Death: Beginning Of A Beautiful Love Story

XiaoAi's POV :

It has been a week since Lu Xiang declared his love to me and truthfully it has been a bliss, I never thought I could get a chance at love again in this life. I have decided that today i'll talk to him and clear out all our misunderstandings. I have tried to before but he keeps on avoiding it.

The day passed by in a blur and its already evening, I asked almost every soul where my husband is and at last I am going to our bedroom to search.

I open the door and make eye contact with the most handsome creature on this planet in just a towel wrapped around his waist with droplets of water gliding through his hair onto his face making him the hottest and s.e.xiest person alive. ' How can someone be so handsome?' I ask myself.

I make my way towards him and link our arms together.

It's like he knows what I'm going to talk about he doesn't even raise his eyes to meet mine.

I lead us to the bed and sit us both down facing each other.

"Lu Xiang, look at me", he still does not and so I continue.

"You know we'll have to sort things out between us if we want to make this work......please"

Lu Xiang's POV

I raise my eyes and meet XiaoAi's .

They look so beautiful that I just feel like staring at them all day long.

"What is it that you want to talk about?", I ask her successfully masking my emotions as I speak.

She shifts uncomfortably and starts to speak.

"Lu Xiang I'll tell you a story and promise you won't interrupt me before I finish", I nod to her pleading gaze.

She breathes in sharply and starts

"There was a girl who had everything she could ever wish for, a sweet family, a loving boyfriend, a best friend and to her delight she had just entered second year of college. Everything was going good when one day , on her boyfriend's birthday she goes to his house and sees her boyfriend half n.a.k.e.d with her best friend under him".

She inhales sharply before starting and my heart starts racing at the thought of this story being way too familiar.

"Her boyfriend said to her best friend ' she shouldn't find out about this I love her too mush to lose her', these words warm her heart and she leaves the house. Time passes by and she acts like she doesn't know what is happening behind her back but she knows that she is being cheated on by the two most important people behind her back ", tears streamed down her face while a lone tear escaped mine. I know what she is talking about, I never thought she'll know but she does.

"That girl is me Lu Xiang ", my breath hitched at this

"And that boy is you but I've long forgiven you" , I release a breath I didn't knew I was holding .

I slowly shift closer to her and lift her to my l.a.p. Tears keep streaming down her face as I bury my face in the crook of her neck and start to sob.

I cry for all the times her heart was in pain because of me, I cry for when she his her tears and faked a smile, I don't know for how long we were in that position before I gently laid us both on the bed, our eyes locked with each other and pull her close to my c.h.e.s.t. I inhale a scent and we both drift off to sleep together at the same time in each other's embrace.
