Dawn Of Twilight

Chapter 10 - Training 4

Firstly, he notices the dark fog had turned into a world made of white mist. Some parts of it appeared to be dim, while the others were a bit hazy.

In his line of sight, he could see a black hazy silhouette swiftly moving through the fog, its features were hazy due to the fact it's was within the innermost part of the hazy fog.

Tobi could see these fogs would occasionally become hazy the moment the hazy silhouette move toward the particular part, then become hazier after that.

'An invisible enemy doesn't mean it's undefeatable. There is no need to fear it.' A muffled voice suddenly said in his mind.

At this moment Tobi was now sure, Horus was probably giving him hints and making things much easier for him.

Secondly, instinctively he notices his mind and body were naturally calmer than usual, as they began to operate in unison.

'By infusing yourself with fire elemental Mana, you could burn up the fog around you' The muffled voice replied to Tobi.

With each breath he began to call upon an endless elemental Mana, letting it directly merge with his body rather than going through the process of merging with his Mana core first.

'Wow, the flame is on!'

As his body went through the process of being endowed with an indefinite amount of elemental Mana, Tobi's whole body was suddenly filled with a tremendous amount of fiery flames, though his clothes were burning. He could easily ignore it, through the use of earth elemental Mana.

Once again Tobi was astonished, he could have thought he was being burnt alive, if not for the fact that the fire neither gave him heat nor pain.

Soon, he was able to ignore the fog around him and spring back to his feet with a kip-up.

'With a tremendous amount of fire, you could be a moving volcano.' With that voice giving him hints on what to do in his head, instinctively like a rhythm he began to ingrain every word the voice said, the intensity of the flame increased before burning the fog up to 20feets around him. While he created a flaming ring around him, that burnt brightly.

While Horus was within the fog, he seemed to be in a daze as he stares at Tobi, his brows twitch from time to time in surprise.

Before Horus could recover from his surprise, he felt where he was standing on had become sticky with the earth becoming soft, though he thought nothing of it a few seconds would be needed to get off it.

After Tobi imbues the earth with enough Mana to make it sticky, he followed the words of the voice as he up-pecked his heightened senses. With the fire burning brightly around him, he could slightly see through the hazy fog with this new version of Mana's vision.

Tobi could tell the hazy silhouette of Horus hiding far from him was slowly becoming clearer. At this moment, Tobi imbued himself with all the air elemental Mana he could muster.

Moving fast enough towards the hazy silhouette, he performed a "Bust". A loud bang resounded in the fog, as he blinked from his position to right in front of the hazy silhouette of Horus.

Using the fire that was burning through his entire body, granted Tobi a short burst of explosive strength. While Tobi was moving forward he punched towards the silhouette in the fog immediately pulverizing the fog surrounding him.

By using that much force, together with "Bust" his right fist was like a flaming meteor shooting forward before feeling a subtle obstruction in front of him, but then the obstruction seemed to be becoming more hardened and his right limb felt like it couldn't move past it position and before he knew, it felt like it was being immobilized in three different places within his arm, first was his elbow, second the ulna and thirdly the radius of his right hand, they seemed to had suddenly become shattered from both a and the obstruction he felt.

The tremendous force that was transmitted, released a sudden shocked impulse that almost made him faint, as he took a few staggering steps backward.

While he felt his consciousness was a blur from both the impact and being empty of Mana. Tobi cursed himself for his weakness and helplessness, even after listening to Horus's guidance and following all the hints it could only get him a handicapped right arm.

His right arm felt numb, even as he was trying to heal it, he still felt the itchy pain.

Meanwhile, he stood there in the fog dazed, as he waited to be beaten again, at least it would be saving him the stress of embarrassing himself.

A few seconds passed, the expected punch didn't arrive nor did the fog get stronger, rather it felt as if it was slowly dissipating but he didn't know why.

"Congratulations, young master. You passed the test" Horus said, as he stood amidst the dissipating fog with a big smile hung on his face.

Tobi was in a fluster, The word 'Test' was repeatedly contradicting itself with the beatings and hints he received, in his head, what test? Did he mean all those struggles and then the hints he followed were all a test?

His mind was busy trying to process, all that Horus had just said. This was because he knew without Horus giving him those hints it would have been difficult for him. After finding out it was all a test, Tobi found it hard to believe it.

And of course, Horus could be joking about the test of a thing but he didn't see any reason for him to. After thoroughly thinking about this, Tobi felt calm again.

Even though he had received the beatings of his life, he had also received his help in return which had helped him adjust his mental capacity when they were training. Which was starting to make him rethink, the position of his strength when compared to the previous Pride Dracula in his age.

Looking at Horus's face, he seemed to be rather happy with the battle results. Though he couldn't tell why it must be had been something good right?
