Today's Lesson: John 12:20-50

* Jesus predicts His Death

- What verse shows that Jesus is predicting His death?

- What verse shows that Jesus is indicating how He was going to die?

- Despite all the miraculous signs Jesus had done, why does most of the people still did not believe in Him?

1. v27 - "Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. 28 Father, glorify your name!"

2. v 31 - 32 - Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. And I, when I am lifted up[a] from the earth, will draw all people to myself." 33 He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die.

4. I learned in this lesson that Jesus is the Messiah. He came to the world to save people not to judge people. But, he only judge people on the last days of those who condemned him.
