After a moment of silence, Fiora's voice resounded.

Davis paused as he heard Fiora speak softly.

He didn't say much and kept the messaging talisman inside his spatial ring, raising his head to look at Zephya, who looked at him with a bit of expectation.

Eldia appeared a bit pissed.

She had been ready to be held by Davis, her beloved Master, for many years now, but he never went too far with her, saying that love was important, which took her so much time to comprehend.

"I am…" Zephya's shoulders drooped, "I am willing to wait… but he said that he doesn't love me…"

Eldia pouted, "Master says what he thinks. He has no reason to fool you or me, so take his words in good faith. He didn't say that he wouldn't love you, after all…"

Zephya finally smiled as he said that he would listen to her words. She moved towards him, and Eldia let go of her wrist, looking at Zephya with interest, only to see her hold Davis's sleeves as she looked at him with expectations.

"No." Davis was firm, causing Zephya to pout.

"Why not? Master said you will give me a reward."

"I did say that…" Davis closed his eyes, knowing that he had dug himself a coffin, "but I don't think I can agree to such a rew-"

He had just opened his eyes when Zephya pecked him on the lips and shot away with tremendous speed, leaving him dumbfounded.

He yelled at her, both angered and worried.

Zephya's voice resounded from the horizon. She was already gone, only her undulations quickly receding from the tumultuous swirls of tornadoes causing much chaos to the atmosphere.

Davis didn't know what to say. Even now, she was playful as soon as she was placated, not taking his words seriously even though he had told her not to seduce him using charm, much less a kiss.

However, he felt like this kiss had her intended effect as it induced a burst of emotions in him that made him feel Zephya was rather sweet. He couldn't help but look at her in a new light.

Davis lightly face-palmed.

She licked her lips, causing Davis to chuckle.

He couldn't help but lean in and take her entire tongue into his mouth, sucking on it greedily as he felt his head tremble.

Soon, they both left towards the Divergent Peak as Davis princess carried Eldia, quickly returning to the lightning lake.
