Dawn Of Twilight

Chapter 75 - Twilight Creation

At that moment, Christy, Christopher, and Bell were on their way back to the house. Upon hearing a high pitch scream, they had taken their pace to rush back home, as their mind run wild with fear and panic from the unknown possible outcomes.

Christy and Bell, already had red teary eyes as Christopher tried comforting them on their way, trying to make the best of their unknown adverse situation.

When they arrived, they found the door was already opened. And John lying by the side shivering in wet pants.

He appeared ghostly pale, Bell was given the task to check on him.

With their son's situation unknown, Christopher and Christy rushed inside. Only to witness two black-cloaked figures shivering on the floor. Christopher already had a suspicion when he saw them, but was flustered as to what had happened to them?

Christy had already made her way towards Tobi, afraid that something bad must have happened to him. His body seemed both cold and sweaty, and his face pale and he appeared to be much quiet than usual.

While Christopher was steaming with anger, he was forced to calm himself down. Cause he could already imagine dead bodies when looking at them, after taking a few mouthfuls of cold breaths he walked towards them slowly.

At that time he noticed something, their bodies seemed to be shaking uncontrollably. However, his rage was already blazing to calm himself just like that, as he needed something to vent his anger on possibly, a few punches would do and then strictly reprimand them.

However, he found it hard to believe what was happening, as he turned one of the hooded figures to face himself. He noticed the person was shivering under the hood, with strangely muffled murmurs.

"Demon..... child..... Strange.... demonic.....scream.." Now he was completely sure they were crazy and maybe making up a scene, and someone was maybe trying to frame his family up? but why would they do such a thing? What would they gain?

He had grown up in this village, as well got married and even giving birth to all his children here, he had always been the cool-headed type of person, he was sure he had never created enmity with anyone nor had a fight with anybody.

But this... Christopher drew a gasp as many helpless and confused guesses surfaced in his mind.

For now, he would not touch them, to not make a rash move that would affect him or his family. But they would be reported to the village head to handle such matter so that it will never occur again.

"Is it because he was born a so-called 'demon' child? Was it their fault to be born that way? How can they treat an innocent child like this? What had they done to deserve such ill will from the villagers?" Christy said as tears trickle down her eyes.

Christopher felt depressed, he hated the villagers and their guts too. Wasn't children supposed to be a great thing of joy? Then why treat the so-called demon male differently?

After that event, they tried seeking answers from John but all he could do was blame Tobi. While accusing Tobi of being a misfortune.

It made Christopher and Christy disappointed, they already had several suspicions from Bell and Bella complains about him and Tobi.

Since whenever he would feed him, Tobi was always hungry than usual. Now they could feel a hint of malice. Which they needed to do something about so that he could amend his ways. After that day Christopher made a few announcements, including Christy feeding Tobi, and John taking her shift to serve as confinement.

After serving a generous amount of pepper soup and milk, Tobi could finally pay attention as to what had happened.

Days of trial and error experiments went on, as he tried various abilities he could come up with, or think of related to that event. After skipping various abilities he had gotten no progress except for a multitude of failures.

Even though he had not grown up in fantasy, he had read lots of novels and had often fantasized over the MC evolution or ways to become overpowered species.

However, he momentarily found it hard to accept the situation when he found himself in one.

With numerous failures and no results, Tobi had already cursed which gods made his sudden reincarnation, if not for the fact he could still remember what happened previously as clear as a day. He would have suspected that he was trap in some kind of weird voodoo illusion.

Meanwhile, Tobi had discovered a weird phenomenon that from time to time, his body would go wild and he would be forced, or rather he would have no choice but to forcefully quit intake of food. And if he chooses to forcefully eat any, each part of his body would ache all day long, causing him extreme pain with a high fever.

Which didn't go unnoticed, as his parents thought it was the after-effects of the previous event, they could only feed him local herbs in hopes of curing the fever.

This progress made him realize something was wrong with his body but didn't know what it was, and again his family in his mind appeared to be fresh than usual something he felt a bit unique to only meat.

While studying himself, he found out that he needed less and less sleep, to feel energize without his body worn out. The second phenomenon was the result of him slightly being able to see faintly in the darkness.

Tobi searched his memory as he thought to himself 'this was probably what it means to love fantasy right?'. His thought ran back and forth until he found the answer.

'Twilight creations!'

He started thinking, his theory might be wrong, but what if he was somehow correct?

These were his thought, but he still couldn't make heads or tails about why he would become a vampire or werewolf. Was that what he had been given as his wishes? Couldn't he have just chosen some gods likeability?

If he were a vampire would he have to constantly search for blood? Or maybe drink blood for the rest of his life and always hide from the sun?

Or worse, going through hellish torture for just his first shapeshifting into a werewolf. And in full moon the bad news was he going into rage from John hellish taunting, and what would happen in front of his whole family?

Wouldn't that be telling everyone, 'hey am a demon child' confirming their doubts to get rid of him?

Tobi wasn't satisfied, though he loved twilight creations. But deluding himself to think that, feeding himself on a bunch of neighborhood blood or shapeshifting in front of his whole family wasn't terrifying, would mean he was naive and stupid.

Back on earth, he might have one time wished for it but not anymore. He didn't want an ability that would hurt his family, or make them wary of him.

But what if he could change everything? There wasn't much he could do except if only he knew a way to control himself or a technique.
