Dragon Sorcerer In One Piece

Drug Peclo, also known as Major Undertaker was an infamous military commander of the Tortus, a country located in the New World. He and his battalion specialized in assassination, kidnapping, torture, and other act considered a war crime. For this reason, by the end of a Tortus's civil war, Peclo and his battalion were sentenced to death only to escape and disappear without a trace, not before murdering his former king and the royal family (leaving only one survivor who happened to be away from the country). The World Government placed Drug Peclo with a bounty of 110 million berries officially but with different reasons to hide the embarrassment and utilize Drug Peclo for their benefit as a contract killer.

David didn't expect to learn that Ensign Adriel is Cecilia, a daughter of Baron Varus. This is because he never expected a noble big or small status to join the Navy and serve World Government. The only reason he can think of for Cecilia to join the Navy is to get protection against her own family and seeing their act on funeral speech, it won't be much of a surprise if one of them sets up the contract to kill Cecilia.

The moment Drug Peclo in lion form jumped out and attacked Cecilia, Z was the first to react and try to stop Peclo but at the same time, four reporters in the back corner pulled out pistols and fired at Cecilia. To stop one of the simultaneous assassination attempts, Z turned around to use his Armament Haki and catch bullets with his hands, "We have assassins disguise as reporters." Realizing the situation, Z gave a command to his Marines in the room and proceeded to take control of the situation. Meanwhile, Drug Peclo attacked Cecilia with his claw but something unexpected happened, silver wings sprouted from Cecilia's back and blocked Drug Peclo's claw. 'What? Silver wings? So she is a Zoan devil fruit user.' David thought as he realized Z's students aren't normal marines compared to others in the Blue Seas or Headquarters. If he remembers correctly, each Z's student has to go through hellish training and small missions to graduate from the officer's course.

As the first assassination strike failed, Drug Peclo changed to human hybrid mode to continue his attack but Cecilia pulled out her sword to go face to face against Drug Peclo. Meanwhile, David realized the rest of the reporters in the back and the servants of the mansion pull out various weapons and begin their attack. 'Peclo and local gangs made one hell of preparation to kill Cecilia. I should have known that all the weapons on the walls are not just old antiques but fully functioning and loaded weapons.' Without hesitation, David knocks out an assassin next to him and disappears from the sights using a snake talisman. 'My main target is Drug Peclo, not his pawns or helping the nobles. The Marines can handle them but it won't hurt to give them a little helping hand.' Finishing his thought, David summoned Samurai Khans and gave a mental command to attack the assassins. Out of all Khans, Samurai Khans are the deadliest and fearsome as they use shadow swords to cut their enemies without hesitation. The sudden appearance of shadow warriors causes bigger panic among nobles but it all changed when Samurai Khans attacked the assassins.

With pawns dealt with, David quickly went to the wall where Oni mask is and grabbed it, but at that moment, a clash between Cecilia's and Drug Peclo's Armament Haki created a small shockwave resulting in two fighters to be thrown back in different directions. Unfortunately for David, he was distracted to realize that Cecilia got thrown right at him and knocked him to the ground with her on top of him. "What hit me?" David's horse talisman healed him from a concussion but the experience of pain shook him to realize who was top of him immediately. Cecilia replied, "I'm sorry, but thank you for catching me from hitting the wall, are you ok?" As she asked, she raised her head to which David's eyes and hers met.

Cecilia: 'He has beautiful green eyes, like an emerald.'

David: 'She has beautiful blue eyes, like a sapphire.'

There was silence between them for a second before Cecilia spoke first, "Are you ok? Who are you… wait, that is my father's mask you are holding!" Cecilia realized that a young man she was on top of was holding one of her father's antique masks. David recovered from his thought and tried to come up with an excuse but Cecilia continued to speak, "You dare to steal at my father's funeral? Wait, you are wearing the clothes of a reporter, you are an assassin!" Cecilia grabbed her sword from the floor next to her to strike him but unfortunately, Drug Peclo recovered from the previous clash with Cecilia and pulled out his signature scythe from the wall to attack her once again. Seeing the incoming attack, David grabs Cecilia and rolls to switch the position with her, taking the full force of the attack. The impact of the Drug Peclo's attack slam David through the wall but thanks to his dog and horse talismans he wasn't injured or died from the attack but he lost the grip of his hand and lost the Oni mask in the process without realizing. "Ok, now I PISSED! No more Mr. Nice Guy!" David quickly got up from the floor and wiped debris around him with rage in his face. Using his rabbit's super speed, David tackled Drug Peclo where he stood and returned the favor by pushing him through multiple rooms.

Cecilia's POV

Instructor Zephyr was a good friend with my father, Baron Varus, years before I was born. So when he and I learned of my father's death we were both saddened by the loss and made a plan to travel to my hometown, Urani. After notifying my family, Instructor Zephyr told me in private that something was off as he knew my father was in good health last time he talked. I also knew something was off so I prepared myself the moment we arrived in the city and ready to face my family, but getting jumped by a giant lion that also happened to be an assassin wasn't something I expected at all. Thanks to Instructor Zephyr and my devil fruit, I was able to survive the first strike from the assassins and manage to fight back but for an unknown reason, one of the assassins decided to steal one of my father's antique masks. I had a good look at the thief and before I could arrest him, he saved me from the assassin's attack and took the hit for me.

In the end, something attacked the assassin and pushed him through the wall as I was about to get killed. I was saved by an unknown person as shadowy warriors helped Marines from the henchmen in the mansion. When I got on my feet and turned to look at the hole in the wall, I saw a thief and lion hybrid man facing each other, as I watched the fight, I found a black mask next to my feet. I don't know why the thief decided to steal this but one thing for sure, he will come for this and I will be there to face him when he comes for this.

David's POV

I can't believe I lost the mask, it was in my hand and I was about to put it in the inventory but something hit me in the back to which I ended up becoming a sandbag for Cecilia. Right now a mask isn't the important thing as I'm going face to face against Drug Peclo in the dining room. Drug Peclo made the first move as he swung his scythe to cut my head off, I used my Armament Haki to block the attack and grab the weapon to take away from his hand. Using my super-strength, I take away the weapon and immediately put it on my inventory to prevent him from using it against me. I didn't mind Drug Peclo knowing my inventory ability as he won't live to tell the tale after this fight. Combining the rabbit and ox talisman, I strike Drug Peclo's stomach but he stops my attack with his two hands by combining lion hybrid form and Armament Haki. Using the dragon talisman into my free hand, I blasted him in point-blank range with a huge fire explosion as he was unable to dodge the attack. The explosion was big enough to destroy the entire room but Drug Peclo managed to survive thanks to his devil fruit's superior endurance and regeneration ability. 'I swear, Chopper was right. Carnivorous Zoan Fruits are much more ferocious and tougher than other Zoan types. Drug Peclo could be a much more challenging opponent than I thought.'

Then suddenly, another person came to the destroyed room with a sword in her hand and silver wings in the back. "I don't know what is going on but I will help you against this lion man. You better explain why you want this mask after we dealt with him." Cecilia spoke to me as she expanded her wings in her back and threw her sword into the floor next to her. To my surprise, her sword starts to change its shape and turns into a giant tiger, "Are you kidding me? You are a devil fruit user and have a devil fruit weapon? That is way too much power for one person." I said in surprise as I didn't think of this before, why use one devil fruit when I can also have a weapon with devil fruit power? Cecilia looked at me with confusion in her face, "I'm not a devil fruit user, my sword and sheath are." As she said, the sheath in her back turned into a giant silver hawk and detached itself to land in the tiger's back. "They are my family's protectors and given to me by my father before I left the island years ago. Now, it's time for your funeral assassin."
