Fate's Reversal: The Divines Return

After MagicsSlave's comment, everyone present before Kaiden and TerrorAssault disappeared. Following the instructions and ingesting a VitaShake, they reappeared before the two. However, there was a slightly devilish smirk located upon Kaiden's lips.

'Oh get ready for some torture~,' inwardly chuckled Kaiden as he gave that much-awaited signal to TerrorAssault. In an instant, the look in TerrorAssault eyes changed to a dreadful one. His aura changed as an ominous overbearing pressure born down on everyone's shoulders.

In fact, many eyes widened as MagicsSlave shrieked, "I knew it! I'm dying! H-Help!!!! Aahhhh!"

Chuckling, TerrorAssault shook his head as he remembered Kaiden's earlier warning. This one was the troublemaker of the bunch; never give in to this cries and pleas, torture him. 

"Oh come on now, you're a Captain. Show some tact and look decent in front of the others," teasingly sneered Kaiden as his eyes displayed the joy he was experiencing.

"D-dammit! What is this anyway? Why are we being crushed?!!" squealed MagicsSlave.

"Crushed?" TerrorAssault tilted his head to this question, before continuing, "This is simply the Hypersensitivity standard of pressure, if I do release my complete pressure you would indeed be crushed," chuckled TerrorAssault.

"M-monster! How the fuċk is this-...n-nghh…" 

MagicsSlave's words were cut off as the pressure deepened another degree. With each passing couple of seconds, TerrorAssault increased the intensity of his pressure by a small margin. In fact, everyone present except FlashLight and Hollow Stance had fallen to their knees.

Even Practice had given in to the pressure and fallen to his knees. However, unlike the others, there was an extremely indignant expression on his face. Planting his foot on the ground around, he struggled to make it to his feet.

'I...will not...yield! Big bro Key has placed his hopes on me. He believes in me...I will not let him down!'

Straining himself, through resolve alone, Practice began to stand once again. His posture was straight, although, his countenance was a direct contrast. His pained expression showed the torment he was going through from this pressure.

Raising his eyebrows, pride once again rose in Kaiden's ċhėst as he gazed upon Practice with a small smile. However, his gaze then soon shifted towards his brother who seemed to be slightly unaffected then to Hollow Stance. Compared to the rest, his expression was the most relaxed besides FlashLight who had already experienced a Cellular Phenomenon. Of course, their expressions were still contorted.

'Hmm, Hollow seems to have a stronger soul than the rest? Come to think of it, he is more stubborn than the rest. I guess that is a trait birthed from his tenacious soul,' mused Kaiden as he began rubbing his chin. 

'These 3, I can see why their experiences inside the Shrines were special. They all have special qualities.'

"Kaiden, should I step into the Omniscience level pressure? The pressure should be starting to cause damage to their minds. This is just the first experience, I don't think it should be too extreme. Although, they need to experience a sense of dread; I don't think we should damage their minds in the process," hesitated TerrorAssault; he was aware of the extremity of his soul.

"Hmm, wait. Don't stop yet. I have been through this. This pressure is actually a good thing. They'll only suffer damage IF they give in. Let's temper their resolution. Do they want to stay weak or face danger and overcome their limits…"

Stepping forth before rest, Kaiden gazed over them, "This current sensation hurts, doesn't it?"

"Y-yess!!" yelled Symbolic Soul through gritted teeth.

"G-GOD! Yes…" shrieked MagicsSlave. .

"Is this your limit? You know that this game makes everything realistic and you also know that there are people who are far stronger than us, correct?"

"Yes! We know!" exclaimed FlashLightas his fists clenched tightly.

"If that is the case, do you want to give in now. If you give in at this moment, won't you also give it when the adversity becomes overbearing? Was I wrong about you all? Are you not the diamonds in the rough; I thought you were? Are you cracking under this pressure?"

'Genesis, come.'

Extending his hand, Kaiden summoned Genesis. The beautiful sword held in his grasp vibrated as it followed his next order.

'Merge your soul with me, I need to borrow your presence for a moment.'

[En! Okay Master.]

The look in Kaiden's eye changed as they became exceedingly cold, "Tell me now, was I wrong about you guys? Is this all your dėsɨrės amount to? I have high hopes for you," continued Kaiden as he stabbed Genesis into the ground placing his hand over the bottom of its hilt.

"N-no! I can continue!" roared Practice as his teeth creaked from the exertion he mustered. His jaw clenched so tight, he was in danger of cracking his teeth.

"I also don't submit. Increase the pressure," added Hollow Stance as he stood side by side with Practice.

Taking a step which required much effort, FlashLight also arrived shoulder to shoulder with them as well, roaring in a similar fashion, "I-I can still go on! This will not break me." 

"I-it hurts...but I will...continue," determined Symbolic Soul as he struggled to his feet. 

Soon enough, all of the Captains stood as the others tried to stand as well. However, glancing back at TerrorAssault, Kaiden gave him a new set of directions.

"I'll handle this for a moment, release your pressure," said Kaiden as his ash grey hair began floating. His aura was building. But unlike TerrorAssault his aura was gained inside this world so his qualities were slightly different. Moreover, his soul was intricate.

Vanquishing his pressure, TerrorAssault took a step back. But when Kaiden released his soul, he became pleasantly shocked, "T-this is the Hyper Intuition standard but the potency and purity...it rivals the Omniscience Realm."

As Kaiden's Soul pressure engulfed everyone, instead of struggling they blanked. Each and every one of them felt something inside them resonating. This new soul felt dreadful as if it was the bane of the world. For a single moment, everyone felt as if they stopped breathing.

In truth, this was the first time anyone experienced Kaiden's Soul. Moreover, this was at the instant where he merged with Genesis' soul. There was a subtle overbearing quality laced within as if this was sort of irrevocable deity.

Withdrawing his Soul, Kaiden's expression lightened as it returned to its former slightly indifferent expression. As he glanced around he realized everyone was enveloped in a blank stupor causing him to frown.

As his eyebrows scrunched, he turned around to TerrorAssault, "Why do they all look like that? All I did was do what you did. It seems like they are all frozen staring at some new experience."

"Uh, I'm not sure what you do or what is special about you but...they are all experiencing fluctuations in their soul and they are growing increasingly violent. In fact those 5 right there are reaching the critical level when a Cellular Phenomenon might happen," disclosed TerrorAssault as he pointed at Symbolic Soul, Despotic Shadow, Practice, Hollow Stance, and surprisingly MagicsSlave.

"So you mean to say, my Soul caused them to experience some sort of event that might cause a Cellular Phenomenon?" questioned Kaiden as he returned to surveying the members who stood before him.

"Oh, there is no maybe. They will definitely experience one. They have already reached critical capacity, I can feel it. This is a benefit of the Godly Influence Realm, what I can 'see', I can 'feel'," informed TerrorAssautl as he crossed his arms.

'What's so special about his soul? Why did it cause the almost immediate scenario of Cellular Phenomenon? Wait...now that I think of it...among the first generation, didn't Kaiden's father have a hand in awakening them?'

Pondering, TerrorAssault glanced at Kaiden's back wondering about some things, 'No...perhaps I'm just overthinking things. There can't be any correlation between them and initiating Cellular Phenomenons.'

However, as these words took place, the previously mentioned 5 bodies began trembling as the aura that surrounded them changed distinctly. In addition to this change, the blank look in their eyes began fading as it was replaced by a rather serene expression.

"I feel...different…" murmured Despotic Shadow as he looked down at his hands. He couldn't describe it but his body felt like it became his to a deeper degree. This scene happened with all 5 of them as they looked down at themselves.

"This feels like..my own body," stated Hollow Stance as he clenched and relaxed his hand. Now that the soul had strengthened promoting a stronger mind. The sync between mind and this body was more apparent. It was even more so for users who used AVICHs as this forcefully increased the synchronization rate.

"You guys have experienced your Cellular Phenomenon; it was unexpected, however, it is for the best. Now you guys can begin to step on to the path of cultivation in the real world," spoke TerrorAssault as he glanced over them.

'Although they just experienced this, their souls are in relatively stable states. I am shocked. Something must have happened…'

"Tell me, after used his Soul what did you guys experience?" inquired TerrorAssault. This information was something vital to him, if they can continuously replicate this experience, he could virtually create an army of initial cultivators.

"I just felt death and being reborn and after that, I had this sensation of being on top of the world; I can't explain it properly," mumbled Practice.

"I...had a talk with myself and in that talk I realized I was weak and didn't want to get left behind so I chased the shadow of Kaiden's back," answered Hollow Stance as he looked at Kaiden with a spark of rivalry.

'Huh...everyone experienced something different. Looks like I can't replicate that after all perhaps there is some underlying requirement.'

"Nevermind, that when the others wake up, I need to begin imparting knowledge to you all."
