"You f.u.c.k.i.n.g bastard!" Ryujin said through her gritted her teeth.

"Ryujin?" Aera spoke out, "Are you fine?"

With that, Ryujin sat down on the couch, and as desperation was visible in her eyes, she gripped on to the girl's shoulder.

Shoving her, she voiced out, "Did you see that, Aera? Someone just pushed me right now or else I wouldn't have tripped like that! I am telling you that there is a ghost haunting after me. You have got to help me, Aera, or else he will kill me."

Seeing her exaggeration, the male rolled his eyes and folded his hands over his c.h.e.s.t. Amus.e.m.e.nt was visible in his eyes as the corner of his lips were lifted up.

Raising her hand, Aera placed her palm on the girl's forehead and stated, "You don't seem to have a fever. So, why are you saying all of this nonsense?"

She had originally predicted that this was going to be difficult. Therefore, taking in a deep breath, she summoned all the patience she could muster before trying to explain it to the girl before her.

"Look, Aera, now this might seem like a fantasy, but you got to believe me. Things had been messing up around me for couple of days in the past, and I wasn't able to find out the reason behind it.

However, the other day I have found out that there was a spirit following after me. He is the one who is responsible for making my life miserable. Now, he is out to ruin my life. I need your help, Aera."

"And what are you trying to do by telling me all of this?" Aera asked.

It was clearly evident that Aera did not hold a percent of a trust towards what Ryujin had just stated. Then again, the woman wasn't to be blamed. Even Ryujin would behave the same way if Aera were to be in her position.

Moreover, Aera did not at all believe superstitions, unlike Ryujin— who got swayed by it at times— and therefore, for Aera to treat this as absolute bullshit wasn't wrong.

That's when, an idea came inside of mind, and turning to face Jaein, she ordered, "Pick up something from the table!"

Confusion clouded Aera's eyes as she stared at Ryujin, waiting for her next set of actions.

Seeing how Jaein wasn't making a move, Aera's gaze on him turned stern, and she vocalised, "What are you waiting for? Do it fast!"

"Do you think that I am a fool?" he asked as mock was clearly visible in his eyes.

Although he wasn't obliged to go along with her, he was the one who brought this mess to her, and feeling angered, she clenched one of her hand info a tight fist.

Turning left, she held the pillow beside her, and without a warning, she threw it towards the male with all of her might. But the pillow passed through his figure and slid through the tiles.

He merely grinned it.

"What are you trying to do, Ryujin?"
