Ahn Jaein received quite a shock when he opened his eyes and was greeted with Shin Ryujin staring at him in curiosity as if trying to figure out what he was. There was a slight amount of fear in her eyes, which was to be expected.

"What are you?" she questioned, and her eyes showed how she had become defensive at his presence.

Jaein sat up on the ground, and running his hand through his hair, he decided to answer Ryujin's questions. A d.e.s.i.r.e to see her frightened expression after all of that bloomed within him.

"I am a ghost or spirit," Jaein said, "Whatever you take me to be."

Shin Ryujin's eyes widened at that, and she stumbled backwards slightly, shaking her head. The situation appeared quite difficult for her to comprehend.

"That's absurd. This must be a bad dream. No, this is very much real and unscientific. Should I call a shaman, an exorcist, or a priest? Which one would work?" Ryujin stated, finding herself in a state of panic.

Shin Ryujin wanted to call Aera and mention about this to her. But she was afraid that Aera would merely laugh at her, saying how crazy everything was.

A chuckle escaped from Ahn Jaein's mouth as he spoke out, "Try whatever you want to do, but it would not work. I am here to haunt and curse you for life. As long as I am here, you would not be able to achieve peace in life."

Reaching into her pocket, Ryujin took out her phone, and without paying attention to Jaein's words, she said, "What was the number again? Ah! I should have saved the numbers previously. Should I search online for ways?"

"Are you even listening to me?" Jaein questioned. As much he enjoyed seeing her panicking, being ignored did not make him feel pleased.

Raising her head, Ryujin stared at Jaein, and that's when an idea hit her mind. Clapping both of her hands together, she spoke out, "That's it! That could work! Stay seated here for a moment. I am coming."

With that, Ryujin stood up, and arching his eyebrows, Jaein stared at the girl, wondering what she was planning.

Looking around the place, Ryujin searched for the salt, and when the salt shaker fell in her line of sight, she extended her hand to pick it up.

Turning back, she gazed at the ghost, and making her way over to him, she took in a deep breath. Guessing what she was about to do, Jaein was about to move back.

But it was too late for that. Ryujin raised the salt shaker above his head and shook it slightly to sprinkle the white substance inside it over him. Jaein closed his eyes as he felt the salt come in contact with him, and as the salt passed through his body, he jumped away from that place.

As the salt fell down on the ground, Jaein stood up and gripped on to the salt shaker in order to prevent her from wasting the salt further.
