Crap, I Was Rifted

Chapter 86 - Warhammer 30k-40k Part 5 head out

"I lost a day last time. But not this time." AzuI shook his head annoyed about the latest development. But he couldn't do anything else about it. The information was unsettling but expected. "Angron went to stop the other Gladiator arenas. That is fine, but hopefully, he knows what he is doing. No way they will come out unscathed. Hotshot made contact is assisting him, so that is great that they made contact." Thinking about the additional forces added this time, he relaxed.

"That is true. What do you want us to do?" A Dark Eldar asked. His name was Tuil. Azul swears the guy was a supervillain with a name like that. But he trusted him. "You ok Archon? You just missed a group of Eldar arrive and head out. Someone named Jaina lead them."

"I am ok." Azul shook his head a little. "Jaina went with them. The Farseer and his force went with her, so that leaves us." Azul looked around and saw Tuil and some 50 other Dark Eldar at the ready. Behind them were another 330 Dark eldar.

They had cleaned the place out of all supplies and food that was gathered nearby. A small bit of water which was fine. He could make more easily if they ran out. "Gather everyone around this is about to get weird."

AzuI waited as they followed his command. He built up psyker energy. Just enough to protect from anything else getting through.

Once everyone gathered, he started. Turns out, 55 Eldar was the number who were willing to stay and help him. The others fled with their newfound freedom. Not everyone believed monstrous bugs were coming to devour everything. But the threat of Necron was enough to get some of their attention.

"Bzzt!" Asmall rift opened and the gear started to fly out to each of them. Better armor than the shit they had on currently.

"Hold still. You are all getting a bath and a slightly painful injection." Sending his Runic Water out, Azul washed each and every one of them from head to two. Some started to freak out from the psyker energy inside. That was to be expected, consdiering Azul had ties with Slannesh and something more. But the presence of Isha mixed in, calmed them each down. "Trust in your judgement. It will will be fine."

System: Persuasion Check 25 Pass

"I said it was gonna get weird. Bear with me. I am getting rid of any foreign contaminants on your bodies. You will be stronger so... yeah. Just wait." Telling them they would be stronger was something that he should have lead with earlier. "Lv6 Mental Cleansing!"

"Wooom! Wooom!" As his Runic energy washed over them, they relaxed. Two of them became too relaxed and became limped and glossy-eyed. Then another 30 did as well. Slowly a Djinn appeared. Circling around the entire group. A small Rift opened up. Little Devil Djinn's went down and attached to them. Then the psker Djinns attached to them. One to let them resist Warp affliction physically. The other to resist Warp afflictions on the mind.

Once the filth washed off them, AzuI ejected them with genetic programming. He finally, used more of his genetic pull from Halo. Well tried it on them with input from Isha & Slaanesh. It could thrive in this world filled with genetically modified people.

AzuI pulled the washed-out psychic energy from inside himself. It belonged to those who died the other day. Some that he would feed to Ardat Yakshi (Thessia sisters) It came out as a red twisting ball of raw psyker power. Azul cleaned out all the psychic echos of the people they were derived from. All but the teachings anyway.

"Bwoom!" Sending it to each of them, he felt the power of them all grow again. The Djinn used the energy to help them all turn stronger visibly. Each member eyes glowing a differnt color, before returning to normal.

"Haa!" Azul outstretched his hands. He passed on a Rune to each of them. The Rune's were from Suikodon. Made from a tiny piece of Azul's True Rune's that he held.

System: New Race created. Rune Eldar. Intelligence increase by 1. Additional rewards withheld by ????

Scanning over each of them, he found 35 with massive Psyker potential. Tuli was already a Psyker, just damaged in some way. Moving everything around with Isha's help, Emerald walked to his side and joined in. She helped Channel a little something she bought herself to them. They each twitched a little and m.o.a.n.e.d.

"Damn Slannesh." AzuI shook his head, nothing to be done about it now. The rest of the energy went to everyone else to fuel the genetic mutation.

As everyone was now groaning in pain and p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e, AzuI reached into his inventory and grabbed the an Orb. As well as a crate with artificial organs. This was his gene-seed. The orb was from Legend of Dragoon. It was the one that belonged to the him there. Everything finished up there, the him there was living a life with Rose.

"Bink!" AzuI crushed it, using it as more energy to fuel the process. Its raw magic power would make the Rune Eldar more resisted to the warp, in theory. The new gene-seed was something he had been working on for a while. Two different Gene Seed's. One for humans. And one for Eldar.

The him that was with Cassandra in Mass Effect worked on it. A different gene-seed than the one given to the Sisters of Battle and company. This one was designed for Anti-Tyrannid, Anti Chaos, and Necron at the last minute. Took a lot of points for that. It would work in tandem with the new genetic upgrade to improve them in battle. AzuI couldn't harvest the organs and make two new forces from it.

But he could make one new from it. It sort of condemned the person who they took it from. To sort of live forever. He made the gene-seed take hold of part of the person's psyche. If they died, mental mapping and psychic restoration would give them life in a new body. Which AzuI was able to make do to his Nether World. The original received a new body and lived again. And the gene-seed was ready to make another at the ready. No defunt or rejection to the host.

The very moment he made this gene-seed, the System locked it for this world again. Azul thought it was a gyp, but whatever. Each of them received a portion of Bahamut's power. And a few reciced some from Obelisk the Tormentor. Turns out It became stronger the more people fit with it. That it judge and approved of.

Galtea expressed her concerns about Azul giving them a portion of his Devil power. It would weaken his mind according to her. She explicitly made a point for him not to give a part of it away. AzuI shrugged at that and left it be. It was already done and he did not promise to not do it again.

'I hope Zelda can help with that. Or I get a chance to talk with some higher-up Eldar to learn from.' Azul thought. 'Have no idea what they are planning, but time to trust my own counsel more. My Devil power is not a problem, not with Obelisk the Tormentor at the reigns.'

System: Intelligence Check 40 Pass

Looking at the males and females still undergoing the process, AzuI moved to the next plan. Alliance, Cerebus, Shirai Ryu, Lin Kuei, Magic The Gathering, Path of Radiance, Zanarkand, Shadow Realm, and Ki Impartation.

AzuI passed the knowledge mentally to them. It was not as fast as the System doing it but, slightly more effective with the gene-seed and them having his various powers. There was no real resistance besides them getting weirded out. They stopped once they realized it was him speaking to them Directing them.

This took 16 hours to do. Took more than last time. The gene-seed had only enough power to get them a second heart and the upgraded brain portion last time he did something like this. This time they had everything available.

The Rune Eldar, had everything an Archon, Autarch, Primarch, and Primaris Marine from the future. If they lived to level 30, each would have the killing force of a Chapter Master. If they made it to 40, They would be able to go toe to toe with a Primarch's with ease. It would take time for everything to get their of course.

The physical bodies were already superior due to them being Eldar. For that, AzuI was happy. With the lack of insight on the Imperium, training flooded them quickly. AzuI also passed the Sacaen teachings he had. That little bit of swordsmanship to help the enthustaic members.

"Sorry about that. It had to be done." Azul shrugged afterward. "Go through the containers in front of you and get dressed."

Inside the boxes contained clothing from Mass Effect. The standard mass-produce clothing everyone wore. Well with upgrades. This would act as a thin layer of armor for their skin as well as having micro transceivers to relate back to the armor.

Speaking of the armor it was just enhanced ODST armor last time. This time it was Mass Effect Armor. Psker power worked the same as Biotics. The suits took care of that issue. This time he upgraded it. It would survive a few Tyrannid strikes but that was not all. On each of the location near the heart and back of the neck, AzuI placed a Rune mark. This was to receive the buffs he cast. As well as the one allies could cast. The armor had the technique from Final Fantasy Tactics of the Dragoon. When they were at a critical condition, power would gather on them. If they died, instant revival and a full Heal would cast on them. If they died again.. well that was that.

"I didnt forget about you Emerald. This will hurt way more than what I just did to them." AzuI said seriously to her. "They wouldn't have been able to use this the way you can. As a woman of more than one World, this will shine in your hands. Hopefully."

AzuI watched as she placed the node in front of herself. It activated and opened. Everyone behind watched in intrgue at first. They then jumped when the appendages came out and wrapped around her. It had the appearance of veins and muscle fibers. In a few hours, she was done. The others had put on there Mass Effect armor. It was the DLC Dragon Armor. They were walking around getting use to it.

The Powerful Psykers had flanked behind him. Slowly he was parting basic understanding of a few Psyker moves. Mostly biotics anyway. Pull, Lift, Barrier And Shockwave. As well as Mental Cleansing. Azul told them about Warp presence effecting them differently. If any of the others and themselves felt like something was trying to convince them with whispers, they were to use that.

"This will work wonders." Tuil said.

"We will need it." Mara, another Dark Eldar said. She moved in weird movements. But was nice enough.

Azul looked at a symbol that appeared on the front of their c.h.e.s.t. It was an Eldar symbol. He couldn't tell by who though. Isha said nothing. The two looked at each other and nodded. Something to talk about later. The biotic strands that came off them were that of peace and acceptance. So it couldn't be bad right?

"Bwoom!" Zelda left his shadow. She was not alone. Link was with her.

Azul threw a box at Link "Get dressed." Inside his box were the same clothes he wore. The Cerebus clothing Shepard wore in Mass Effect 2 (Science Unifrom). Complete with gloves of course. Both had a more flexible Warp resistance. They would need it. "When things get gritty you will help support Emerald to stop a bad area. Assisted by Sven and his forces." Those upgrades and the gene-seed upgrades took out all of his Companion points. That is with the discount of the other him having designed this version of the gene-seed.

"Fancy." Link said. His voice sodding almost mechanical. It was monotone.

"All right everyone, eat up. We have days of work to cover. We will make up for it with precision and well coordinated moves. Angron is already gone to free the other Gladiators from what I have been told. We are going to open up the Craftworld. With the added firepower, we have a better chance."

"Archon..no. OverLord, shouldn't we help the others?" Sven asked. "With what you just gave us, we could definitely help them better.'

"That would be true. However, time is not on our side." AzuI said to Sven and the others. His question was not without warrant. "We have enough vehicles to get to that location and one other. Splitting up has to be done correctly in this case."

"One of the locations they didnt go to happens to be a remote village. The population is only about 600 or so. This was 5 years ago. Before I was captured by slavers, I wathced over the area and gave food to the inhabitants. They were decent folk. Very spritual." Mara said as she step forward. "Most of us are from there and in neighboring areas. We could go and get any of the able-bodied to help. They have mortars and web guns. It's better than nothing."

"Ah, we will have a few mortars as well." Another said stepping out next. "Besides the population of Kurnst I oversaw, we would have the biggest population in that area."

"That will have to do. I need those who are fast to come with me. Tuil you and.. well your protege there go with that team. Keep them safe from any raiding slavers around."

"Right." Looking around, Tuil moved to the side with a group of medium to heavy build Rune Eldar and got to work. Azul looked at the remaining forces. 30 for himself and two untrained psykers he created. "What could possibly go wrong?"

"I will head that way with the others." Zelda said. Azul gave her a nod. Link moved with not to far away. Emerald look back and forth before summoning her helmet back.

"Haaa she is in my team. I will take care of it." Emerald said. Her biotic strands let her know she was upset. "You just take care of her." She pointed to Hilda dressed in black and purple.

"Hey." Hilda said coming over. "Should be fun. I have never shot a gun before really." She had a rifle in her hand that was then strapped to her back. Azul pulled out a Growlanser ring from his inventory. "Nice. I do." Hilda teased as she put it on.

"Woom!" Massive psychic energy came out. Gauntlets appeared over the armor fused with it. Then a pair of greeves.

"That is defintely something else. The rings make the most effective weapon of the soul of the weilder." Azul watched with intrest. Another pulse of magic, and armor formed around her fully. "A full set. This.. are you ok Hilda?"

"Yes." The tone was flat as she moved to Azul. "I will be in time." She slinked into his shadow. It was more comfortable than when Zelda did it. Hilda left her soul b.a.r.e to him. 'Very well. Feel free to search through my own.'

Loading into a stripped Grav-Tank, they headed out. Azul and five others got on a Reaver. Memory guided him to the Craftworld that was buried in a mountain.

-Wasteland-

"Well, the entrance was buried anyway. Hopefully, the Webway Arch was undamaged." Azul looked at the map display. Its holographic wayfinder alerting anything other problem in the area. So far so good.

Galtea: The others will arrive when the attack starts. Ruma is raring to go as well as a small battalion of 1500 of her clansmen.

'That is not enough.. But thanks for the update.' AzuI said back through the link. Someone else was driving as he spent his time working on his new Psyker abilties. Just mental tactics and movements on how the Tyrannids acted. Then the Tyrannids. 'How is everyone doing currently?'

Galtea: Bi-Han has come to a small stopping point. I will have him transported to you before the attack. Riku and Company are dealing with a trial for the next summons. Sapphire is having fun. She doesn't like the temples however. Mileuda has the monastery going through the paces with Kat and Tietra. She will name her successor soon. Her Tietra and Kat want to head your way directly, but will head to a planet with a surviving Primarch. Per new instructions.

'Which one?' Azul could have sworn Angorn was the last one. 'Wait that is not right. He is the last found out of the 20 that is released for the tabletop game and book series currently. The other 80 or so are unaccounted for. As slong as it is not an actual User imitating a Primarch, it should be fine.'

Galtea: It is fine. A quest opened up for them. They are happy to do it. Also, Kat was succesful with the planet she saved. She used her points to create a warp gate on it. She wants to place it in your Nether World. What do you think?

'Bah, fine. Just let her know it will be isolated from the other planets. Especially I can check the people over.' Azul did not want to risk anything. Call him slightly paranoid.

Galtea: Understood. You mind answering why?

'No.' Was his only response.

Galtea: Ok.. Bi-Han has unnearth a lot of the old technology in his adventuring. They are going to consolidate a small portion for when you return. The forces of the Southern Sky has made a strong recovery. With the you there having made its move with the princess, the World has changed drastically. You have to return soon to deal with a key event.

'How bad is it?' AzuI was looking forward to it honestly. 'Well after I finish some things anyway.'

Galtea: Easier than this. However, there are strange movements happening. So be cautious when you arrive. Alita is planning some big for you. Several of your companions have received points to use from doing quests for her.

'Neat.' AzuI was happy for them. But something was bugging in the back of his mind. 'Was it that I was doing too much at once? Training psykers, troops, thinking of battle plans, thinking about how to act in the next World, as well as the upcoming battle was not too much? Was it Hilda?'

'No. You are fine their. Just jitters maybe.' Hilda responded calmly. 'The Necron may have you lost a little.'

Then Azul remembered it was nowhere close to what the actual Primarchs would do in battle and day to day activity. A flicker of memory, reminded him that this was just small stuff still. Not yet to anyway. Feeling his Dragon Power shoot up, AzuI blinked and felt a sense of clarity.

'I know this is sudden but, does Alita have a problem with me?' It came out of nowhere. But something told him he had a problem going on.

Galtea: Yes, but not something that cannot wait. I will tell them you are thinking about them though.

Galtea: Your Pather abilities are farther than it should be. When the time comes for the battle, cut the connection. The Tyrannids might reach out to you and try to cripple you. Your Slannesh sword will prevent any demons from getting to you.

'Why would the Tyrannids..' I stopped when I realized something. 'Galtea the Vorcha call me Broodfather or Hivemaster. Does that mean I can control them yet?'

Galtea: Yes. It also makes you a threat to Tyrannids. As well as something they want to eat. Your Psyker power is something they definitely d.e.s.i.r.e.

Azul's eyes went wide as he heard that. He became so distracted, the others felt his connection with them waiver. 'So they just want to eat me right?

Galtea: Yes.

AzuI heard the humor in that answer. She was laughing and he didnt like where this was going.

Galtea: If we were in Starcraft you would be in a Zerg breeding pit. Maybe they would even convert your body for you to be able to lay eggs. I think you would look great popping out millions of eggs every day.

"Uggh." AzuI grunted. He was done. As he leaned back and went to sleep, his mind started to piece togethor more of what ws going on with Galtea.' She is not rembering or choosing to ignore what happened. Hmm everyone is acting crazy. Or maybe I am just crazy.'

Devil: You are not going crazy. Your suspicon is not with out merit.

Dragon: Our mates, they betray us. Or maybe they are going to. We must get ahead of it.

'Yes we do.' Azul eperate parts of his mind to converse up a counter plan to whateer was going on.

"Wake me when we get there." AzuI said to the driver. He felt the others start mediating. A few of them started talking about what they were gonna do when this was all over. Most of the Rune Eldar wanted to start foxusing on another Aspect of study. To add more to their personal arsenal. AzuI smiled as he slept. They had hope. More than he did last time. That would have to count for something.

The drive was slightly uneventful.

"Kaboom!" AzuI was jostled awake by cannon fire. Looking out, he saw what looked to be a few people firing at a caravan. He focused and saw in detail. Observe revealed what he suspected.

(P.l.e.a.s.u.r.e Cult Raider Lv18)

(P.l.e.a.s.u.r.e Cult Raider Lv 15)

(Raider Level 6)

A group of Raiders robbing... well other Raiders. AzuI gestured for the driver to get close as he stood up in the c.o.c.kpit. Telling the others to keep the transport shielded for additional defense. Two gunmen were to watch the hatches and take shots if things got too messy. AzuI jumped out and created some water slides to get next to the cannon.

"Hi!" AzuI said shocking the guy manning it. With a lift from his biotics, he slid away holding the cannon up in the air. As he slid all the way back to the transport he yelled. "Go, go, go!" He told the driver. "Thank you for the cannon. You know for planetary defense and all that. You should get out of here, Tyrannids and Necron are on their way. Bye!"

The expression on both raider groups were suprised. Even more so looking at the other Eldar with Azul. The power was intimidating. They looked at each other, and shot off back to their forces. Warning were going to be delivered.

Making it to their destination, AzuI was quite happy. Until he started working on the webway control.

"The archways are damaged." AzuI said to the group. He moved over to the side and activated the psyker signature inside. It rebuffed him.

Archway: Scan complete. Contamination detected.

"What contamination?!" AzuI kick the thing in anger. He could hear the others behind talking. They did not like the sound of that.

Archway: Psychic aggression detected. Flaw in Eldar Warhost.

"Uggghh, you have a flaw. You piece of junk!" Azul placed his hands on it. He slowy started running the Indoctrination on it with psychic energy. The Reaper node spread and poured massive loads of info Inside his mind. "You will obey me."

"Bzzzt!" The safguards started to go off. Psychic energy broke his connection.

System: Webway technology acquired.

Azul tucked that away inside his head.

"Now what Overlord?" The lead of the team asked.

"Mit .. now we break this bloody thing open. No point in going away empty-handed. Four of you plus you two." AzuI pointed to the stronger Psykers. "You are with me. The others head to the small settlements we passed by earlier. If we are not back in a day, head to the previous point to regroup."

They looked at each other and agreed. Staring at the archway, AzuI tried one more time.

Archway: Psychic aggression detected. A flaw in Eldar Warhost.

"I am breaking this thing down!"

Galtea: Wait, one moment Azul. Try circling just your Psyker Power into it. Isolate everything else calmly. it is picking up on your agitation.

Shrugging his shoulders, he did just that. In a few moments, the archway lit up and opened.

"Well, that just beats all." AzulI look back to the others. "Let's go and see what we can salvage." As soon as they went through the archway, he had Bass scan the entire area.

'Nothing is active. This.. the place is dead.' Lunabella voice grew low at the end. She knew how important this place was to me. 'I will get everything I can possibly be sorted and let you know.'

"Alright the place is more or less dead. Find what you can from these areas first." AzuI pssed over the locations the others found things at last time. He then pointed to a single corridor. "The weapons are that way. Get what we can use and I will head to the "Heart" of the place. Keep on alert. The defense might pop up on it's own accord. I dont trust that those power sources arent working. With my gene-seed, you should be recognized as friendless still. Should be."

They gave a wain smile before heading out. Azul sid not spend hours before finding the place this time. He went directly to where he needed. The Audience Chamber. It was still in pristine condition.

Galtea: Large surge of Psychic energy coming your way. Get ready!

Azul threw up his biotic shielding to get ready for the Eldar Gods. It was for nothing. All around the urn, fires were lighting up. The white flame flickered in a dancing motion.
