Leevi. Leevi Evans.

Emilié was shocked and hesitated. How coincidental can it be, that the first outside person she meets is her own blood brother?!

And when his gaze strained on her, they appeared inviting with warmth in them and much more pleasant than towards Aria.

'Does he recognize her?' A silent hope sprouted from her heart, screaming to stop when its still possible....

Yet Emilié's inner turmoil did not last long. She got a hang on it fast, and played the part of a shy new student from the county meeting a fellow student, very well.

Or for what reason, did she went through all those hardsh.i.p.s in her youth! Just so to mess up at the start? A very crucial step for her goal.

Nop.

"I am Emilié. Nice to meet you Leevi."

Leevi hummed in acknowledgement.

He observed her a while more, than turned away.

....he did not recognize her, and the last scream for help from the weakness in her heart, extinguished as quickly as it came.

Motioning them to follow him, Leevi told them what to expect in the next days. "I am asked by the teacher to bring you guys to your lodging in the school. Ones you guys go through security check and settled down, I will show you around and pass on your schedules for the second half of the school year."

Emilié and Aria listened concentratedly, or more like seemed, but both their minds were elsewhere.

While Aria watched intently at Leevi's pocket -where the candies where- and schemed to snatch them away; Emilié was more concerned with knowing why Leevi was the one greeting them. And tried to put together the little information she had on hand.

She knows that Jane infiltrated them into the school. But what exactly did she do?

It was actually very simple. Jane just asked for a favor from Sasha. Asking to let her nephew and his friend attend the school.

Sasha did not let her ask twice and enrolled them in. Because his guilt never cooled down after so many years, he helped her out.

And since Emil was in the public's eyes seen as his brother in arms and relative and Jane his wife, it made Aria sort of Leevi's cousin.

Well, Sasha wanted to guarantee Aria's good treatment in this short span of time he will spent in Green Wood.

However, when Leevi talked about security check, both of their wandering minds strained back on him.

Still talking, Leevi obliviously kept walking, until, he noticed that the regular footsteps behind him wasn't present anymore.

Turning around, he saw Aria crouched down, rummaging in his school bag, while Emilié stood next to him.

"...What are you guys doing?"

Frantically taking out some zip bags, Aria said, "Food", packing the little bags in his wide jacket, that was dr.a.p.ed over his blazer.

"Is it because of the security check?" Leevi spoke out his doubt. "Well, it's fine if you have some personal stuff to hide. The security check was made for formality sake anyway. It was implemented after some incident happening years ago, where some people broke-in in some important event. Some child died and all the important families attending went gaga, and made all those useless security check-ups for the safety of their children. Until this day, there was not even one case that something dangerous was found... hey!"

Leevi stopped babbling away, snatching the zip bags from Aria. "What is this? Drugs or some stuff?"

While Leevi was checking the content of the bags, Emilié on the side, stealthily took out the box with the handkerchief and the stuffed animal from out her school bag, putting them in her pockets.

It was a good thing, that they were small enough to fit in there without giving out an unusual sight.

Leevi did say, that the security check was only formality, but Emilié doesn't want to take any risks. Better be overly cautious than taking a chance.

Also, she did not want her personal belongings eyed by any strangers and... the bunny was special. Hence she put them on herself, separated from her skin by a thin clothing.

Meanwhile, Leevi inspected the bags and was already hit hard by Aria's >pasión< for food.

"Dr-Dried meat and... 'sniff sniff' peppermint powder?"

He did not mind Aria hiding stuff, just drugs are a no-go, since he'd be accountable if that stuff came from the new guy.

But food, really!

"Whyyy?" Leevi stretched the word with gritting teeth.

Seriously, don't be his cousin!

His dad must be joking. He doesn't want to babysit him all the time with his odd quirks.

"Give them back! They are my dry rations and the only variating color¹ in a jungle diet." Aria protested. The trauma in his voice clear to hear.

He quivered, speedily ripping them back from Leevi's hand, holding it protectively in his clutch.

Leevi: "What the... Weren't you fed properly back at your home?"

Aria seeing a kind soul giving attention to his wronged spirit, teared up, latching on the kind persons arm.

Then he prattled on and on, how a bad witch mistreated him. Feeding him with roots, and tree barks, to clay, to mud, and those bugs... yuk!

Emilié at the side just silently watched, her mouth twitching every some second reminded of those dark days. But.

Ariaaa stop bad mouthing the witch loudly! She might hear you! Even though you are right in every aspect. Those tastes were baaaad~

Leevi listened to Aria and with every new enumerated thingamajigs², his face color went to a greener pallet. The descriptions turning very graphic.

And when Aria finally stopped jabbering about all the mistreatment he went through, Leevi silently swore to himself to forgive all the rude things Aria did and to treat him better.

NO MORE! He will treat this guy to a proper and delicious meal. There was a Barbeque place closeby, he would bring him there.

Only.. there was one problem. Aria's and Emilié's punishment from Sera was to do a vegetarian diet and it has to be raw. No cooked foods.

Also called bunny diet, but Emilié hated that name, so it's not used anymore. Bunnies and rabbits are hers to use, and not fickle names to leave of from others mouths.

Well the point is, Aria will have to decline Leevi's offer and Leevi will have this HUGE misinterpretation; that Aria can't dare to change his eating routine, for the sole reason of habits sake that was instilled in him.

What was utter crap, but Leevi will never know.

And with that, a beautiful misunderstanding bloomed between Leevi and Aria. °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

Just that Aria didn't know yet. And his blissful journey of being fed to the heavens, was soon to start.³

And Leevi haaah~ he will get a cute little puppy following his heel everywhere, begging him for more goodies. ʕԾᴥԾʔ✧

After this little drama scene endet, they all went without further ado to the school entrance. And just like how Leevi told, the security check was only formalities.

They checked the school bags once and didn't even search thoroughly, neither in the bags or on the clothes they had on.

They did not touch Emilié or Aria, they even put a respectful distance to them.

However, this kind of conduct did only apply to the students of Green Wood.

For outsiders, they would use every equipment in the industry at disposal for the search.

Afterall the student safety takes priority.

And there is also the downside, that a thorough search on these rich and influential brats could make them feel offended, and as retaliation they would make it hard for those security guards.

Petty, but wouldn't be the first time.

Easily passing through, Emilié, Aria and Leevi made their way to their allocated dorm.
