[Ajamu Pov ]

it's the noun and I have just woke up after resting and my fatigue is zero again. I woke up to Miko standing beside my bed like a maid waiting for the master to wake up, but a second later I notice it's a shadow clone.

Miko: " Ajamu sama, good evening dinner is ready downstairs for you"

spreading my arms: " good evening to you too Miko, did something important happen while I was asleep"

Miko: " all tasks given to us has been seen through, my lord. expect for the spy network is still a work in progress, and Danzo has informed us that he has arranged for a meeting with all the clan heads and counsel to announce that we weren't responsible for the Kyuubi attack like you ordered and we have received the summoning for it by the Hokage himself this morning, my son and husband have met him and explained the situation, also Sasuke has been settling up even though he is mad about being put in Gengutsu or as he was told of what happened "

[flash back]

[ Third Hokage POV]

I was waiting for Itachi to report his mission done, 'it will hunt all my life giving him this mission but Donzo and the civilian consol had my arm tied', but he didn't all night I waited on high alert but he didn't come, I thought he failed, so I decided to go there with my trusted ninja after the night ended to see for myself.

but the strangest thing happened just as I was about to go I received a message from Danzo saying that he canceled the mission as a piece of new information was reviled that the Uchiha clan wasn't involved in the Kyuubi attack which I already said hundreds of time and that the Uchiha clan have dealt with the group who wanted to stage the coup and the funeral will be today before the meeting.

also, he somehow talked to the Uchiha new clan head whom I never saw and will be making a peace meeting to solve things peacefully with them. at that moment I was already thinking the world had ended I mean Danzo talking about peace and solving things peacefully is like see humans grow wings, I reread that message 5 times I tell you and still can't believe it, but still, I decided to go meat Fugaku and Itachi and hear from them.

sometimes later, I was close enough of the clan I came with only two ninjas not to show hostility, Shikaku Nara and Kakashi, despite only seeing two guards at the gate my instincts scream danger as I got closer and the feeling that I make one wrong move and my life will be forfeited, also the guards the discipline they showed and I couldn't sense their presence till I saw them, usually guards weren't that high ranked, high disciplined ninjas and most of the time they would look bored or tired from standing in the same place the whole day.

but those two stood there like if there slaked a little they would have committed treason and the atmosphere was sending the message tread carefully or die. but I am the Hokage and I have business here so I advance. as we were getting closer Kakashi and Nara voiced their opinion.

Nara: " Hokage sama, are you sure about something has changed about this place since the last time we have been here shouldn't you just retreat we will meet them in the meeting anyway"

Kakashi: "I agree with him, sir"

//to make something clear Nara and Kakashi don't know about Itachi mission they only know that there was a coup being staged and that last bight the Uchiha clan had a civil war dealing with it//

Hokage: " I must make sure of what happened Nara, you saw the letter from Danzo"

Nara look reluctant: "then tread carefully and be ready to escape at any time I and Kakashi will buy you enough time if needed"

once close enough to the gate the guards single us to stop and say: " Lord Hokage we have been expecting you Lord Gaku and Itachi are waiting for you please follow us in"

[Nara POV]

Nara: 'their way of speaking is too formal and they didn't even lower their heads to great the Hokage and they act like they are talking to a foreigner visiting their village and who is Gaku could they mean Fugaku'

just one step into the gate and two Guards that I haven't sensed nor my two companions showed to replace the ones leading us ' what happened here the guards are acting on discipline but not fear or worry and all we have to meet on the way doesn't seem concerned or troubled for a clan who just had a civil war, the place looked cleaned and no corpses on the road but traces of fighting and blood still remain'

' so a battle must have taken place in here, but their eyes every one we meet eyes doesn't seem affected and the way they treat us like passersby, I wonder what is going on behind all this'

[Hokage POV]

we are lead to a house but it's not the head clan house this is a great disrespect to my position a lesser man would have made this into a problem but let's move to the important stuff, I see Fugaku and Itachi waiting for me so some answers are finally possible.

Fugaku: " Lord Hokage welcome please let's go inside your escort can wait here, until we are finished " he said it in a way that told me he won't take no for an answer.

because the two I brought no nothing of the mission given to Itachi and I would like to keep it this way I accepted: " Fugaku my friend of course " then I look towards them and say: " wait here" to which they both seem to disagree to but I reply first saying it's an order.

I head inside following Fugaku and Itachi once in a room Fugaku tells me to sit and we all did and he offers me tea but doesn't drink himself only Itachi does.

I break the silence asking:" Fugaku, what happened here?" I ask hoping he doesn't know about the mission given to Itachi

// here I will explain that according to Danzo, Itachi's mission was canceled so he didn't proceed or killed anyone, so the only problem here is the fact the Hokage issued such a mission if the clan head of any clan knows that his son was ordered to kill his entire clan it's a problem//

Gaku: "I go by the name Gaku now Hogake san it was bestowed upon me by Ajamu sama the current clan head and for what happened after the mission given to my son by you and the council yesterday my clan would have gone extinct and my son would have been a traitor to both the village and the clan but thinks to Ajamu sama efforts we were speared and those who stilled wanted to revolt they were dealt with but they are still Uchiha clan members and the funeral will be heald today so please do attend"

I was already sweating bullets looking between Itachi and Fugaku at the mention of the mission and the rest of his words don't make me less nervous and the way he said it like it was a settled thing in the past and doesn't matter anymore is no less than terrifying.

and who is this Ajamu that he speaks of, like that of an idol, this is bad I feel like in sitting in someone's palm and one word could end me.

I stand then bow my head: " I am terribly sorry Fugaku no Gaku please forgive the village I will shoulder all this so please don't hold the village and its people responsible for this"

Gaku with a calm voice answers: " I follow Ajamu sama now Hiruzen san the village and what you did no longer concern me or my clan the only reason we stay here is that his lordship is here, what he wishes for the future of this clan and this village is him and him only to decide"

Hiruzen: ' who is he? how could he win this much loyalty here? he doesn't even say his name without notification yet he calls me by my name and title only'

Hiruzen: "then I wish to meet I will apologize personly and make amends with him"

Gaku: " I am sorry but Ajamu sama is resting at the moment and is not to be disturbed"

Hiruzen: " Gaku san I understand what I did was unforgivable but I am still the Hokage and me wishing to meet him is a summons he must answer" I shouldn't have said that I really shouldn't have said that the atmosphere in here turned cold, too cold.

Gaku's eyes showed anger that wasn't there when we even talked about the mission I give just because I wanted him to wake up this Ajamu then he said with an ice-cold voice: " the only authority here is that of Ajamu sama the Uchiha clan of Konoha died yesterday this clan recognizes no village nor authority but the one Ajamu sama acknowledges, you have overstepped your gust right here Hokage please leave, Ajamu sama will be informed about your wish to meet him when he had his rest" what is this I feel, this fear of this Ajamu . Gaku's words carried absolute, undisputed truth and belief, and the fact that Itachi is calm and doesn't even seem to want to go against his father's words proves it.

I must show power to let him know that going against or leaving the village will spell trouble for him and his clan" FUGAKU YOU SEEM TO FORGET WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO IAM THE HOKAGE AND THIS IS MY VILLAGE DO YOU THINK YOU CAN DO AS YOU LI....." I couldn't even finish and in front of me fell Nara and Kakhi tied up and there was a blade to my throat

Gaku says in a hushed with a tone that only spells death: " Hogake san I thought It old you that Ajamu sama is resting do you want to disturb his rest this much, lower your voice or I will cut your throat, nod if you understand" I unknowingly noded

Gaku : " good as I said we are done talking here and Ajamu sama will be informed of your wish to meet him please take your escort and follow the two men outside out of the clan"

I could do nothing but do as I was told to think one day this will happen to me, I the Hogake gets treated and kicked out like that because of an unknown clan head.

I look behind me as the gate close after I exist " who are you Ajamu "
