Chapter 6 - A tour

The dragon lion didn't continue speaking at this point, he calmly waited for Tobi to process all that he had just said.

Even though he was a bit disbelief, from getting a new master. But, how was this young child going to cope with all this responsibility and burdens of being a Pride?

Master had died many, many years ago and the child in front of him didn't look past the age of five years. Sure enough, even when he first met his master, he was much more mȧturėd compared to this child.

This child must have, surely had a rough life and experience, for him to still be standing here calmly.

"Thanking you, for telling me all of this," Tobi said, sincerely. "Though, I don't really know exactly what going on or happened to your master. I'm still sorry, about all of this, I didn't wish or ask for any of this, so am really sorry if I tried to take the place of your master."

Tobi felt saddened while saying this, but most of all what he said were because he was afraid the dragon might go sour with him.

The dragon lion looked at Tobi's small figure from top to bottom, he thought the child was quite pitiful and look quite innocent. And of course, he knew of how they had been looking for the incarnations of the sins and numerous children had also died in the process.

He felt his heart grew soft, as he stared at the small child in front of him. He couldn't help but form a grin on his face.

"I don't know how tough and rough, your life must have been previously, but I feel it not in my place to ask. My loyalties lie with my master Pride Dracula, and you are currently Pride Dracula. So whenever you need me, I shall be there for you, master."

As he said that, he slowly bent his back forward and knelt on one knee.

"Just like when I first met my previous master, and with you being my new master. I Horus the Lord of skies, promise I will forever remain loyal even in death."

Tobi stood there dazed for some time, unsure of what to do, as this was so unexpected. He knew if he didn't resolve this soon, this might become awkward as he gave out a dried cough.

"Erm, you may arise," Tobi said, stuttering his words and fumbling over them, as he felt this might be a dream.

"Yes, young master," Horus said, with the biggest smile on his face.

"Hmm, young master just like the other sins, there are still a lot of things you need to learn. The way you are now, won't be fit for your coronation a few years from now. If you want, I could train you to become stronger, that if master is up for it?" Horus asked, maintaining the smile on his face.

"Of course," Tobi replied, with a smile too.

When asked whether or not Tobi was ready for the training, he didn't hesitate to say yes. The reason being he needed to get stronger than he could ever imagine and really badly.

Looking at Horus, he seemed rather anticipated to begin. There were likely more things, he would get to learn in the future as Pride Dracula.

On top of this, he felt his knowledge about Mana core and Mana, were more or less a mess. Even if he were to train himself, back in the village he might not likely end up with a good result.

For example, when Tobi fully awakened Bella back in the village, he was utterly confused because his Mana core and that of his sister had a different shade of colors.

While showing Tobi around, Horus began to feel a bit embarrassed. Due to his mourning, he had forgotten most of these rooms still existed. Most of them were all covered in dust, and it looked like they were filled with cobwebs.

Apparently, most of the rooms were only used when the previous Pride Dracula was alive. Horus explained most of the rooms, had a history behind them. So they had been of little use after the previous Pride Dracula died.

Carrying on with their tour, there seemed to be a research room, and a library, among which were things like the previous Pride Dracula broken weapons placed on the wall like a national treasure.

Looking at all the empty space and thinking about such large buildings being completely empty, Tobi felt like if he was to live here, it would have been an incredibly lonely place to live.

Eventually, while looking around, they came across a large door a few meters in width and height. It was stationed near a library and had a strange symbol of a metal half-moon on the body of it. The symbol was half a looking-shaped moon that had several full moons surrounding its peripherals. Inspecting it closely, it looked as if it had been engraved and the lines had a silver glow to them, similar to crystals.

The door stood out, compared to the rest of the places they had been previously before or had managed to see so far

"What behind the big door?" Tobi asked curiously since Horus seemed not to notice the door for some reason, as he had walked past it.

"That would be the previous master storage room, arsenal, and armories artifacts," Horus replied. "Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, it just that I don't have access to what in the room.

"Neither do you, at the moment."

Though, It wasn't the answer he was looking for, but it was a much better answer than he had expected. Such, a minor matter could be resolved later.

With the tour over, Horus was ready to start the training Tobi into a full Pride Dracula.
