Divine Emperor of Death

2624 Sending One Out

"I will send you out, but you three wouldn't go. She will go."

"Who?"

Tanya looked around, wondering who the Frostcloud Sword Empress wanted to send. However, she saw that the Frostcloud Sword Empress was pointing toward her.

"Yes. I'm talking to you, the spirit in Tanya."

"Pia...?"

Tanya blinked when suddenly a flash of icy light appeared by her side, manifesting into an icy-white-robed woman who looked very much like Iesha. Icy-blue crowns adorned the sides of her head, radiating with immense yin energy. However, it was unlike Iesha's, brimming with more instability as she hadn't managed to completely control her overgrown powers yet.

"Are you also one of their husband's women?"

The Frostcloud Sword Empress asked as Pia blinked, causing the latter to silently shakes her head. She, an Immortal Stage Ice Spirit with prowess at the Immortal King Stage, was still shocked that she was forced out of Tanya's soul sea with just a glance.

Just how powerful was this remnant soul?

"Perfect. I'll send you out, so whether he's outside or nearby, go call him here. Until then, I'll have a chat with these three."

With a wave of her hand, the Frostcloud Sword Empress caused Pia to disappear, causing Tanya and Iesha to frown their brows, both becoming worried about where the Frostcloud Sword Empress sent her. However, they remained hopeful as they believed that the Frostcloud Sword Empress wouldn't be so deceptive as they came to understand that she was inwardly full of warmth.

"Tanya. Do you believe that she will return?"

"Of course." Tanya lightly smiled, "Why wouldn't she? Is there a reason for me to doubt that she wouldn't come back after calling husband?"

"I just said that she gets to inherit my inheritance if she delivers a message to your husband that all three of you have decided to abandon him to gain an opportunity to become my personal disciple."

"...!"

Tanya became shocked while Natalya narrowed her brows.

"Frostcloud Sword Empress, what is this? Surely, this is not a way to conduct to trial."

"It is indeed not, but I still think it is within my right. Part of why Tanya managed to comprehend my sword intent is because you had your spirit's advice, don't you?"

"Yes..." Tanya's lips twitched, but she didn't hesitate to admit, "Pia did allow me to understand some things as she had betrayed the person she adores the most in the past and absolutely regrets it, allowing me to understand the essence of abandoning when one needed my help the most and in turn, made me understand the third essence more easily. Since Pia could teach me, I also believe that she wouldn't do it again."

Iesha looked at Tanya's warm words that echoed in a cold tone, causing her to smile. She was glad that these two had a good relationship.

"Oh? She has such a past. That's even more interesting then..."

However, the Frostcloud Sword Empress's tone became more amused as she seemed to smile behind her veil, causing Tanya and the others to blink.

This was a side they hadn't seen from the magnificent and cold exterior of the Frostcloud Sword Empress. However, she was more life-like than the cold statue she portrayed herself to be.

Nonetheless, the Frostcloud Sword Empress saw that Tanya and the others particularly didn't look worried but appeared a bit angered, especially Natalya and Iesha. She couldn't help but ask.

"Are you two not worried that Tanya's spirit would-"

"It's useless." Natalya cut off the Frostcloud Sword Empress, causing the latter to squint her brows.

"You have such belief in a man who has so many options? If he could give away such treasures, I'm pretty sure that he is extremely wealthy and probably also has other women by his side other than you three."

"That's true. We have so many sisters, and there doesn't go by a day where it's boring. We're either cultivating or always have something to talk about, and when it's some topic about him, we always go crazy~"

"..."

Natalya cheerfully smiled, and her anger was nowhere to be seen, causing the Frostcloud Sword Empress to be stumped. She was once again able to see how obsessed she was with her husband.

"Lies don't work against husband. If Pia does something stupid like lying to him, even I will not be able to protect her anymore." Iesha softly spoke as she shook her head and added.

It further caused the Frostcloud Sword Empress to squint her brows, this time wondering how mysterious he could be. Couldn't be lied to?

"Is he an Immortal King or an Immortal Emperor?" The first thing she could think of was this matter was that he could be a higher-level cultivator capable of detecting the changes in one's soul fluctuations, allowing him to sometimes determine lies and truth.

"In that case, he shouldn't be able to enter here even if he wants to. I could only go greet him outside."

The Frostcloud Sword Empress added. However, Tanya shook her head.

"No need. Our man is an Immortal Stage Cultivator like us, but it would be better if you would allow me to treat him to some tea while he carries his shoes here for us. I'm afraid that we have disturbed him from defeating the menace that is the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend and saving the day by stopping the calamity from imploding."

The Frostcloud Sword Empress couldn't help but smile. Were they actually considering treating him with more respect, like an elder in front of her?

This was a slap to her face, but she was becoming more and more interested in knowing about this mysterious man who had these three beauties vouching for him.

However, she couldn't help but open her mouth.

"The Unfettered Behemoth Ice Fiend that I sealed in the icy abyss still hasn't been eliminated yet?"

"...!?"

The confident gleam in Natalya, Tanya, and Iesha's gazes froze, their faces instantly swiveling towards the Frostcloud Sword Empress with immense shock exuding from their expressions.

Behemoth... what?
