At a wedding hall stood a man and a woman they were the bride and the groom of today.

the man and woman stood with bright smiles and happy faces, those two were Ajamu Algar and Maria Lionson, these two were engaged since they were 13 when Ajamu and his after went to another kingdom as the king escort.

she was the third daughter of the King and when they meet in the welcome party, sparks flew between them and they spent a big part of the party talking to each other, his father and king saw that and arranged for situations for the two to meet to see if something can happen and by the end of the second week of the visit.

Ajamu expressed his feelings of liking her and wanting to court her and the King being close to his father spoke for him and asked for a betrothal between the two, and the King agreed as she was the third daughter and Ajamu father was high ranking and the king considered him brother so If he refused it will spell eminently between the two kingdoms.

and the courting started till the end of the visit after that trips were made sometimes Ajamu will travel to her and sometimes the other way around for her to see the house she will become the Duchess of.

the two grow to love each other so much that by the time they were 15 they wanted to have an early marriage despite most marriages being when both reach 16. and when she came to his house, they would spend the entire day together and a couple of times not even sleeping and staying up all night together, just to not wast the time she will stay here for before going back.

and today was their wedding, the smiles and love could be felt in the atmosphere, flowers and music are all around and the wedding carried on and it was a great event that the king and royal family attended them selfs.

fast forward 4 years, and they two were considered the saddest couple, and all around them pitied them.

the reason for that in those 4 years, his wife had two children died stillborn and 2 miscarriages, this shattered the heart of both of them. Ajamu for not being able to do anything to help his wife and children and Maria because according to the doctor that the problem was her, her body couldn't support bearing children but they still tried.

Ajamu being the man he is supported her and never held her responsible for this or balmed her because it was never her fault and every time they had the sad news he would spend all his time counseling her and trying to make a little easier on her.

but after the fourth failed the doctor told her not to try again or she will die, her body had regressed due to the 4 child carrying and couldn't take it anymore. and even Ajamu was okay with this and he had already told her it was okay and he was happy as it is, and that he wasn't willing to watch her die for this.

but she couldn't turn a blind eye to all that is around them, she was his wife and everyone they knew that married at the same time or after them has had a couple of children and theirs of their own.

and she couldn't ignore the fact that he had fights and lost friends and made animes of any former friend that even suggested having another wife to bear him an heir.

so she insisted on trying again and when he refused her, she stops eating and drinking anything till he agreed saying that ' you trying to stop me from dying of birth then I will die of hunger'. after 3 days of not eating and with an already weak body she fainted and was taken to a doctor but even after asking up she still refused the medicine and food.

so Ajamu agreed to try again, just to save her, and every time she asked him to do share their bed he would make excuses that her body is still healing but this only bought him only a month.

and after her fifth pregnancy was conformed, Ajamu did everything he could from all the food medician and doctors even if it was across the seas he got to increase her chances of survival.

but no the less it didn't work, from the first day of the fifth month till the 20th of the six months her health only kept getting worse and her body was getting paler and paler.

and by the 25th she died with the baby, hearing the news of her die broke Ajamu and he literally went into a coma for 30 days and when he woke up. the most shocking thing is that when his family tried to console him about Maria he replied: " Maria who?" he didn't remember.

His brains in an attempt to save him from the pain, locked up all the memories of her, his family after counseling multiple doctors and found no cure and worse some doctors suggested leaving it like this or else he may die on shock if he is forcefully made to remember.

so his father too him once he was healthy enough away from the city and the house and kept him as his second command close to the battel fields for some time in hops that time will heal him.

and from that day Ajamu put all his talent in the military helping his father gather more achievements, his father kept an eye on him and from time to time tried to refresh his memories directly or indirectly to the time that he knew or married Maria but it didn't work and days turned months and months turned years.

and even after 3 years when his family decides that maybe a new love could heal the old wound, Ajamu never showed any interest in any other woman he met.

this continued till the war started and he died.

[after she died]

she stood in front of vail that hid light that can blind her behind it, but this wasn't what was in her mind as she stood there with tears and pain then the sat and hugged er legs while weeping: "Ajamu I am sorry, I am sorry, I only made you suffer because of me".

Lusis: " hi there child, take your time but time has come for a choice that may help you"

she kept weeping for a while then left her head asking: " help me how?"

Lusis: " look child I am not bound by time so I saw a future where your Ajamu abilities took my eyes and I hired him as a Guardian for the worlds I look after, and I also saw his pain that even death couldn't heal and that he spent his life even after death loyal to you even without knowing it "

Maria: " what do you mean by pain and without knowing it? what happened to Ajamu?"

he waved his hand and showed her his coma and his life till he died, seeing what his death resulted in her weeping grow louder and it took her sometime till Lusis interested her.

Lusis: " it is okay child even in the darkest time there will always be light, I being who I am I look after my people and in the future, he becomes one of my people so I will give you a chance I will reincarnate you in the world he takes up first in most the futures but you won't be born with the memories"

she is stirring at the vail where she thinks the sound is coming from with a glimmer of hope into her eyes.
