Dawn Of Twilight

Chapter 8 - Training 2

"Your understanding is egotistical. You tried to do everything through your own understanding, using only the most ordinary natural Mana. That why you couldn't control your urge for blood, because your Mana core was too weak to serve as a proper reservoir."

"Also, in the process, you forged a fake connection with the natural Mana, forcefully Awakening your abilities but in doing so you surprisingly created a great inner strength, for a child of five years old."

"Now, instead, after your Hybrid Awakening making you an entirely new being. I am teaching you how to strengthen the core and how to borrow the world's mana through your bloodline. It's like the difference between lifting something by a toddler and doing another by a mȧturė ȧduŀt.

"That's a trait that permeates mankind's whole life, just like the celestials ŀust for power and blood. That's why even if you had followed that path, you would have still become a true Ancient vampire, but only a rank 5 Radiant Moon at best.

"Without, further evolving into a Hybrid, but also before you even think of becoming a Breaking Dawn Primal, you'd be forever stuck in the Crossroad of Radiant Moon."

"And to become one, you must accept the world's natural element, and the world element must accept you back in return. Only by giving back your understanding of a world element the planet has given you, it's possible to pass the world's tribulations and reach the Breaking Dawn State."

Tobi felt a bit embarrassed, as he wondered how his sister might cope without such valid knowledge, and once again he felt how small his existence was, only with enough power could he reunite with his family.

They smiled before laughing, heartfully. After spending so much time together, they were getting fond of each other with each passing day.

"Have you finished, eating. Because you stink a lot for a bathe."

"Wait, wait...almost done." A sudden strong gust of warm wind lifted him upward and as well cutting his phrase, before dropping him at the lion Mane of Horus.

"What the heck? Couldn't you just wait until I was done with the meal? I was really hungry after your boring lessons." Tobi had landed on Horus lion Mane, before materializing on a large warm lake, the blue water had hot steam emitting from it as it slowly engulfs his small figure.

With the last few months spent with Horus, he learned he had numerous rooms, some so big it seemed like a little world of its own except humans and wild animals. And as well, he learned about his study of spacetime dimension magic, and fire, which allowed him to be able to expand a small village to a big country and a big country to a large continent or even born down an entire continent to oblivion.

And, thanks to the constant refinement of his Mana core, with the cleansing of the black impurities and Horus special cooking's, Tobi had become a standard rank 1 Hybrid with vapor Mana within his Mana core, his improvement left Horus flabbergasted.

"Hey, young master hurry up. It's time for some martial art training."

"Okay." Tobi nodded.

"This training would be an invaluable help to your combat ability as a Awakened Hybrid," Horus said, as they slowly walked into a yellow grass field void of any persons or creatures at least from its eerie silence.

"Where, is this?" Tobi asked, a bit flustered. The place looked like a country in terms of it size, as he couldn't make out the ends of the environment even with his hybrid eyesight.

And apart from the dried yellow grasses on the ground, the clouds in the sky seemed to be yellow as well making it looked like the sun was arising. But something else quickly caught his attention on the ground, he could make out large black areas at least the size of a big town, as if the grasses there had been burnt to crisps.

There were numerous crevices and cracks, on the black areas. As well as large craters that seemed to be made, from explosions.

"These, was where I and the previous Pride Dracula trained. And these shacked craters with crevices, are from the all-out burst of pure strength without using more than a third of our Mana's." Horus said with a sigh.

Tobi suffered from the idea, of imagining how much strength was needed to cause such an explosive scene. Until that moment he had only read or seen such, in s, mangas, and movies.

Despite all this, he couldn't let it distract him as he felt more eager to be trained. Though, when he was at the village he had one time tried to practice martial arts, but the skill was bȧrėly equivalent to that of an amateur fighter.

The only aspect he had managed to improve was the footwork, creating his movement technique "Bust". Even that had been possible because the initial process was from the constant banging in the woods.

Without a professional master, or sparring partner to watch over his moves and correct his mistakes. There was only so much he could do by himself.

He could either make an earth golem move or train through the use of trees, in the forest. He was not at the point where he could train, and watch over every mistake he would make. Making an earth golem perform humanlike movement was even harder because both the earth golem and himself require constant concentration even the slightest mistake would ruin everything.

That only meant he could only put the earth golem in position, and practice while they are once again still. Even though his body was strong, and he could heal from little wounds and such, his body was still clumsy. To make real progress, he needed to feel the zeal of the fight, he needed to be hit and suffer small setbacks from his moving target.

Yet, Tobi couldn't seek anyone for help. First, how could he tell anyone about his supernatural abilities? How could he explain he wanted to train in what even the villagers had never seen or heard of, and even if they did what reason would they teach that to a demon child? Who could possibly end them?

That why he could only perfect, his techniques by sneaking into the forest.
