Fate's Game [GL]

No movement was to hear from the room. Emil wanted to go around the door, when he saw the shadows of people coming out. He plastered his back more on the wall and held his breath, he really didn't need more delaying now.

He had to bring Emilié out and let her see a doctor, she lost too much blood and was now exposed to the cold. Her body temperature was sinking at a fast rate and any minute a fever could break out and make a huge damage to her body which would be hard to recuperate from.

Two people came out the room the scent of cigarettes, alcohol and perfume wafted into Emilié's nose. Her nose puckered, how she abhorred that smell, she couldn't stop knitting her eyebrows together.

The occupants of the room seemed to have had their fair share of fun and indulged themselves in many activities in there. Even after coming out the room slight kiss sounds could be heard. Until a female voice told the man off.

"Enough for today. You made me tired, anymore and I'll be too sleepy to go back and present myself out there. My husband will be suspicious then and if he finds out what you were doing, he will cut you to pieces."

The woman's words were shocking. Emilié was out of a live endangering situation for some minutes now and she already bumped into a secret affair! What bad luck.

The man only followed with a chuckle not taking the warnings to heart. He most have done it many times, for his guard was down the gutters. He did not stop. No! He was more proactive making the woman swivel in m.o.a.ns.

"You rascal! 'mhh'.."

Emilié was completely repulsed and wanted to burry herself in the jacket, when she abruptly stopped pulling the jacket over her head. She heard something which was too well-known to her.

That, that voice! Wasn't it-

Before Emilié could make out the person, Emil held Emilié tightly to himself and closed her ears shut.

Emil was embarrassed for having brought a child into such a place, but they had to hide there until the a.d.u.l.terous couple finished with their 'business'.

So, the only way to make it bearable for Emilié was it to shut off her hearing ability and protect her pure mind from corruption.

Before, Emilié would be thankful and moved to tears for someone to think of her, but right now Emil was blocking her investigational d.e.s.i.r.e.

That's why she squirmed around to get free from his grip and Emil had to unfortunately comply to Emilié's wish and let go.

He felt awkward having let go and letting her hear this repellent act, but if he had holded longer and Emilié hadn't had stopped squirming, then they would have noticed them being there and trouble would follow shortly behind. As said Emilié had to see a doctor and time was tight, no further delay was allowed.

The a.d.u.l.terous couple had luckily not noticed anything and went on their p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e making, which intensified with the female's not so believable refusal and only fueled the man's d.e.s.i.r.e for dominance.

Emilié, even though repulsed, listened closely not to miss anything important, which could indicate to the owner of the voice.

And yes, she was right. She knew that voice very well and every second with each of her p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e filled m.o.a.ns and pleads for him to stop, the hate for her that Emilié had, grew more and more.

How could she do that to Sasha, he was a man who tried his best everyday, protecting his Country, bringing food to the table and caring for his wife and children and now...

...his wife, Bethea, was sleeping with a stranger on the day their children were celebrating their birthday.

Emilié felt this whole night is a total joke, the sun must have risen from the west. What the f*ck was everyone doing, did their brains have a malfunction?

No! Emilié had enough! Her head began spinning and her stomach churned, she felt a deep disgust from her heart for this woman who she had to call mother.

She did such a contemtible act, not considering her children. What would Leevi and Valentin think?

Their mother caring more for a stranger then them, neglecting completely the hurt feelings those both would have, when they knew this was happening on one of their happiest day.

And for all this secret to spill out, one door has to be opened. Behind one door was a party, filled with the whole high society of K Country.

One person needs to open this door and would get out a scandall that can destroy the Evan families reputation to the ground and hurt two children feelings for their mother.

Many people would love to see this, but Emilié was not one of them.

Bethea was playing a dangerous game here and Emilié knew very well all the consequences this would impact the family with.
