A slap over his shoulder woke Davis out of his reverie, causing him to turn to look at Mingzhi.

"What are you looking at? You're not eying their bandit sister, are you?"

She raised her brows, causing Davis to smile.

"If I did, would she be able to resist?"

"Woah, that's some huge confidence you have there."

"Well, after making love with twenty dazzling women while even some Celestial Fairies are pining for an evil man like me, you would think it would be strange if I didn't have blinding confidence."

"That's right. So any women you seek from here on out will have to go through the harem council's approval."

Mingzhi snickered in a low voice, causing Davis to chuckle again, "Nope. You all only have a say when I say you have a say, but I know what not to choose, so don't worry."

Mingzhi trembled, wanting to kick him, but hearing his last few words, she calmed and nodded. Seems like her warning was not needed.

"Hmph, your tyrant rule could only last so long until we establish our family laws. Then we will have the last laugh~"

She smirked and left, causing him to shake his head.

He was about to say wishful thinking but then blinked at a figure who appeared above the city before smiling brightly.

Stella was about to descend after stepping out of the spatial vortex, but she stopped as she noticed Davis, her expression flickering.

Stella cried out as she pounced at him, causing Davis to blink at her aggrieved figure.

"What's wrong?" He narrowed his eyes while Stella's bottom lip extended as though she was going to cry. "Mother… mother has…"

"Mother? What happened to your mother…?"

Davis instantly thought about Wix Voidfield as he asked Stella.

She sniffled, appearing aggrieved, "She- she willfully released the Voidslime Realm Eater and demanded that I go hunt it down without any help! Wah!!!~"

Davis's solemn expression fell.

Had he interfered too much in helping Stella? Thinking back, he was the one who caught the Voidslime Realm Eater and not Stella, but there was no need to go this far, was there?

He didn't think Wix Voidfield was the type to be too strict. Otherwise, she would not have let Stella near him or asked for his help.

Nonetheless, Davis sighed.

"So what do you want me to do?"

Stella cried out like a bird as she spun around and threw a tantrum, throwing Davis off-guard. For someone who claimed that she could beat the Voidslime Realm Eater alone, was she that desperate to be begging him?

Regardless of the reason, Davis agreed.

He needed that core for himself or Ivy. He wouldn't let it escape.

But currently, he was in the Jade Lotus Valley with Natalya, bribing some individuals so Jade Aurora and Ivy Aries could have an easier time. Therefore, he felt the need to scout first.

Sometime later, Davis and Stella descended upon an entrance to a mini realm.

"So you're saying that it has escaped here?"

"Yes, it's eating the mini realm as we speak. It's abandoned, so there's no problem just leaving it be, but I want you to defeat it for me again."

Davis looked at Stella suspiciously. For someone who was crying out loud, she was vaguely excited. Looking around, he saw that he was brought to some faraway land he didn't know where other than the general direction.

Even with Stella's spatial vortex transport that could travel extremely long distances, it took around twenty spatial vortexes to do so.

Had she chased the Voidslime Realm Eater this far? This meant that Wix Voidfield had thrown away the Voidslime Realm Eater as soon as Stella brought it back, causing him to inwardly shudder as he imagined her cold expression.

Nonetheless, with Stella acting strange, he eyed her suspiciously before deciding to enter anyway because he was only here as a soul body.

He found her life halfway here when he asked a lot of questions but couldn't tell what she had in store for him.

Stepping inside the spatial vortex, he saw Stella grin wickedly using his soul sense.

When he stepped inside, he expected the Voidslime Realm Eater to engulf him as he imagined Stella could be possessed, but he just landed on the ground without experiencing any danger.

Looking around, he saw innumerable signs of battle. The mini realm's landscape was utterly damaged, a sign of the battle between two giants.

Davis flew towards a surviving mountain peak and landed on it, surveying the landscape when he saw the Voidslime Realm Eater's huge body. However, it was unmoving and barely had any aura, as though it was dead.

At this point, Stella popped up behind him, causing him to turn to look at her.

"Hehe~ How is it? I hunted it down by myself."

"That's fantastic… You wanted to show this to me?"

Davis smiled, and Stella nodded. This spoiled lass half-lied to him. Her prowess had indeed become weaker, but she had finished off the Voidslime Realm Eater before she sought his help. He could only smile wryly at the speculation as he imagined that she needed his praise.

"You're willing to help me again and stick with me despite all the trouble…"

Davis's expression froze as he saw Stella look shy, even comically tapping her index fingers against each other.
