Chapter 33: To the bottom of Dark Abyss Cliff (1)

The moment that Lin Ye Xie opened his eyes he suddenly stiffened as he saw a bewitching purple eyes that directly looking at him.

"Are we going to descend now?" – Yin Zi Jue asked as he stood up

Lin Ye Xie nodded and also stood up and walked to the edge of the Dark Abyss Cliff as Yin Zi Jue followed him and stood at his side.

"While you're cultivating, I send my soul force to investigate what is below this cliff but i cannot penetrate deeper than sixty thousand meters. But somehow, I felt a very dense and dark energy from this cliff." – Yin Zi Jue lazily said and when he looks at Lin Ye Xie it seems like he (LYX) is not surprised at all.

"It seems like you are aware already."

"When I came here back then, I also send my soul force and just like you, it can only penetrate to almost sixty thousand meters. No matter what I do, the results are still the same." – Lin Ye Xie said

"Then the dark energy, do you know its origin?" – Yin Zi Jue asks as he is very curious. Even in the Twelve Celestial Galaxies, he never encountered such a dense dark energy.

But to his disappointment, Lin Ye Xie tilt his head in side two times indicating that he don't know while saying, "I don't know what kind of thing can produce a dense energy like this."

"Then we can find it out once we descend." – Yin Zi Jue said and Lin Ye Xie hum before he flew to the air, directly above the dark abyss cliff and Yin Zi Jue just followed him.

But Yin Zi Jue didn't notice since he is behind Lin Ye Xie, A silver glint has flashed in Lin Ye Xie's eyes for a second.

"Let's go." – After Yin Zi Jue finished speaking, A tall and small figures descended down in a straight line as both (YZJ & LYX) of them entered the abyss below them – The "Dark abyss cliff" that no one in the history of the Neptune Star had ever returned from alive!

Lin Ye Xie's speed was extremely fast but Yin Zi Jue can catch on his (LYX) speed casually. And Yin Zi Jue knows that Lin Ye Xie is aware of this.

But he (LYX) didn't rely on Yin Zi Jue's strength to descend so Yin Zi Jue didn't mind to match Lin Ye Xie's speed as both of them descended side by side.

Their speed can be said was extremely fast and in the blink of an eye, both of them had already descended more than five kilometers. Their surrounding turned pitch black and the blue sky that had shone brightly above them had completely disappeared from their view.

A purple light pulsed from Yin Zi Jue's body, and at the same time a golden light also pulsed from Lin Ye Xie's body, instantly bathing their surroundings in both of purple and golden light that came from both of their bodies.

Below them was an incomparably empty darkness and it seemed to have no end, as both of them rapidly descended.

Seven thousand meters…

Eleven thousand meters…

Twenty thousand meters…

Twenty four thousand meters…

Thirty Three thousand meters…

Thirty Nine thousand meters…

The depth of this abyss was extremely startling. But this depth was not much too any cultivators above true celestial realm, much less to Lin Ye Xie and Yin Zi Jue. Both of them were descending deeper and deeper and the aura of this place did not go through any noticeable changes.

If even a Divine Sovereign realm personally came here to descend in this abyss, they would not also be able to detect any differences between this place and another abyss.

But Lin Ye Xie's brow began to knit together as Yin Zi Jue also began to become serious.  Because both of them can feel that they are growing closer and closer to the source of this dense yet strange dark energy.

Forty three thousand meters…

Forty seven thousand meters…

Fifty four thousand meters…

Lin Ye Xie's speed suddenly slows down as Yin Zi Jue followed…

Fifty eight thousand meters…

Until both of them came to complete stop!

The world that was more than fifty eight thousand meters into the bottomless abyss is completely dark and silent one. Yin Zi Jue's eyes flashed with a bewitching glint as he stared down at the pitch-black world below them.

"The laws in the space six meters below suddenly underwent a huge change…" - Yin Zi Jue said

"Although it was only a short six meters, it seemed like there was an invisible wall. The laws that governed both spaces were completely different; it was as if there were two worlds that did not interfere with each other at all." – Yin Zi Jue said with a frown

"Could it be an invisible barrier?'' – Lin Ye Xie asked towards Yin Zi Jue who is in his right side

"I'm not sure. Let's continue to descend." – Yin Zi Jue said.

He already had a guess but his heart was seized by acute bewilderment and doubt because he (YZJ) is not sure as both of them continue to descend down.

After descending continuously for ten meters, both of them did not encounter any barrier. In fact, both of them did not feel any sort of impediment as both of them descended.
