking. She was quite happy with the results. As well as her husband showboating his skills. "Students inside now! Unless you don't want the food!"

"Food!" The students turned an ran inside the hotel like hyenas.

"Wow, they are hungry." Squad said as he watched them run.Selphie next time him pushed him to go as well. "Alright already!"

"Pushed around by a little girl. It suits you." Seiner said a grin plastered on his face. He turned to look at Quistis. "Hoe about we get our own dinner separately."

"I am married idiot." Quistis rolled her eyes at him.

"It is just dinner." Seiner shrugged his shoulders as he moved closer to her.

"Fwoosh," Azul teleport and swung down his halberd. "Crack." The concrete cracked.

"Woah teach I was just joking. Unless you are.." Seiner was forced to stop talking as Azul swung out. "Ooof," He was not kind with the punch. "Pfftt," Seiner spat up blood as Azul grabbed him amd lifted him up.

"Joke like that again. And I will kill you." Azul was not kidding. He looked to the silver haired girl next to him. "A beautiful woman like that by your side and you chase after a taken woman. I should kill you on principal."

"Azul.. He is a boy remember that." Quistis said as she came behind him. Her grabbed his waist as she tapped him to drop Seifer. Azul did so amd relaxed instantly. "See not so bad to reel it in every now and then. You students need to head inside. Before I start to get mad."

"Yes mam." The students grabbed Seifer and ran away.

"Ah that was so hot." Quistis wrapped tighter around him. "Do my angry husband are always a treat. Come let's sit on the bench."

"Hmm ok." Azul followed her amd sat down. He was surprised when she put her head on his l.a.p. "Want to be spoiled I take it?"

"Yes. Give me a report about what happened." Quistis didn't look away as she stared unblinking at him.

"Right." Azul told her everything as he knew it. And what happened with the missiles.

"That was reckless. At least you still kept that about you. That User you spared him because of his past as well as what he knows about the traitors. What will you do after?"

"I will take him with. To see what he can do to help. Just a little support to help get back on his feet." Azul reached down amd kissed her forehead. "Do you think I should have done something else?"

"No. You showed restraint. Especially considering he could have done something drastic beforehand. Considering he only lost a little of his soul he should count himself lucky." Quistis was calm as she spoke. "Time is running out. I can tell. When you get back lay down the law. And f.u.c.k those stupid women that want it."

"Pft, you are so different."

"I am serious. Here I know I am enough for you. The other places will need others like me. You have them at your side already but it will be awhile before things settle. I feel like something is gonna happen I swear. But so far nothing really. I am happy. Very happy with my current life. All that is missing is the resolution for her and some children of our own."

"Your right. Definitely need to make that all happen."

"So about your promotion?"

"I decline. Of course." Quistis said. "I love where I am currently."

"You cant be serious?"

"My reasons for remaing is my own."

"It is that useless husband of yours fault. If he was dead this wouldn't be a problem

"Sounds like your jealous.

"Your to good for him."

"Chis," the door opened. Azul had walked in with Zell.

"To good for who?" He looked around a little puzzled till the strands hit him. Sitting down he gave his report. "It was a success. All personnel evacuated."

"Good job." The dean said all smiles."If we knew you were this good we would have sent you on more assignments. Why did you stay so quiet." He was amazed at what he saw over the report and was amazed that the island remained intact. Despite the projected result saying it would be destroyed.

"First time for everything." Another instructor said. "We need to discuss about the fact you removed yourself from your other students. Care to explain?"

"no."

"What?!"

"You asked him if he cared tot explain he said no. Are you all just stupid?" Quistis said defending Azul. "Its all about the wording."

"Ugh, fine then. Who gave you the authority to do that?"

"Myself."

"This is not what you are getting paid for."

"I dont get paid."

"You what!?" The instructor looked to the headmaster. "Is that true?"

"Correct. Mr. Lunastrider does not get paid. His salary actually goes towards a few students room and board."

"I dont get paid so bleagh. I am here for Quistis and the students I have. As for everyone and everything else.. I dont really care for their lives." Azul said plainly as he leaned back. "You can fire me if you want."

"That will not be happening." Quistis said. "They fire you and I am done with this place. I can set up my own Garden with my own rules."

"No need to be hasty." Headmaster Cid said. "Everything was beyond satisfaction. You two are dismissed. Thank you again for your hard work. The Contractor paid big once they received news that you saved the island."

Azul and Quistis walked back to the room in silence. Once outside everything changed. Quistis' phone started to ring as well as a few students running up to her.

"We will get together after the inauguration ceremony. Time for work still. Oh, are you going to talk with Zell?" Quistis asked slightly worried. Azul gave her a nod. "Please take it easy on him. He is not the same as we are. Even more so not the same as you."

"Yeah, I will do my best. Before the party will be the best bet. In case it goes wrong, he has the party to look forward to." Seeing her smiling face and the surrounding students he decided to mess with her a little. With a burst of magic, Azul pulled Quistis over. "Before you go."

"Umm wait. Stop!" Quistis said before he kissed her. "Mmfp," she m.o.a.n.e.d into his mouth as they tongue kissed. Azul's hand travelled down to the middle of her back. "Ahh," she pulled away slightly with a m.o.a.n. Eyes slightly glassy before she gave him a long deep kiss as the others watched.

"Ooh, so romantic." Millie one of her students said. The others just stared and watched. Azul was using his Pather power in an usual way. He sent the others what they felt when he and Quistis kissed. A lot of the kids never touched or had someone do anything of the sort of what they are doing.

"Nice, see you later." Azul pulled away and walked off. 'I am really enjoying my life more. Bass now for you.'

Bass: I will not disobey your orders next time. I give you my word.

'Hmm, alright then.' Azul didnt want to argue. It would ruin what he was currently feeling at the time. 'Time to get ready for the dance after the quick rounds to make.'

-A few hours later at the party-

A few of the students kept asking Azul dance. Which he did with no issues. High dexterity flowing in making sure he didnt step on toes while doing so. Lin Kuei movement made for a very smooth dancer. Azul would have danced for another hour, but he finally spotted Zell to the side.

"Excuse me, students." Walking away he beelines straight towards the boy. "Zell stay put."

"Ahh teach yah found me." Zell looked back upset and disgruntled. His biotic strands gave Azul a general update on what was wrong. Zell blamed Azul for giving him the power to kill scores of enemies. Tons of people in one swoop. He was disgusted with himself.

"Oh so angry at me. What a disappointment you turned out to be." Azul leaned against the balcony.

"What!?" Zell turned angry. He pumped arms as he spoke trying to keep himself contained. "We killed so many people! I killed so many! This cant be the way to do things!"

"Hmm maybe, maybe not. If we didnt kill those forces they would have died anyway while we retreated. The G-Forces sent missiles to level the place. The whole island, buildings, any people who didnt make it off the island would have died. That includes SeeD personel that were unable to retreat." Azul said everything neutrally. 'Even without the additional people that we placed on the island, the regular citizens would have lost everything. An entire city originally gets destroyed. I think we did a little better.' Shaking his head he really wished he remembers more about this place.

"That cannot make it right." Zell gripped his hands tightly. The power from Ixion flowing around him. "I will not be a tool for mass murder."

"Ok. It is a pity, but sure kid." Azul looked over the balcony and saw Quistis leaving with Squall. 'Oh the blasted meet at the training area later tonight. There is a special thing about it as well. I wonder what it was again. Oh well.' As if to mock him with his memory, the System gave a mission.

System: Proceed to Training Area Secret Room. Rewards: ?????, ????? Failure: ????, ???

Seeing Azul walk away Zell lost it. "Tch, dont just walk away from me!" The electricity on his hands turned white as he grabbed Azul's shoulder.

"Bzzzt!" A current ran through Azul's body.

Health -21

"Oww kid." Azul turned and coldc.o.c.ked Zell. "If you have something to say then just say it. I do not want to waste my time with a coward."

"Bam," he punched him square in the nose and dropped him.

"My nose!" Zell grabbed at his face in pain. "I think you broke it!"

"That is nice. So talk already."

"Those soldiers.. they had families. What do I do about that? What do I do about the guilt?"

"Pffttt guilt you serious?" Azul had to stop himself from all-out laughing. "You are hopeless."

"How is that funny?!" Zell questioned not getting up as he saw Azul's glare. "is there another way is all I want to know?"

"Yeah, there is. The easy way. Go up and talk to them all diplomatically. For your help, they will put a bullet in you or worse. That way, easy clean up for dumb ideals."

"So no point then?!" Zell felt helpless. "Why am I even in SeeD then?"

"Do you regret protecting your teammates Zell? If you kill them, how many of ours would have died? What about there friends and families? There hopes and dreams?" Azul squat down and looked at him eye level. "If you want to change the world and the way it works, you will need connections and power. With neither, no one will pay you any attention. SeeD design is... complicated even I know that much. But the job at the lowest level is to protect the people. If you cant cut it just find a place to settle down and protect from what you believe to be the right way to do things. Talk to Quistis she can square away more on life choices."

"Heh your our teacher though." Zell looked at him. "Shouldn't you be the one to explain life choices?"

"He is right, Teach," Conners said with Rabbit right behind her. Around the balcony, a few of his other students came over and looked on expectantly.

"Haaa," Azul sighed a little. "Sure guess I can answer a few questions... but do not expect much. He gave them a smirk. The next few hours were spent answering questions. Just simple questions from having experience there first mission and seeing so much killing.

-Later at the Training Facility-

Azul activated the Auxiliary Field that was finally fully repaired. "Time to use some Pulls. Time is almost up here." From his inventory, he activated two High Pulls.

System: High Pull x2 commencing... reading Users d.e.s.i.r.e implementing now... search found adequate targets.. Ps2 Xenosaga III.. Kos-Mos... secondary target T-elos.. reconfiguring bodies to meet parameters.

Alita: Technology and Magic... I like it. Common ground for me and Zelda with the others.

"Bwoom," a Rift opened and the two women walked out in Seed clothing. Kos-Mos was a fair-skinned woman. Light European complexion with long bluish-purple hair that reached to her back. An athletic build of a gymnast. Her eyes a weird light pink in color. A very kind woman from the biotic strands she generated.

T-elos on the other hand. A very strong-willed woman that reeked of danger. A dark skinned only a little darker shade than Azul's own. Her piercing blue eyes were a little cold at first glance. She smirked when she felt Azul looking at her. She flaunted her c.h.e.s.t causing her long silver hair to pass over her shoulders.

"Young lady you are breathtaking but I am happily married. I want you two to follow the orders of my wife Quistis and keep her safe. Well until she no longer requires your services here. Then we can set you each up somewhere else if you like. Or you can settle down here if you did enough work.

"Understood," Kos-Mos said nodding a little to robotically. She looked around scanning with her eyes and smiled.

"Fine! At least we dont have to worry about our bodies. We are fully human," T-elos ran her hand along her sleeve. "..I am grateful for that. I will try not to kill Kos-Mos. No promises."

"No killing the sympathetic kind one. In fact, you are her big sister now. Try to show how to live a little more." Azul said T-elos. Looking to Kos-Mos he said, "she will teach you how to think more for your self and fit in as a human more. Gos knows you come off as a.. well a robot." Azul walked forward toward his destination as the other two followed along slightly grumbling.

"At least my suit looks nice for a SeeD member," T-elos said. "At least there are monsters to kill."

Arriving at the secret spot Azul passed by Squall. He didnt say anything to the kid as he walked towards Quistis who looked out. The other couples got up and walked a little furthur away from them to give them a little time.

"You came up here why?" Quistis looked a little off. "I forget you have seen this before. How i had Squall come up here to talk."

"Huh yeah. Received a Quest to anyway. I remember there was something about this place but cant really remember. Why are you so fidgety? I know Squall was with you at the orphanage. It does not bother me."

"That is a relief." Quistis leaned forward relaxing into him. "I thought you would get the wrong idea."

"Umm, I guess that could be consider.." Azul thought about how it would look to others. "Oh.. well I guess that makes sense actually. But I wouldn't do that to you and you wouldn't do that to me. That is what I believe right now anyway. Give the me 40 years when you get bored of me maybe it might happen then." Azul had a cheeky smile as Quistis looked at him. "I do not know everything about what happened there. However... I know he was like family to you and you were his big sister along with that other woman. What the hell is her name again?"

"Oh crap! Ellone! We need to help her." Quistis grabbed Azul and they took off. "You need to get her out of here. I have a double to take her place that should help make things easier for us." She looked at Kos-Mos and T-elos who joined behind them. Talking to Azul caused her to skip the scene with the confrontation. "She is a friend and it has been hard to get her away from the others. I think you can get it done easily for us."

"Ok. Might need my hands to do so luv." Azul just let her keep dragging him along. Quistis biotic strands were seriously worrying about the woman Ellone. "I will get her out of here no matter the cost." Quistis responded calmly to that.

Arriving they came across an injured Squall blocking a woman in a blue dress shirt and white skirt. She looked slightly sick and weak. Kos-Mos shot forward to protect the woman and Squall. T-elos raised her hand and fired out a beam of energy that wiped out the monsters. All except Granaldo died.

System: Willpower Check 33 Pass

"Your mine bug." Azul stretched out his magic and dragged towards himself. It was compressed and stored into a part of his Nether World. Granaldo was placed in the same area as the T-rex. "Haa that was actually easy."

"Thanks for the help Quisty and her hubby," Ellone answered now that the danger was over. She turned to Squall and watched as Kos-Mos healed him. "SeeD is getting better at healing arts."

"Glad you are ok Ellone" Quistis checked over her friend worriedly. "You are fine. Haa thank the heavens." She turned and mouthed a few words to T-elos. 'Put Squall to sleep.'

"Excuse us. Ellone needs to come with us." To White SeeD members came over. No longer shaken up Ellone hid behind Quistis. She did not like these two men. "Ellone it is not safe for you here."

"Huh did that member put the boy Squall to sleep?" The other member said. He turned to look at his partner. Eyes went wide when he saw the hand sticking out of his partner's c.h.e.s.t. "You cant do this.. we.. are.."

"Dead." Azul moved over and killed the other man. "Sigh bad abductors such a pain to lose your charge." Taking the souls out, Azul then created two Fighters from his Nether World with the same facial features. Inserting the knowledge from the two souls inside. "You two know what you have to do now."

The two fighters put the clothes on and cycled through the mannerisms of there new targets. Quistis reached behind Azul and pulled out a cube from out of his pocket. Dropping it turned into a likeness of Ellone. Just n.a.k.e.d.

"Do not turn around. In fact, close your eyes." Quistis' face turned a little red. For some reason she rather not let Azul see her friend Ellone n.a.k.e.d. "Ellone take those close off and give it to the counterpart." The woman stumbled a little unsure of what is going on. "DO it if you dont want to go back to that testing facility."

"Ah, your right!" Remembering about the people chasing her and the trouble, she followed along. Looking comoletely embarrassed as she did so.

"Nice legs. Mine are better though." T-elos said appraising the woman. "You should hurry, Squall is waking up. In record speed, Ellone finished disrobing. Quistis handed over a pair of SeeD clothing. Placing a band on her neck the woman's facial features changed a little as well as her hair color.

"Perfect. You two take the duplicate away. Tell them she received an injury." Quistis told the two fighters. They followed the order and left. "Azul I will find you later. For now, I will explain to Ellone what will happen to her in the future."

"No problem. Take Kos-Mos and T-elos with you." Azul started to walk off. "Oh.. I guess. No nevermind. Another time."

Azul left leaving the others alone. Kos-Mos saw to the woman Ellone as T-elos started talking with Quistis. A strong rivalry for control between the women. T-elos had no idea what she was getting her self into. But she will learn the reason why Quistis was called a prodigy. Even before the time change.

-Back at the room.-

"That was great!" Quistis yelled pushing him onto the bed. "I always felt brave when you were in the room. Now that you have actually arrived, I feel damn near reckless." Putting her arms on the side of his face she looked down. "I love you dont forget that. No matter what happens."

"I won't. Not any time soon. I will think about you while in Zanarkand and more places." Azul looked at her.

"Hmm no. That's to much. Just focus on the others when you are with them. It is only fair." She leaned down and kissed the side of his cheek. "You have to head back soon dont you?" Azul didnt answer but she knew he was checking. "Before you go time to spend our continuous honeymoon now."

"Sounds like a plan. I do have to leave in a few days. But not before making sure no one messes with you." Azul sat up and grabbed her waist. "Those two are strong pulls who will help you. One is super obedient. The other a pain a little, but earn her loyalty and you will have the most trustworthy friend and partner I promise you. But you are stronger than them both. They are from Xenosaga. As well as the soldier from my battle system that will be here in a few days should also help."
