Gamer In The Multiverse

After a week in Suna, I was invited to Kiri to discuss some strategies; I was not happy with going to a place where is raining almost the eighty percent of the time, I like my sand alright.

Before going, I practiced once more my sage mode, my sage mode make me look like an Inuzuka, teeth grow sharper, eyes turn dog-like, and my nails turn into claws, I also get a heightened sense of smell.

Gaara, Kankuro and Temari, were put into a strict training regimen by Koro and Baki, I wanted them to be strong enough to fight Jounins with ease, Gaara was already close to that, and Temari and Kankuro had the talent for it.

The road to Kiri was uneventful, nothing out of the extraordinary, yet, the enemies villages were focusing on overtaking Konoha; first, I had a huge part of my ninjas there holding ground in Konoha territory, and another protecting my borders, I think they were attacking Konoha because it was the closest one and had the most prominent military power in the alliance, providing the most significant amount of ninjas available for battle.

I hate using boats, and unfortunately, that's the only way to get to Kiri, so I was stuck for a couple of days in a boat, wanting to throat up the entire trip, seasickness is the worst.

Arriving at Kiri was as I expected, some ninjas were waiting for me, I expected nothing less, but I was still had my guard on, they might betray us, one never knows.

Mei welcomes me with a smile, as I enter the kage tower, to discuss our ideas to solve this, the Hokage was going to arrive in four days.

After four hours talking about or ideas, I came to the conclusion Mei was pretty smart, she recommended to one Kiri nin in each team, as Kiri specialized in assanitation to make the teams a strong lethal force.

Four hours were discussing and drinking alcohol and eating food while talking.

I agreed with her, having the hidden mist technique was a good idea, especially if you capitalised on it.

"I'm glad my ideas has proven worthy of consideration, Kazekage-sama," Mei said with a smile.

"Please call me Zed, we are in this shit together, the very least I can do is consider you a friend," I said smiling.

"Then, by all means, call me Mei," Mei said with a smile.

We continued talking as the talk slowly started to derail from the main topic the war, Mei started to talk about how many times she had beaten her ninjas when they said she's too old to marry.

We laughed together and changed anecdotes about our villages, fun stuff primarily nothing regarding classified information, just friends that might die sharing some information.

"Mizukage-sama I think that's enough alcohol," Ao said, approaching to take the bottle we were drinking.

"Ao touch that bottle and Ill kill you," Mei said smiling, "Leave us alone,"

She was asking the Anbus to leave the room, I did the same with my ninja, and we continued talking this time without the looks of our ninja.

"War, war, war, this world is so predictable," Mei said in a sad tone, "I just fixed the shit the last Mizukage left and now I have to put Kiri under the sword again."

"The last thing I wanted was war, but they seemed to think I will stand down," I said with a sigh.

"Yeah I know, Hiruzen is a peace man, he would sell his own family for peace, and you don't look like a person that loves war," Mei said drinking a bit, "So many handsome men will die, and I will lose many options to be my future husbands.'

"I get the feeling, I never had the chance just to have fun with a girl or get a girlfriend; first I had to keep my father on check, then I became a kage and now is the f.u.c.k.i.n.g war, is like the gods don't want to let me get laid," I said laughing as I winked at Mei, "You don't have to worry, only gays would reject you."

"What a flattering thing to say," Mei said laughing, "But I get the feeling, I haven't got the chance to have fun or a relationship, Kiri has always been in some kind of trouble and fixing those troubles take your life away,"

"Life is a chore when you excel at it," I said, holding my cup.

"Cheers to that," Mei said drinking.

The talk continued, as we shared the misfortunes of being a kage, while we both loved our villages being a kage meant, sacrificing your entire self for the betterment of the village, whether you liked or not, in all my life here I had only slept with four women, and none of them were consecutive, my time was always doing something, fixing the food shortage, improving the health care in the village, etc.

"Our life sucks, right?" I asked Mei.

"I have never been surer of something," Mei said laughing, "But we love our villages and is our duty."

"Amen to that sister, amen," I said as I joined in the laugh.

Our talk somehow led me to her room, where we continued talking and stuff; I wasn't drunk, believe me, when I say getting a ninja drunk takes a shit ton of effort, chakra keeps you on your feet, but you can get light-headed, Mei was beautiful, why didn't she had a husband, were they scared of her power, that seemed to be the only option a man wouldn't hit on her.

Mei stared at me for a second and said, "We might both die in this ordeal, how about we fix a problem we both have before that?"

I blinked just to check I was awake, "What do you propose?"

"Let's have some fun, a one night stand as some people say," Mei said seductively, "I get to have fun with a handsome young man, and you get to release some pent up stress, what do you say?"

"I stand by my last statement, only a gay would say no," I said with a smile and Mei laughed.

"Well, this is a way to ensure the alliance lasts," Mei said laughing, "I hope you are up to the task."
