Fate's Game [GL]

Chapter 36 - Poor Emil

Emilié did listen to their conversation, but had her heart long steeled to let it get to her head.

She came here, because she felt no sense in sitting in bed, and pondering how she can get even with-, no!

Crush Bethea in pieces, without a clear path.

She had to become stronger, as she wants to take her fate in her own hands, so she won't let others decide anything for her anymore.

But she doesn't believe in such an opportunity falling on her l.a.p just like that.

She has to take the initiative herself. That is why she needs to find Emil and ask him to teach her a way to become stronger.

She saw his flexible and well controlled body movements while she had her breakdown.

He was like a slippery fish wiggling himself out, and she only had the upper hand because she got him unprepared and brought him into a predicament where he couldn't act. Or she would have been the one to lose this fight.

Therefore, she came here with the mind to be taught by him, but stumbles again on stupid a.d.u.l.ts with stupid ideas of what is good for her, without even wishing to know her own opinion.

How could everyone just disregard her!

Yes, she has the body of a 5 years old! But she didn't want to live peacefully.

She wanted revenge! And that was a long way away from peace, it was a pond of muddled water and Emil is not someone who can choose anything for her.

Just looking at him, how imm.a.t.u.r.e he acts in front of his wife, no, seems to be his former wife, Emil gained some minus points in Emilié's mind.

Tsk. Everybody is a deceiving c*nt¹. Is no decency left in this forsaken world?!

But Emil was someone she needed and she will not waste free resources that can help her.

So she marched with tiny steps, at the once again shocked Emil, who stood up from his place to redirect his head to her.

"Emilié" he yelled out of shock. "What are you doing here? You should lay in bed and have a rest!"

Emilié however, ignored him and walked right next to him, clutching the plush-rabbit from Claudia tightly in her thin arms.

She gazed shortly at Jane and Sera to check them out before diverting it back to Emil.

Both of the ladies were people she has never seen, yet they were people that she had no concern for.

She did hear Emil having an one-sided fight with his former wife Jane, which he was losing, and the other one was the still popcorn eating Sera; who's ice cold face was slightly cracking under having so much fun watching this live drama, hence the corner of her mouth was raising. And her eyes were twinkling like a child who got more sweets, when she saw Emilié coming in.

Yep. Nonetheless the choking, she was still eating popcorn.

But Jane must say, getting a view of Emilié from up close and in an awake condition made a big impact to her assumption. As she presumed Emilié looked just like Emil, just in a smaller version.

Hmpf, she knew that he was only up with lies and lies and more lies, nothing good can come out of him.

She must have really been blinded by love! Well, as an excuse for herself, she was young and naïve at that time.

Poor Emil, labeled as a liar. Although, he wanted to tell her the truth all the time, but no one gave him a chance to speak up.

Yet... when Emilié gazed at Jane, Jane felt something odd. Shouldn't children have a pur impression on a.d.u.l.ts?

Why was she getting such.. such bad vibes from her? It's as if you could be swallowed up by that feeling.

Did Emil really take care of his daughter like a father should have? She had her concerns, that he might not have done that by Emilié's stance towards him.

Emilié turned back to Emil and nothing of love or joy crossed over her face, no, she looked at him more like a complete stranger.

What Emil was in Emilié's eyes, but not for Jane, for her they were family.

But instead of having doubt that her conjecture and assumptions might be totally wrong, she only frowned more at Emil, painting him in a bad light.

She was really mad, after the car crash he was acting like a high class cur.

Peh, what high class! Cur stays cur!

They are down sided to be drowned! Now she really played with the thought of just killing him and dump his lifeless body to the dogs to feast on.

If Emil knew her former wifes thoughts he would cry out of injustice.

Every little conjecture of him was sooooo wrong, that he might just drop dead out of indignation and heartbreak.

He wouldn't want to believe that he was such a trustless bastard in others eyes.

And the more, because it was his former wife who thought that, with whom he had spent such a long time, that they knew almost everything about each other.

How low has he fallen, hah~
