Fate's Reversal: The Divines Return

The knowledge of history was wholly misconstrued however, it is said that clues of the real truth were left behind by individuals outside of the scope of the Supremes. Moreover, those clues were well hidden and individuals were unaware of the actual truths they possessed. This was a piece of information Kaiden found out when he opened those Epic Treasure Chest.

The leading clue of this being the class change Snow Bunny picked up. It said there was a Crescent Wake Kingdom and an empress of some sort was the ruler. However, there was no Crescent Wake Kingdom in this time to speak of.

On the other hand, there was a Crescent Wake Town. This could be no mere coincidence that in the fall of a Kingdom; a town with the exact same name remained. Furthermore, it could also be no coincidence that in the Crescent Wake Kingdom lied 1 existence who went toe to toe with the Supremes—Kairo. And another existence who ȧssisted—the majestic voice.

Additionally, there was the fact that the Secret Trial Dungeon was located here. Not to mention, another reward was a special stone and its description seemed to be rather elusive.

[Truth Revealing Stone] (Epic Item)

This stone has a special property of discerning the truth within the lies. When placed in a situation wherein the truth and lies are entangled, this stone shall unearth the truth for it to reveal itself.

-There exists the presence of a dormant aura when it is in contact with its source it shall awaken and point you in the correct path.

Perhaps inside these walls laid the clues of what truly happened in the past era and that was what the stone would reveal. After all, it was one of Kaiden's quest conditions to gather information. Although this isn't one of the prominent Kingdoms today, perhaps there could be a shred of evidence linking his future searches.

"Are you aware of an existence called the Crescent Wake Kingdom?"

Trembling for a moment, Mayor Lowe scrutinized Kaiden. Perhaps this was an investigative glance to determine if he was trustworthy or not, but his aura didn't seem like one who was in the dark about things.

"Where did you learn about this name?" inquired Mayor Lowe.

The presence around him changed before he seemed no stronger that Kaiden, But now, with the change in his gaze and aura—he seemed slightly...irregular. Additionally, Kaiden's Firmament Piercing Eyes began trembling as well as the Truth Revealing Stone.

The space around Mayor Lowe Esteam began rippling as the illusion of his appearance began changing—or should I say her. Mayor Lowe Esteam was not a man at all. In fact, "he" was a fully mȧturė woman.

Before Kaiden stood a voluptuous woman dressed in skin-tight leather armor. Her hair was a silverish white with more ŀuster than any Platinum Treasure Chest. Furthermore, her eyes were a pale blue that dripped with a sapphire like hue.

Kaiden was shocked by this transformation. The stone didn't "break" her disguise as it still existed to the outer world, he just understood the "truth". Moreover, the information on the Mayor changed as her cold face glared at Kaiden.

"Who?!" exclaimed Cynthia as her eyes trembled, interrupting Kaiden.

One didn't know this but, she was completely alone. Before her parent had died, they left her with an extremely powerful illusion. The fact Kaiden asked her about this made her believe the illusion was failing and her identity was being exposed. She existed as one of the last few traces of the Ancient Era.

Reaching her degree of strength your life span became exceedingly long, reaching 1 million years with ease.

"I'm sorry...I don't know who it was. Not to mention, he was only a voice albeit majestic and imposing. However, he did specialize in Fire and Earth Energy if that is any help." responded Kaiden.

'Should I tell her? I can see her real appearance? No, she may become more hostile…"

"His title was Pyrotian the Sun God...and Ancient Divine who excelled in manipulating the Fire Star, taking his abilities to the peak." disclosed Cynthia as she looked to the ceiling.

However, her gaze didn't seem to be focused on the ceiling at all, as she spoke there was a deep melancholy hidden within her eyes. It was unknown just how lonely she felt having to live countless years inside this disguise.

'Kairo also hid his aura in the same fashion. What exactly took place for the surviving people to go into hiding like this?'

This quest was needed to continue on the 2 quests received from Kairo. Moreover, the consequences weren't horrible like the other ones—at least in Kaiden's eyes. However, the fall of this town would cause further implications than he could possibly comprehend.

"However, there is something you can do for me." continued Cynthia.

"What is it?"

"Meet with the Ruler of the Sky Sanctum Star Temple, and participate in the selection happening in 3 months.

Information: This was a practice once suspended. However, due to unspoken reasons, there exists a need to chose a chosen one once again. Strive to achieve that mantle and become a spearhead of the extremely talented youths of this generation. A leading star is needed to resist the prophetical notions.

This was a given, he would be silly not to accept. He already possessed an entrance token on hand. This was synonymous with free rewards from this divine beauty. However, the warning still rang true in his head, leading Kaiden to believe this selection wasn't simple at all. Perhaps he would need to be a minimum of Tier 3 to pass this trial.

"You have drive, I commend you. I hope your strength mȧturės quickly because time is not of the essence." sighed Cynthia as she executed the series of hand seals in reverse. As a result, her outer appearance reverted to that of Mayor Lowe.

"I will see to it that I don't let down your expectations." said Kaiden as he nodded. Although he didn't receive the knowledge he was looking for—he received two worthwhile quests.

Turning, Kaiden exited the premises. However, Kaiden looked to the sky as the atmosphere seemed slightly different—as if beasts were released into the midst of otherwise domesticated beings.

Stepping into the game, each of the 8 Guild Leaders of the Eight Insurmountable Titans and their Vice Guild Leaders stepped foot into the game. A movement which detailed the beginning of an underlying power struggle. Within each of the current 4 Kingdoms, at least 2 of those people touched down.

Moreover, like a whirlwind, they began taking the monster's lives like they were cabbages. Unlike others, they didn't rely on their gear AT ALL! Their techniques and utilization of their Spheres of Influence lead them to effortlessly slay these minuscule monsters. Who knew when they would face their first shred of difficulty.
