Enjoying This Generic But Wonderful World

he bell rings outside the class; it's time for lunch break. Everybody starts getting up and exiting the class to do their own thing while Benjamin stayed in the classroom thinking what he should do today in the lunch break. Maybe do some research in the library? Maybe investigate Leo and his harem candidates? Or try to see Nate and Yulia if his information is correct they spend their lunch break on the cafeteria? Ahhh so many options but so little time…

But to his surprise, a black haired boy enters the classroom and with bored looking eyes he started to glance around the classroom searching for something or someone. But that's the thing, Benjamin knew this boy: He was Baku Hakkagu from class B and also the information broker of the school, if you wanted to know something he was the guy to go, but he didn't do charity and depending of the information he charged quite a bit, and finally he was the closest thing to a friend after his curse started manifesting itself.

Benjamin approached the boy while he was looking at the class notes.

"Why are you here Baku?" Benjamin asks.

The boy jumps quite frightened but calm down after he turned, "Goddammit this always catches me off guard B."

Of course that the Curse affects him too, but he created a little tiny bit of resistance to it, now making him only remember the first letter of Benjamin's name.

"You know how this goddamn curse works," Benjamin says rolling his eyes. "So what do you want? It's generally me who comes after you."

He sighs, "I need you to do something for me."

Benjamin perks his eyebrow, "What kind of job are we talking about?"

"I need you to follow my sister," He says in a serious tone.

Silence… Benjamin kept making him wait for his answer until he decide to speak.

"You know that I prefer older and well-endowed girls."

"NOT THAT YOU GODDAMN PERVERT!!!" Baku screams angrily at him but quickly calms down, "I really need you to follow my sister… she's getting home quite late and I'm really worried about her."

If Benjamin remembers correctly, Baku's sister is Homura a Magical Girl fanatic, she passes almost all the time on the anime club discussing about magical girl anime, how does he know that? Benjamin watched and participated some of their meetings… they are quite friendly.

"No problem, but what's for me? You know that I don't do charity," Benjamin says in a monotone voice.

Baku gives him a box, more specifically saying, a game box; the name of the game? Battle Infinitas.

"I know that you have the D.Station so I'm giving this game box to you," He says in a calm manner "Of course if you want to play it, but this game box is quite… rare."

"What do you mean?" Benjamin curiously asks.

"D. Entertainment launched a raffle 3 weeks ago and the announced the winner 1 week ago, as you can imagine it I was the winner," He looks to Benjamin starts speaking in a very nonchalant tone.

"This box is the prize, this isn't a normal box of the game, it's a very sought after special edition that comes with one of a kind equipment to the player who creates an account with this CD. If you don't want to play it you could sell it online, you could gain a crazy amount of cash with this."

Benjamin examined the box with caution.

"So do you accept?"

Benjmain thinks a little, still examining the box but in the end, he make the decision.

"I accept."

Baku's face is showing a lot of relief.

"I overheard that she was going to the plaza 7 P.M."

"Alright, I shall be there and know what she's doing to arrive so late at your house."

"Thank you," Baku says smiling and he turns around to exit the classroom but stops at the last minute and he turn back at Benjamin.

"If you decide to play message me on the game, my name is Brown Eagle and my guild's name is BROKERS," Baku says to him before finally exiting the classroom.

Receiving a job to go after someone feels so nostalgic even though that it only was only 2 days ago that all this crazy shit started happening... but that doesn't matter, today Benjamin has a job to do.
