Today's Lesson: John 9

* Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind

- In verse 3, Jesus said that "neither the man nor his parents sinned but that happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life."

Do you think this is true for everyone and for all situations? Why and Why not? Defend you answer.

* Spiritual Blindness

- How many times was the man healed from blindness?

- Can we be like the blind man and say "I was blind but now I see!" Why and Why not?

- What did Jesus mean by his responses in 9:39-41? Explain it in your own words!

1. My answer is, " We[ must do the works of Him who sent Jesus while it is day. Night is coming when no one can work. As long as Jesus is in the world, He is the light of the world."

1. He is healed once by Jesus.

2. Yes. We should be proud of Jesus. Because He is a Wonderful Healer.

3. Verses :

39 Jesus said, "I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind."

40 Some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things and asked Him, "We aren't blind too, are we?"

41 "If you were blind," Jesus told them, "you wouldn't have sin.[h] But now that you say, 'We see'—your sin remains.

My only answer is, "Our eyes can cause us to sin. But, for the Pharasees,they have seen all things.they have do all things, and yet, their sins remained.

4. My learning today is, "Jesus is a Wonderful Healer, but Spiritual Blindness cannot be cured if they are not opened to Jesus."
