Death: Beginning Of A Beautiful Love Story

Lu Xiang's POV

I wake up with XiaoAi wrapped in my arms with a peaceful look on her face which gives me a homely feeling, her beautiful face covered with her soft brownish hair giving her a tender look. Slowly the memories from last night came to me and I started fearing the worse.

'Did she tell me all this so that she can leave me?...I didn't even thought that she knew about all this....was this what she wanted to tell me all along?'

All these questions were eating me from the inside, I know what I did in the past is worth a trip to hell and back but I cannot lose XiaoAi again or I won't be able to live with myself.

No wonder she left me to die, if it was me in her place I would've killed her and her lover with my own hands.

I can't let her leave me, I'll beg her for forgiveness, I'll do whatever it takes to get her to forgive me, to trust me and to love me.

I have decided that once she wakes up I'll show her how much I love and cherish her.

XiaoAi's POV

I wake with two arms wrapped around me, I struggle under the weight on my waist when my gaze falls on Lu Xiang staring intently on me which makes me feel a little intimidated. All the memories from last night make their way to my thoughts and I'm unable to make eye contact with the handsome man in front of me.

Two fingers gently push my chin upwards and my gaze meets Lu Xiang' s , I wait for him to say something with pleading eyes. After a few minutes his beautiful voice makes its way to my ears

"Hey love, good morning", he whispers and it makes me feel like i'll just vanish from the face of this planet in the next second, his breath tickles the crook of my neck and I become well aware of the lack of space between us. It makes my heart flutter, I can't help but think that maybe ....just maybe we can be normal and have a beautiful life and once again I wish that our every morning is like this full of love.

"Good morning", I reply and my cheeks feels a little too warm and I know that by now they must have a beautiful light shade of scarlet.

There is a peaceful silence between us which disperses as my sweet love speaks again

"You see I was thinking that maybe we can give us another try ...only if you want....and maybe be like when we were in college", he looks a little hesitant while speaking and I have to force a giggle back and put my serious face back on.

I give him a look which says 'are you serious?' and makes him look like a lost and broken puppy and I just can't stop myself from planting a sweet kiss on his lips.

I look down, embarrassed to meet his gaze and a smile graces my lips. He snuggles closer to me and rubs our cheeks together.....how I wish that this dream never ends.

He playfully bites on my earlobe causing my breath to hitch and seductively whispers in his husky morning voice

" How about we take a long bath together just like the old time?",

And I just know that I'm beetroot red because of his deep chuckle. He picks me up bridal style and I wrap my arms around his neck and laugh as he playfully swings me while walking. I have decided that I'm gonna make this work.
