“Don’t go around alone next time. What are you going to do if something happens?”

“What would, would happen in my palace?”

“You never know.”

“Now that I see it, Rien, you’re a total nagger.”

“Do you know now? It’s going to get worse.”

“That’s a little scary.”

“Try some tea.”

Priscilla looked at the tea that Rien poured for her.

“The color is a little unusual.”

“It’s called fruit tea.”

“Fruit tea?”

“Yes, the fruit was dried and brewed. It’s going to taste good.”

“Then, let’s have a drink.”

Priscilla took a sip of tea.

“It tastes sour.”

“Do you like it?”

“It fits very well. I can’t drink other tea because it’s bitter, but I think I can drink this.”

“That’s a relief.”

“By the way, the garden is really beautiful.”

The white flower garden was blindingly beautiful.

Priscilla looked down at the teacup.

She suddenly thought of coffee.

‘Oh, I’m craving coffee.’

Coffee tasted better than tea, but she didn’t know why there was no coffee in this world.

‘Hang on. Maybe? Should I look into it?’

It would be great if she could drink coffee here.

“Rien, is there a place where I can read books at the Imperial Palace?”

“Books?”

“Yes.”

“You can read the book if you borrow it from the Imperial Palace Library.”

“Really?”

“Yes, shall I borrow it for you?”

“I can’t go see it myself?”

Rien nodded.

“Yes, people in the Concubine Palace cannot go anywhere other than the Concubine Palace.”

“I see.”

Priscilla forgot for a moment that she was trapped in a cage.

“I forgot that this is a cage.”

“I’ll borrow the book for you.”

“Yes, I’ll have to look at it that way.”

“What book do you want to read?”

“Plant encyclopedia.”

“A botanical encyclopedia?”

“Yes, I have a plant I want to find.”

“I’ll borrow it tomorrow.”

“Thank you.”

The sun went down before she knew it.

Rien was about to say let’s go in, but someone stopped her.

It was Michael.

Rien quietly bowed her head and left.

“You seem to like the palace.”

Startled, Priscilla raised her head.

Emperor Michael was looking at her with his head tilted.

“Your Majesty, how…”

“Did I come somewhere I couldn’t come?”

“That’s not true.”

“Lilith Palace is a beautiful place in the Concubine Palace with a very beautiful garden. You are lucky to be able to enjoy this garden to your heart’s content.”

“Yes, thank you for allowing me to appreciate such a fine garden.”

“You sound sarcastic.”

“No way.”

Michael smirked and held out his hand.

“Take it.”

“What is it?”

“It is proof that you are the owner of Lilith Palace.”

What Michael held out was a gold lily-shaped hairpin.

“This is what a gold crown is.”

“Gold crown?”

“If you don’t receive a coffin from the palace, you’ll be ignored as a military officer.”

“You know it well.”

“I don’t like it. It’s not pretty at all.”

Michael smirked at the remark.

“There would be no woman who has a big liver* as you do with me.”

*TN: to have a big liver is to be brave

“I’m sorry. I can’t lie.”

“But you’ll have to take it.”

“Why?”

“If you don’t accept it, I’ll call the craftsman who made this right away to argue.”

Priscilla was dumbfounded.

“Are you going to ask an innocent craftsman what he did wrong?”

“Why isn’t there any fault? It’s a very big fault since they dedicated themself to making something like this.”

“Are you going to kill me?”

“No, I’m content with cutting off one wrist.”

Crazy, he was crazy.

“Leave the craftsman alone. I don’t like it, but I’ll take it.”

Priscilla reluctantly received the hairpin.

“And why are you doing it yourself when you can do this by ordering an attendant?”

“Are you complaining?”

“You don’t want to see my face.”

“You know very well.”

“But why did you come?”

For a moment Michael was speechless.

“I’m here to give it to you. This won’t happen in the future, so don’t expect it.”

“I’m not looking forward to it.”

“You don’t miss a word.”

“Oh, I’m sorry.”

Michael, with his brows wrinkled, turned around in a flash.

What an annoying woman.

Upon returning to the Emperor’s Palace, Michael did not head to the bedroom, but straight to the office.

Alfred, the chamberlain, approached him as he was about to sit at his office desk.

“Are you going to stay here all night again today?”

“Yes.”

“But you should get some sleep.”

“There’s a lot to do.”

“Is it because of Lady Priscilla?”

“Crazy. Why do I stay up all night for such a woman?”

“Or not, why are you angry?”

“Alfred, why do you keep talking nonsense these days?”

“I’m sorry if I bothered you. Your Majesty.”

“If you know, shut up.”

“All right.”

“Bring me some wine.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”
