Crap, I Was Rifted

-The party ended with a whole lot of weirdness-

"So.. yeah," Azul said sitting up. He was trying to figure out what the hell happened. Looking through his memory was a relief. They had not done anything. Just spent the night talking over things. Jaina refused to let him stay sober, so he removed the mental guards and unwind like everyone else. Running his hands above Jaina, he checked for injuries. Finding none, he cast Mental Cleansing and got out of the bed. He had to be careful as several others we're passed out all over the place. "Jeez what in hell?!" Torbin was actually hanging upside down from the ceiling drooling onto Rayna's helmet underneath him.

Azul stepped over Techlis and Ciela spooning togethor. A bottle of rum in her hands. Another step and he was over Bishop, Candace, Leandra, Cat and the Asari sisters. Each had a beer in their hands. Empty, as the content's we're on the floor spilled. A lot of it pooled under Chari's b.u.t.t. Who looked just... exhausted. She had whiskers drawn on her face. Turning he saw it in Riku's hand.

Remembering his abilities he floated a little to get over everyone. Ruma and the Krogan were out cold by the side with a bunch of the Vorcha. Shalla did not come as she felt ill and decided to rest. They still had not gotten the chance to have a sit down and talk. A few of his Ogre Battle soldiers were strung out in chairs. Good news they at least put there stun weapons away when things winded down. They did not drink to heavily. Just enough to enjoy themselves as well.

Stepping into the kitchen he saw how trashed the place was. For the next ten minutes, he used his biotics to clean the place up. Jane and a fw of her people had diped out already. Getting away from the clean up he mused. Once done, he went into the fridge grabbing things and turned to start to cook something to eat for himself. Only two minutes in someone had made it over.

"Oh, bacon," Jaina said from the stool as she watched him. "May I have some? Cook food just tastes a little more homey to me."

"Sure." Azul turned some over and put it on a plate for her. Reaching over he put some fresh strips on next. Grabbing a few slices of ham and sausage he cooked them up as well in the same pan. No point in using a separate or multiple pans with it being for himself. Then he felt Jaina's eyes on him. "Take it you want some more with that?"

"Yup. It would be nice. She offered the plate back to him." Jaina had a smile from ear to ear. "Azul thanks for this. For not going postal as well."

"Huh, no problem. I am a bit of an a.s.s so yah know." He gave her a shrug. "How are you doing?"

"Better now. You let go all that bottled up stuff for the most part I think. I could get use to this you. As well as the changing you." Jaina grabbed his wrist when he set the plate down. "Me and Claire were always talking about you, well Lighting as you called her. You were to hard on yourself on some things. Now that you are really cutting loose, I am happy. I bet she is as well. Or will be if we see her again."

"Heh, maybe." Azul looked down at her arm. "You plan on letting go?" She shook her head no. "Umm am I missing something?"

"Thanks for being my friend and not taking advantage of me last night." Jaina smiled before finally letting go. "That goes a long way considering you are a bit of deviant from what I remember Mileuda saying." She paused and spun her cup. "The things you did with Mileena are something else as well."

"No problem. Not that kind of creep." Azul smiled at the mention of Mileena. "Glad what you received from her is helping."

"Heh, I noticed."

System: Jaina ProudMoore has formed a loyalty bond with User.

"Well, I am damned." Azul shook his head and went back to cooking. "Hah, things are looking good once again."

"Your right they are." Jaina said smiling behind his back. She stared for a little bit then back at her drink. 'Haaa I really am enjoying things more lately. I do not want to ask for help..but I want to change my World.' Drumming the cup she sighed. "Hah."

"You can always ask me anything. Just might not like the answer." Azul said sitting on the opposite side of the cooking island. "We have known each other long enough. Both bad and good."

"Ok. Might as well. I wish to go and change my World. If only to try something.... To do something, I need a lot of power. A lot of help. Can you.."

"Done. Take what you need. Well no that is not right, we will get you what you need. Consider it for services rendered in the past. As well as the future ones if you have to."

"Really... are you sure?"

"Yeah. Besides, the places we are really going to in a bit can help recoup or losses. But I do not think you will fail there. I will get Alita to help you. Kasumi to go with you and steal what you need. I would send Lettie as muscle but.. I want her to rest." Azul then reached his hands out and shifted Alita and Kasumi both over. Running his magic over the two, to clean out the alcohol he then woke them up gently. Once awake he informed the two. "You are heading to Wow agreed?"

"Yup," Alita said nodding. She then started working on the preparation. "There is a.. Warcraft Frozen Throne World. Your specific one was.. already destroyed on it's way to reforming. We can put a lock for us to receive it but.."

"But what?"

"It means taking ownership of It. That is a big investment. Others will know about it due to the World resource level. It is not low enough to become disguised I am afraid. Especially if Azul is not invested in it." Alita looked over to him. "Are you?"

"Nope. But it does not matter. Set me up for it. I will have a me there to help out. With out me controlling for the most part." Seeing their faces he elaborated. "I will pop in to help upgrade the soul and make sure nothing happens. That way things work a little more smoothly. I think that should suffice. It will still be me. Just a more delicate me is all."

"Thank you," Jaina said lowly.

"As I said, no problem. In fact, we will send a bunch of troops as well. Without the influence of Devil, Dragon, or demon energy. So regular humans with magic. It will be up to you how it turns out for the most part. No pressure?"

"Heh, not at all. I was a Leader of the Alliance after all." Realizing something she stared hard at Azul. "I want you to be human and a Paladin. I have a plan to get you power but it will come at a cost."

"Go for it. I don't want to know. I will find out when it happens." Fixing his breakfast into a sandwhich he took a bite. "Ah so good."

"Really, give me a bite," Kasumi said. She reached and bit the other end from the wanna he was eating. "Your right it's good. Little more cheese though."

"No way. Then it is to gooey."

"No such thing as to gooey." Kasumi replied as if matter of fact.

"Yes, there is. Just like their is a thing as to soggy."

"Soggy cereal is great. It doesn't cut your mouth." Giro said. The little boy opened the fridge and fixed himself a bowl. Getting some Trix out before pouring it into the bowl. "I think you just dont love your mouth." He smiled at Azul.

"See even he agrees," Kasumi added,

"Soggy cereal is gross. I will get you from the dark side I swear!" Azul said as he moved his sandwich away from her. "Say soggy is gross and you can have the other half."

"Uhh bastardo!" Kasumi stared wide eye at him. "Against the rules. You cannot hold the food hostage!" She reached over to grab for it. Azul just kept moving it away.

"You two are funny," Ashley said coming into the room. "Is she a wife?"

"No. One of my best friends actually. Tend to spend a lot of our time talking togethor. She keeps me grounded. Despite her happening to be a master thief."

"A master that steals sandwiches," Jaina added. Her hand was blocking her mouth. "I will be back in a bit."

"As long as I..." Azul was saying before he looked over and saw Kasumi eating his sandwich from behind. Looking back and forth he noticed the other was a decoy that fizzled out. ".. sandwich thief."

"It is still good." Kasumi ate the sandwich. She looked over to Azul and winked. "You should make more for the others."

"I cooked for who was up at the time. Which happened to only be me and Jaina. Everyone else can get System food."

"What about me brother?" Lettie said coming from out of his shadow. She gave him a kiss on the cheek before stepping completely out. "Morning. Umm taste like bacon."

"Haaa, guess I can cook you something to."

"I would like some skipper. Since I am up and all." Ashley said smiling.

"Might as well cook for everyone." Dyshana said coming over floating. "Good morning." She sent Azul a look as he opened a telepathic link. 'You were great last night. Thank you for talking with me all night. As well as talking with Jaina.' Dyshana just floated above them all and watched lazily.

"Haaaa," Azul exhaled and grabbed more pans with his biotic and put hem on the stove. The good news Inferna, Ariel, and Anima came out to help. Each using the knowledge from the bond and helping.

Tifa started making mimosas and the party kicked off again but more tame this time. Jaina came back after Azul sent her a message about something for her. They shifted to a training field in the Nether World. A small shack to the side that had drinks and food for those training all day. A quick look and Tifa had popped behind. She was still drinking a little. With a Shift Zelda appeared to help.

System: High Pull commencing... Dynasty Warriors 8... Lu Bu.. Pull has agreed.. additional soul detected. Would User like to spend additional points to acquire?

"Do it."

System: DaoChan has agreed...

Both came out of the Rift injured and bloody. Azul and Tifa started healing them instantly.

System: High Pull commencing... Sonic Heroes.. Shadow the Hedgehog...

"Oh let me do this part," Zelda said with a smile. She raised her hand and tapped at the Operator interface. "And done."

System: Operator has taken a soul piece and started User in Sonic Heroes. Race changed to Hedgehog.

When the System finished Azul changed shape and shrunk down to a Hedgehog. He had the same hover shoes Shadow had on just different colors. His hair was done up in dreadlocks went the rings from the world at the bottom. On his wrist, legs, and neck we're a set if rings. His hair was black till came to he bottom. It turned white then red and finally pink. It was barely noticeable But Azul looked at then at Zelda with a frown.

"It looks cute." Zelda smiled at him causing him to shrug. With a shift a few remained to watch over things. Azul went to train in his usual place. Galtea had come to check Zelda's work. She gave a smile of approval. "Jaina should be happy with those two joining her to help fight."

"Well.. that was fun," Tifa said walking over wobbly and getting some water. "She is driving herself crazy. Can you do something about it?"

"No. It is on her now. I will not coddle her. Sorry." Galtea said. "However I won't stop you from doing so." She smiled at Tifa. Sending her emotions to her. She watched as her eyes went wide before speaking again. "It is up to you if you follow that plan or not."

"Ahh right. Going now!" Tifa jumped and Rifted away. She arrived next to Azul who was meditating. Fire, Water, and Darkness swirling around him. Wind started to pick up but shot to Tifa when she arrived. "Huh, isn't this Valefor?"

"Yup. It is yours now. I think he will be at home with you." Azul said. He didnt open his eyes as he kept training with the others. He was supplying magic and helping them acquire there memories more. "Take your time then we will go."

Tifa looked him up and down judging him. "Right." She said as she started to meditate. A ball of water formed and spun slowly. Next, the air ball that contained Valefor left and combined with it. "Whew, water and wind now completely in synch. Nice."

After a few hours, the two left to another location of the Nether World.

"Ready for Mortal Kombat?" Azul asked dressed in his dark blue Lin Kuei outfit. Only difference was the even darker red sash around his waist. His left arm had a black chain around and crystal clear one on his right.

"Of course," Tifa said. She was dressed in a light blue and green outfit. Lin Kuei garb as well.

"Not without us!" The Thessia sisters said arriving. Another Rift opened and Jaina, Torbin, Shun, Cassandra, and Samus walked out.

Jaina wore Lin Kuei gear very reminiscent of Mileena's. Ruby, Onyx, Torbin, Shun, Cassandra, and Samus were dressed in Shirai Ryu gear.

"Sorry I am late!" Kasumi said appearing next to Azul. "You cannot leave without you right-hand right?" She smiled at him.

"Of course not." Azul gave her a smile back before looking at them. "This will be a first for a lot of you. Just relax and take it easy when we get there for the first few minutes. The memories are the best way to get everything in a way that you would like."

"Yes!" Kasumi cheered walking forward a little. "I lead his Lin Kuei faction in his absences. The Shirai Ryu needs a leader. Means you need to know all the rules and its customs." She looked around at all of them for a moment. "Volunteers are hard to come by. I think you should make a new person to do it. A follower might be better for that role anyway considering how dangerous OutWorld is." She turned to Azul and gave a smirk. She was baiting some of the others to take the position.

"I will do it!" Ruby said. "I think it will work better for me to have one to focus besides here, and a few others later."

"Done." Azul stepped forward and pulled out a Medium Pull from his inventory and placed it inside of her. It took only a few seconds before the energy dissipates increasing her soul and personal history. Azul felt the biotic strand leave. She sent her feelings out. "You will do fine. Always remember to ask for help."

"Hmm right." Ruby hums her response. "I cannot wait to go."

"We will leave in a few days actually. Just reorganizing all that are going." Zelda said as she appeared to the side. "I want this to go better. Sorry, everyone." Looking around she saw everyone was smiling. They understood how important the test was going to be. They could wait a little more. "Thanks for your support and understanding."

"Bwoom," Leandra appeared from the side with a data pad for Jaina. She looked at everyone assembled and smiled.

"Azul with us!" The Thessia sisters grabbed him and pulled him away.

"Well that was.." Torbin said before stopping. "Lucky devil."

"Oh feeling envious there little Torbin?" Leandra teased. Torbin gave her a glare before turning away. He didnt know what was happening till it was to late. "Anyway that is all Jaina." Takeing the pad back she wrapped her arms pulling TOrbin into a portal. "Come on grumpy. YOu want action. I will give you action!"

"Ahhh!" Torbin screamed surprised.

"YOu think.. he will be ok?" Shun asked.

"Hell no!" Kasumi said before laughing. "AHahahha Hope he has a safe word!"

"Well, he knows how to hit the nonconsent buttons right?" Shun asked towards Zelda. "Right?!"

"Umm yes!" Zelda replied with red cheeks. "He has finished the classes already. Oh, that reminds me. Kat and Kasumi, you need to retake the harassment class. Both of you have boundary issues as it were."

"Ummm dont want to," Kat said as she looked away.

"If you dont you receive a pay cut." Zelda smiled evilly. She moved away to a Rift before telling Kasumi, "you have gained a little more leeway considering. But that does not excuse you having stolen Maldova's ship collection!"

"Hehehe, but they were lonely looking. All secured behind a force field. I just wanted to get them some sun time is all." Kasumi chuckled following behind. "I thought they would fly."

"You threw them over a highrise! On the Citadel of all places!" Zelda admonished her.

"I think you should do it." SHun added to Kat. "Goes a long way for your future here anyway."

"Eh, your one of those nice guys arent you?" Kat walked over and looked him over. "Your hiding a lot of power in there. How unusual you are. That your a fangless tiger makes it worse. God always gives it to the undeserving." She scoffed at him in disgust. She was probing him, seeing if he could be trusted.

"Perhaps." Shun just smiled in response. Kat turned and left. 'A dangerous woman indeed. She was on edge the entire time. I wonder why?'
