"You can stay here tonight and I will arrange a ship directly to Paradise. But, afterward, it is all up to you since this is your test to prove how capable you are. Also, if you can bring a sample of the medicine, then I will reward you a bonus." Hades instructs Carina and finishes his drink. Hearing this, Carina made a note to get the additional reward, but something was bothering her, which she couldn't pinpoint.

"Thank you, Hades, and I will make sure to bring what you want and can't to work with you. Oh, I'm going to see Silvi after I put my money on the resort safe." The Phantom Thief said to Hades and left the room with her two briefcases to make Hades stay silent.

"I said work for me. Oh, she is going to experience hell the moment she meets the Witch."

Currently, Douglas Bullet is training in the open field far from the Gold Resort since his combat abilities and strength are deadly to ordinary people. For this reason, Bullet gathers large amounts of supplies and travels to the other side of the island eight days ago. Remembering the Buster Call, the Navy's ultimate weapon, Bullet punched a giant slab of metal he created before. Aiming for his new short goal, Bullet continues his training while a shadowy figure within his shadow observes his progress.

"Run! The pirates are attacking the dock!" One of the dockworkers shouts as two large pirate sh.i.p.s make it to the Gold Resort dock. A large number of pirates immediately disembarked from their sh.i.p.s and drew their weapons to start their raid.

"Boys! We are going to strip this very island and take their riches. Go wild and fill our sh.i.p.s with treasures!" The captain of the pirate group said to his crew as he pulled out his two pistols. This pirate group made it to the New World just a week ago and, following the rumor of resort island made out of pure gold. The pirate captain decided to raid the island but quickly after learning the name of the island owner.

For this reason, he made special sea stone bullets made from the navy ship he salvaged a few weeks ago. Armed with deadly ammunition for the devil fruit user, the pirate captain led his crew to the Gold resort entrance, but someone was waiting for them.

A single man in a black uniform with a matching hat and armed with a large sword stood tall while smoking a cigar in his mouth. This man didn't seem to mind 140 pirates in front of him as he strolled without any worries.

"Who is this fool? Kill him so we can continue our raid," The pirate captain said to his first mate and others. The first mate, a large man armed with a metal mallet, signals a few of the crew to remove the man, but when they get close, the man in uniform swiftly walks past them with a sword in his right hand. Lifting his head, Shiryu removed his cigar with his left hand, and at the same time, the first mate and his men fell to the ground as their body parts were cut clean.

"My apologies, it seems I got a little rusty. I used to cut the body parts while keeping prisoners alive." Shiryu of the Rain said to the rest of the pirates as he placed his cigar back in his mouth. Keeping his sword, Raiu downward, the drop of blood fell while the pirate captain and everyone behind him turned pale. The captain did expect some resistance from the resort security, but he didn't expect this level from the start to regret his decision based on greed.

"KILL HIM! KILL HIM NOW!" Captain quickly aimed his pistols and fired the precious sea stone bullets as his crew members with swords attacked rushed ahead. All their effort was pointless as Shiryu quickly dodge and proceeded to slaughter pirates without mercy.

The number of 140 quickly reduced to 0 by the time Shiryu's cigar burned up. The dock turned red with blood and some of the body parts dropped to the ocean, feeding innocent fishies while Shiryu put a new cigar in his mouth. Shiryu removes any trace of blood within his sword and places it back on the sheath with a single swing.

Shiryu showed small signs of satisfaction since he couldn't kill people freely due to Hades's strict order. According to Hades, the Gold Resort staff members and customers are off-limit, but he didn't mention pirates or criminals. For the past few days, Shiryu hunted down thieves, kidnappers, pirates, etc., to feed his d.e.s.i.r.e, just like how he did back in Impel Down.

"You made quite a mess, Shiryu." Gild Tesoro, the Emperor of Finance, said to Shiryu while Dice and Tanaka stood a few feet behind Gild Tesoro while his two lieutenants stood. The Emperor of Finance has been busy with his project as it was near completion, but this island is still part of responsibility before Hades took over as King. Douglas Bullet wasn't much of a problem since he's been away from the significant population, but a former head jailer has been lurking around like a cat looking for mice to play. But since Shiryu will be a fellow Emperor of the Underworld in a few days, Gild Tesoro tolerated and watched in the distance.

"You have to break a few eggs to make breakfast, Gild Tesoro. I'm sure there won't be much of a problem when the words go around, but have your boys tighten the security. It is pathetic compared to Impel Down; maybe I should take the responsibility from your hand." Shiryu taunts Gild Tesoro as he walks away with a smile on his face. Hearing this, Gild Tesoro laughed out loud and turned around to see Shiryu's back.

"Considering your failure as head jailer and escape from Impel Down, I won't hold my breath, Shiryu." Gild Tesoro said out loud as Shiryu continued to walk away and disappear in the distance.

"Sir, are we sure about working with them? I'm not sure what Hades thought when he broke free those two monsters," Tanaka asked Gild Tesoro while Dice instructed dock workers to clean the bloody mess.

"Soon, when the Gran Tesoro is done, we won't have to see any of them. Tanaka, have the security doubled and make sure all our guests are given extra care today. We need to prepare for a grand show fitting for the departure of our new flagship."

Meanwhile, at Marineford,

"Congratulations, new graduates. All of you finished the officer's academy and are ready to face injustice in this world. Remember your training and what you are carrying on your shoulder; let the word 'Justice' forever remind you of our value and goal against the age of pirates." Fleet Admiral Sengoku finishes his speech to new graduates as Instructor Zephyr stands next to him with pride. Instructor Zephyr watched as his students stood in military formation as his sole honor students stood in front of everyone.

Through Zephyr's harsh combat training and betrayal from the family members, Varus Adriel Cecilia stood in front of the formation as her instructor/father figure smiled at her. Ever since her father's funeral incident and her family member's betrayal, Cecilia decided to dedicate her life as a Navy officer in training fully and gave up her status as noble.

Now, graduated from the Navy academy with full honors and hardened, Cecilia is ready to face her new mission as she waits for Commodore to announce everyone's new duty station around the world. Most of the newly graduated lieutenants end up in either Paradise, but the exceptional officer gets the New World as they prove their potential.

Finally, the last name is said and it was Cecilia's, which everyone on the formation waits for as they all recognize her efforts and accomplishments.

"Lastly, Lieutenant Cecilia. With excellence and proven achievement through her action, the Navy will place her under the command of Rear Admiral Rosinante of G-F in New World." The Commodore finished his announcement and ended the graduation ceremony, which everyone in the formation cheers and celebrates. While Cecilia and others continue their celebration, Fleet Admiral Sengoku and Instructor Zephyr return to Marineford's main building.

When Sengoku and Zephyr arrive at Fleet Admiral's office, they begin their talk regarding a new enemy of the Navy and a World Government threat. After Sengoku's aid placed two cups of coffee for two senior officers to drink, their conversation turned to theories and potential fears they could have. From Zephyr's report and Sengoku's personal experience, two seasoned soldiers determined Hades' threat level, the King of the Underworld, is reaching close to Yonko's.

"We now know it was Hades who stole all of our Dyna stones and threatened to use it unless we followed his demand. I already reported to Kong and Elders about Hades's second demand, withdrawing from yearly Heavenly Tribute. I fear that World Nobles will demand the destruction of Hades, which will be impossible since his influence is far-reaching." Sengoku signs while he places his seagull hat on the table. This table is now his third new table ever since he started to break tables due to stress and anger. Thus, Sengoku started to believe he is getting a bad habit from Garp as he tends to smash things in front of him.

"For now, all we can do is surveillance. You and I both know who this Hades is, but I'm afraid that we don't fully understand Hades's powers. What worries me most is how the scale of power changed when Hades appeared a few months ago. It's as if he knew where to hit and where to be to grow his influence on the world stage." Zephyr said to Sengoku, which hit Sengoku's mind as if the lightning struck him.

'He knows where to hit and where to be... Hades knew where we store Dyna stones, he knew exactly how to persuade each Yonkos to his side, and he knew how to deal with Doflamingo. Somehow, Hades has limitless information on us while we have no idea who he is. I wonder if he had help from someone and who has enough resources to accomplish this?" Sengoku slowly pieces a bit of information in his head, but before he could finish his thoughts, someone from intel division bolted in without knocking on the door.

"Fleet Admiral, we have an emergency. The surveillance team from Paradise went missing after they reported the sudden appearance of Gold Lion Shiki. Sir, we believe Shiki is about to enter the New World," The intel officer finishes his report to Sengoku. Fleet Admiral didn't say anything as Zephyr and him both dropped their cups as their worries already came to fruition.
